I liked that a show about theology can still have a distinct visual style. The acting was top-notch all around.

I watched it and enjoyed it. I however missed the first 10 mins.
I started watching when Joan was on the bus. Anyone want to fill me in?

You only missed Joan having trouble sleeping hearing her name called...this was intercut with scenes of her dad at a crime scene with a dead girl...cut to the credits which are AWESOME.....

The show resumes as you have the standard introducing of the family characters. Joan is dressing and she sees an old man stanting outside looking in her window. She runs outside with her family, but no one is there, and they think she was hallucinating or something.

That's basically it. You missed some great dialogue, though.
