Here is the challenge.
There is a cover of A-Ha's Take on Me by both Reel Big Fish and MxPx.

I want people to reply and vote on which one they think is better. In order to do this you need to download both tracks and listen to both of them in their entireties.

Yep. Reel Big Fish version ROCKS! It sounds alot truer to the original, while still sounding punkier and not so 80's.

The MxPx version sounded kind of flat to me. It was still alright. But The RBF version kicked ass.

A HA! I knew it sounded familier!!!!!!!!! I haven't seen that movie in so long. My buddy used to work at a video store so we used to get high and watch Baseketball at least once a week. I think I've seen it about 20 times all in all. I haven't seen it in a few years now though. :(

i saw real big fish last summer and they played this song, and it is probably one of my favourite covers. so i vote rbf

Without a doubt it's the Reel Big Fish version. I love MXPX and all - but RBF kicks it on this (sad really that their best song is a cover)

Reel Big Fish's version definetely. Of course, I'm not a big fan of MxPx.

RBF!!!

I've liked most of their music anyway. Not a bad band, IMO. I like them and also The Mighty Mighty Bosstones....;)
