i had read on these boards that alot of you guys think this is one of the most underrated movies.... and i totally agree! this movie kicked major ass and im now a beleiver in christian bale's ability to play Batman. this is one of the most underrated movies i have ever seen and i come to ask myself one question. why wasnt this movie a wide release in theaters? it was twice as good as minority report and i think equal to the level of the first matrix movie.

i give this a 9.5/10, great ****ing movie!

fine then i just thought i would bring it up since the thread has been around from january and has gone throught the months. We still use the thread even if it is not a current movie right now.

i actually saw one advertiesing of it when it was coming out and it looked so cool. And i waiited for it to be realeased on DVD.

I saw some praise for it at the IMDB boards so I bookmarked the thread to look at during the weekend. When the weekend came I went to look up showtimes but it was too late the film was already gone.

Very bad publicity/advertising of this film. It was excellent and certainly didn't look like a $20,000,000 budgeted film.

i definatly really liked the movie. My only problem with it was the acting ability in the supporting cast. Bale was great but the others were somewhat lacking.

I just watched this film about a week ago. All I can say is wow. I loved the movie, it will forever go down in my book as one of the best independent films along with Donnie Darko and Boondock Saints. I loved the GunKata, and Christian Bales acting was topnotch, after seeing this I think he'll make a great Batman. He would have been a better Neo also.
