This is a solid DVD for an Ok movie. It's what we've all come to expect from MGM.
The movie has things I like and a lot that I don't. Chow Yun-Fat is the MAN!!!! and placing him versus Nazis is hella cool, but somehow wasn't handled very well. Also, the movie doesn't make a heck of a lot of sense either??? I did think that the chemistry between Sean William Scott and Chow was actually unique. Of course, Sean provides some laughs. There is a scene with some old Chiba movies in a theatre..hehe. The action is quick and really kind of a let down, considering that your watching friggin Chow. Overall, it's a decent flick but has a lot of faults. 6/10
The transfer is very good, so much so that you can see the bad CG. Audio is fine and dandy. The extras are decent, there's actually quite a bit. There are several behind the scenes vignettes showing the different production sides. Theres a reflection from the comic creator. There's an alternate ending which is ok and several deleted scenes that kind of add different parallels to the story. And there are a lot of video game trailers on this thing. All in all a decent DVD 8/10
