Idaho takes his pick and is then booted unceremoniously back upside to CCL again.

The trio (or is it four? Is Idaho alive again? What's going on?) head down Passage C. This includes Kris, Doc Evil, Sparhawk and possibly Idaho (or Idaho's ghost, I'm confused)

Passage C

As Kris Sparhawk and Evil clamber carefully and slowly over the rock pools, crunching crabs beneath their feet as they go, they begin to wonder the wisdom of their choice.

Idaho's ghost drifts along with them.

At infrequent intervals the passage widens out into small caves. These caves are piled high with old rusty cannisters. Each cannister has the US Army emblem printed on the side.

Evil and Kris wisely decide to keep as much space between themselves and the leaking cannisters as possible, picking their way through the greenish ooze pooling underfoot and praying that the stuff isn't flamable in the presence of their burning torch.

Idaho sticks his ghostly head inside one cannister and withdraws quickly.

Idaho: "Man! You DON'T want to know what's in those cans!"

They continue down the passage until they become aware of a dim light up ahead. The passageway starts to slope up and become more dry underfoot.

Eventually they come to a rusted metal grill in the roof, it seems like it's heavily overgrown with vegetation from the outside.

After some hacking they emerge into the woods at M

As Kris starts off slowly into the forest in location M he gets a strange feeling that he's being watched. Treading carefully he looks fervently around.

Suddenly a Wolf darts out from the underbrush.

Kris swings his poker at the beast connecting with the wolfs head and crushing it just as the wolfs teeth connect with Kris. The wound isn't too serious but will have to be bandaged.

Effect: Kris has been bitten by a wolf. He is bleeding but can still walk it seems.

Idaho's ghost doesn't find the old man - but he does notice that he's none too keen on bright daylight - guess that's why you never see ghosts in daytime.

Idaho will need to keep to the shadows or at least indoors for most of the time - think 'Spike' from Buffy but without all the actual burning stuff. Short periods are ok - but prolonged exposure will fry you back to the hot place if you're not careful ;)

As PsychoMike climbs the ladder he looks down.

It's a looooooooooooooong way down.

Distracted by this PsychoMike looses his footing as he goes for the next rung.

He falls.

As he falls he instinctively reaches out to try and stop himself. Incribly he actually manages to catch the ladder with his right arm about halfway down.

But he's still falling.

He has just enough time to let that sink in before he hits the ground. The last thing he sees before blacking out is his ow arm beginning to drip blood on him from about halfway up the ladder.

As night continues and people huddle up in their respective shelters everyone feels the tension in the air.

Feeling restless Mr. Matinee walks over to the window. The soft glow of the moonlight is quickly being overun bu an inky black cloud. If it weren't for the soft lights shining through the windows the whole of CryStal Lake would be plunged into darkness.

We hear a peal of thunder. A few raindrops start to hit the ground.

Mr. Matinee: Wow looks like a huge storm brewing guys. I hope everyones found shelter.

It begins to rain harder. The slight drizzle becoming a deluge in a matter of minutes.

There is a heavy knock on the door of location N.

This wakes up Kris and looking at Link they decide to go open the door. One on each side of the door they steel themselves for the worst. Kris flings the door open....

To see the Old Man standing there, soaked and cackling.

Startled, the duo think fast and grab the cackling geezer before he can run off. As their arms leave the shelter of the house to grab him the raindrops sting their skin. Link and Kris drag the Old Man inside and hold him down on a table.

Kris: You've got a lot to answer to you old coot.

Old Man: Heh if you want answers I'd suggest you let me speak instead of smashing my face into a table.

Link fetches a few bits of rope aand binds the Old Mans hands and feet. As Link does this Mr Matinee watches the window. The rain outside is still getting worse. The lights of the hospital are only flecks in the distance. He sees a zombie walk by and fall as the rain rips off pieces of it's decayed flesh. The visibility is steadily getting worse.

Link finishes tying up the Old Man and Kris deposits him in a chair.

Kris: Ok then, talk. Why have you been killing us?

Old Man: Heh you're all so sure of yourselves. Oh look the Old Guy has a zippo he must be the killer... (cackling laugh). Well truth be told I haven't killed a single person among you. Oh I made a few things happen all right. How could I not? A bunch of developers come in and turn your quiet peaceful home into a loud noisy city slicker paradise... you're gonna be a little upset too. So I decided if I could scare off the first batch of tourists up here then no more would come. I even warned ya that bad things were gonna happen. Ye didn't listen to me but I warned ya. At first I just thought I could be creepy enough to get you all out. But when things started happening and yer friends started dying... well that was when I decided to take more drastic steps. Sure I broke that window that left your one friend with glass in him. I started the forest fire with my trusty zippo which I later threw in the lake. I sawed halfway through the mast of that sailboat that destroyed yer cottage. I even blew up the dam and half flooded the place. But fer some reason you just wouldn't leave. So I finally decided that if you wouldn't leave and something was killin' ya I'd jus tmake sure it killed all of ya. No one else will ever bother me again. So now I've taken certain steps to make sure none of ya get away.

The rain outside has increased to the point were even seeing the trees outside the door is getting tough. The Old Mans statement hangs in the air like a challenge.

Link: I think you're lying, after all if you've done anything else why would you tell us now.

(Cut scene to just outside of town)

We see the power lines running alongside the road to CryStal Lake. They look very peaceful for a few moments. Until a small series of explosions set off at the base of the towers. The 4 large structures teeter and fall. Blocking the only road out of town.

(Back at N)

At Links accusation the Old Man starts cackling again. A few seconds later the power goes out.

Old Man: Because you're too late to stop me.

Effects: All power in the town is out. And a blinding rainstorm has reduced visibility to nearly nil. Even in the daytime the whole town is going to be very dark. The sheer force of the rain makes it tough going as well. These effects will remain until the end of game.

Meanwhile at the hospital, PsychoMike, possibly the most unfortunate person ever to stumble into CryStal Lake (Sorry Mike - it really isn't anything personal, just wrong place at the wrong time. :rolleyes: ;) ), is slowly coming out of anaesthetic after the operation to fix his horrible injuries...

...again.

PsychoMike: *Groggy and disorientated* "Aww, man that does it, when I get back home, the next holiday I take is going to be at 'Mr Fluffy's Fluffy Fun Fair For Fluffy Soft Fluffiness - (Absolutely No Sharp Corners - Guaranteed)"

Mike rubs the sleep from his eyes.

...with both hands.

PsychoMike: "Huh?"

Looks down at his hands. One is the good old hand he knows so well, puncher, worker (secret lover), the other looks...well, pretty much like his other own hand.

Psychomike: "Did I dream that whole ladder thing?"

Studies hand closer.

His arm is bandaged from the wrist up to his shoulder, twisting his head, he peels back the bandages at his shoulder to reveal thick cartoony stitches that would make the old Karloff Frankenstein monster proud.

Psychomike: "Is this my arm or what?"

[CLOSE UP ON HAND]

As we watch, dark veins start to appear from beneath the bandages, spreading over the back of Mike's hand. He holds it out in front of him in confused shock, turning it over to watch in disbelief as the veins spread rapidly up the fingers, gaping in horror as the fingernails grow into thick, jagged stumps, the fingers clawing before his startled eyes.

Psychomike: "What the f**k!"

We hear a disembodied evil childish giggle as, apparently completely beyond his control, Psychomike's hand turns on it's wrist to 'look' at him.

Psychomike: "What is this? Some sort of sick student film destined for cult status or something?!"

His hand makes a lunge for his face, he grabs the wrist with his good hand just in time and pushes it away. It struggles against his grip, growling in that disturbing high-pitched manner.

The door to the room opens, and Psychomike turns.

Psychomike: "Doc! You gotta...eh?"

A Doctor stands in the doorway.. or rather, a dark blank-masked figure dressed in bloody surgeon's gown stands in the doorway.

Figure:"Like my...handiwork?"

Psychomike: "You gotta be f***ing KIDDING!!!"

Figure: "Go get'im boy"

The hand lunges again for Psychomike's face, he pulls back his head just in time as the yellowy claws barely miss his nose.

He tumbles out of bed and lands on the floor with a thud.

He loosens his grip on the arm. It darts for his throat.

We watch as he struggles around the floor trying to pull the hand from his neck.

Psychomike: "You bastard! You dirty bastard! Give me back my hand!"

The hand grabs Mike by the hair and proceeds to smack his head repeatedly against the wall. Somehow it finds some china plates and smashes those over his head.

The Figure watches in impassive manner at Psychomike's life and death struggle as furniture goes flying in the fight. He ends up tangled in a bookcase...twice, during the struggle.

Psychomike: "GET OFF ME!!!"

Mike manages to pull the hand from his neck and, in desperation strains his head to reach for his own shoulder. He starts trying to pull the stitches out with his teeth in an attempt to be rid of the possessed arm.

Figure: *Whistles* "Here boy!

The hand 'looks' up.

Psychomike turns round to see.

The Figure is holding a hammer. It throws the hammer towards Mike.

Figure: "Fetch"

Psychomike: "Noooo!"

Mike releases his grip instinctively to try to catch the hammer, but the evil hand beats him to it in a slo-mo mid-air catch.

It immediately turns it's attentions back to Mike.

*Smack* The hammer hits Mike on the side of the head repeatedly, stunning him momentarily. He tries to fend it off and grabs the hammer before it descends again.

Psychomike manages to wrench it from the hand's grasp.

Figure *Whistles again* "Here boy! Catch!"

The Figure tosses a knife towards the hand, Psychomike drops the hammer and tries to grab the knife before the hand can get it.

He succeeds.

...sort of.

The knife stabs Mike through the palm of his good hand.

Psychomike: "AAAARRRGGH!!"

The evil hand giggles as it grabs the knife from it's 'brother' and lunges again at Mike. It stabs him a number of times before Mike manages to wrestle the knife from it's grasp. He's covered in blood.

Another whistle sounds.

Psychomike: "Awww crap"

He watches as The Figure tosses a machete towards the hand. It catches it in mid air.

A very close-quarter sword fight ensues on the floor, Mike armed with the knife held in his bloodied hand, and...err..Mike armed with the machete in his other hand.

In desperation Mike head-butts the hand, momentarily loosening it's grip on the machete. Engaging the machete with his knife he manages to flick it from the hand's grasp.

Psychomike: "Hah! Gotcha!"

The hand seems to cower away from Mike. Well, as far away as it can get. Whimpering.

Psychomike: "See how ya like it now huh?" *Laughs - he's starting to lose it*

Stabs at the hand and skewers it through the wrist, it squeals.

Psychomike: *Laughs maniacally * "Gotcha didn't I, you little sucker!"

Mike twists the knife in his wrist.

Psychomike: "Who's laughing now? Huh? WHO'S LAUGHING NOW?!"

*Another whistle*

[SUDDEN WHIP PAN]

Psychomike: "Huh?"

Turns to see...

The Figure is holding a chainsaw.

Figure: "catch"



Mike lunges for the chainsaw as it tumbles slowly through the air towards him, the evil arm reaches out too, the knife still stuck in it's wrist.

Psychomike: [i]"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!"

A bizarre mid-reach, slow-motion slapping match ensues between both hands as they battle to be the first to grab the approaching chainsaw.

It looks for a moment as if Mike's good hand is going to win.

But his evil hand changes tactics in mid fight and lunges with two fingers outstretched and jabs Mike in the eyes.

Psychomike: "OW! You little ba...."

The evil hand grabs the chainsaw while Mike's temporarily blinded.

Psychomike: "aww crap"

The chainsaw revs as it descends, slicing off Mikes good arm in a spray of blood.

Psychomike: "double crap"

The evil hand turns swiftly and in a flurry of movement slices off each of Mike's legs in turn.

Psychomike: "..triple crap?"

The evil hand completes it's work before returning to to poise the bloodied chainsaw above Mike's face.

[AERIAL VIEW OF MIKE'S DISMEMBERED BODY, HIS ONE REMAINING BAD HAND RAISED BIZARRELY ABOVE HIM - THREATENING HIM]

The hand makes "Nya nya na nyaa naa!" noises, taunting him with thrusts towards his head, Mike (or what's left of Mike), tries vainly to twist out of the way of his own hand.

Psychomike: "You dirty bastard!"

The hand stops.

The chainsaw revs.

The hand descends in one swift movement.

Mike's head is split in two in a fountain of blood.

He dies.

The Figure whistles to the arm. It turns to look at The Figure before slicing itself free of Mike's corpse with the chainsaw and scuttling towards The Figure.

Figure: "Good boy. But you forgot something..."

The Hand stops for a moment.

Hand: Huh?

The Figure holds up both it's hands, fingers spread out

Hand: Ah!

The hand scuttles back over to Mike's body, dips a finger into the blood and carefully writes 10 on the wall before returning to The Figure.

It follows The Figure out of the door like a faithful puppy, trailing blood behind it.

Fade to black

Dr Evil moves a little closer to the Old Man... suddenly the Old man leaps out of the chair. Looking down quickly Sparhawk notices a nail sticking out of one of the chair legs which the old coot has been patiently cutting his bonds on.

The Old Man quickly chases Dr Evil out of the Spa. Running blindly into the rain Dr Evil quickly leaves the Spa behind. Not noticing that as the Old man exits behind him Kris puts his poker through the Geezers skull. The Old Man falls to the ground dead.

But Dr Evil doesn't see that. He runs blindly for many minutes, finally out of breath he stops. Looking around in the rain he cant see too much and slowly he realises that he doesn't know where the devil he is. He's lost.

Effect: Dr Evil is lost and seperated from the group. With the darkness and rain his movements for the time being will be random. To be dictated by Shanks since I'm going to bed. And just so you all know the Old Man already told you all he knew.

The group splits up to investigate.

On their searches they discover:

An old granny baked solid into a mud bath...head down.

7 people steamed into saggy pink prune-like pools in the locked and barred steam room.

A soup of unidentifiable body-bits boiling in the jacuzzi.

Someone massaged into a broken pulp.

5 crispy-fried corpses in the sunbed room.

A gymnasium full of variously crushed, stretched and dismembered bodies.

I guess that explains why it's sooo quiet here then :D

Lotsa time on my hands. But basically this whole thing only proves one thing. There is definately more than one killer. But sadly it doesn't give me anymore of an idea as to who are the killers. Kris, Iben, Sabin, Pixi, Link and even Mr. Matinee were in range for ALOT of the killings. I don't think Rogue is the killer.

1 - Falls - leg skewered

As Evil runs around a corner, he loses his footing on the slippery marble floor. He goes down heavily. The sphere tries to turn the sharp corner and ricochete off the wall, spoiling it's aim.

It spikes into his leg causing a nasty but non-serious/fatal cut.

Dr Evil wrenches the sphere from his leg and throws it against the wall.

Smokie - Mr. Matinee Link Iben and Kris are suspect.

Kitty #2 - Mr. Matinee, Sabin, Kris, Pixi, Iben and Rogue are suspect.

Dr. Evil - Kris, Pixi, Sabin, and Iben are suspect.

Sparhawk - Pixi, Mr. Matinee, Kris, and Sabin were at A and make them suspect, but Iben being at E makes her prime suspect.

CG 124 - Mr. Matinee, Rogue, Iben, Pixi, Sabin and Kris are suspect.

So according to my deductions Sabin was near 8 murders. Link was near 3. Pixi was near 9. Iben was near all 10. Mr. Matinee was near 7. Kris was near 7. Rogue was near 4.

So that means Iben, Pixi, Sabin, Kris and Mr. Matinee are prime suspects. And Iben being near all 10 definately puts her on my list. And knowing how clever and suprising Shanks would try to make this I thinking he would choose two girls to be the murderers. Think of all the sex they've been having. AND they are still alive.

So I'm saying the killers are Iben and Pixi...
