It hasnt come anywhere near Maxis's expectations and alot of people are unhappy with the game...Maxis are slowly adding new stuff to make it better

Isn't it just an over glorified chat room? I wouldn't pay 120 bux a year for that.

Its more like a giant version of Habbo Hotel if u have ever been there.....
U can build houses and have a room-mate and stuff like that

Yeah that was the problem. No AI running, paying 10 dollars a month. You might as well go play that Coke Music online game for free.

It had Sims, but it didn't have the potential. It would probably be a big success if it was just an online Sims, but free. It's not an MMORPG, it's just an online version of their game, but they're still charging for it. It'd be like if they charged you to play Unreal Tournament 2003 online, or Starcraft or somethin. Thats how dumb it is, stupid fools.

I was literally obsessed with all the Sims games for about a week. Then they got ungodly boring and I haven't looked at it since.

Even Anarchy online is better. You should buy Everquest Triligy it comes with three Everquest installment and you only need to pay $10 a month!!

You make it sound like Anarchy Online sucks, but in comparison to this it's good.

*shrugs
Just about any MMORPG would be more worth your monthly payments than Sims Online im guessing.

And yes I agree about the bordom with the Sims. I found it strange though for me. Because I'd always keep coming back to play it, although after 20 minutes I'd be so bored. Leave, the next day or later in the day i'd come back and do the same thing.

And then even though the boredom with that was true, everytime an expansion came out, people wanted them anyway to try out the new features to make the boredom extend a little longer, plus people like seeing the new furniture and stuff you can use.

Honestly, its kinda like playing with a dollhouse. Its the total equivalent. Which is why so many grown women can relate to it and are a large sum of the gaming audience (and if you have sisters chances are you played with the whole dollhouse thing when you were little as well).

Getting the new furniture and whatnot is probably like getting new toys or sets for your old toys, so you pull them back out again. It's like an excuse to play for adults.

can anyone tell me why EA asks for a credit card when it says free trial....

Because, it's a sign up thing. Makes it so no one else can use the account. Plus it's so if you don't cancel your account once the 30 day free trial is up, they'll charge you.

The first 30 days are free. Every month after that, it charges you. Just need to make sure to cancel the account a few days before the next month begins.

Every MMORPG requires a credit card to activate an account.
