Remember the time when disneys cartoons kick ass? Remember when The Lion King came out in cinema? Remember the last disney film as good as The Lion King? No? Well, it looks like disney are finally back in top form with there latest feature BROTHER BEAR. Disney have never made a film as good as The Lion King, and alot of there new films have sucked(Treasure Planet anyone?) but this looks great!

my only problem with this movie is that it seems to anti-hunting.

It didn't seem like it was worthy up there with Lion King at all in my opinion. The trailer didn't impress me much, chances are I won't see it in the theatre if I can help it.

The only part I enjoyed of the trailer was the ending with the mooses comment on seeing only one movie this year.

Then again I enjoyed Treasure Planet. Good cartoon action flick with some heart.

Word is its coming along great. It was originally ment to be called The Bear King. How lame is that! But it looks like they are try to make the next lion king.

They made this animation in Disney Orlando. When i visited earlier this year, i saw the artists making some of the frames, and also saw a 3 second daily.

It looks alright, but i don't think it's that brilliant. The thing that annoyed me the most about Pirates of the Caribbean is that it had a Lion King DVD trailer, Finding Nemos, this film's and an annoying Hayley Osmond film one. Argghh!

Pirates didn't feel like a disney film, and if i didn't know that it was a Disney film, i would have been like "What the **** - they're bloody cartoon trailers!". I mean, i like Disney films, but Pirates wasn't a place to advertise!

I think Brother Bear will bomb and is just another weak attempt by Disney to reclaim their glory days.

Of course they're saying its going to be, or going to try to be the next Lion King. They've been saying that for years.

Give you an example: Atlantis was suppose to be their next masterpeice.

I'm very excited to see that disney has come out of their bad movie streak ( pirates and nemo ) and I think that brother bear is going to be another hit. The movie falls away from all of the
sci-fi **** that they have been making and goes back to the good old fashioned talking animals and interesting story that never fails....this movie looks like a hit.

Different directors, writers, and animators did those films. When I saw Finding Nemo coming out, I payed attention to the company Pixar, not Disney. When I saw Pirates, I payed attention to the actors, writers and the director, not Disney.

THIS is a real Disney film, and I find that chances are it won't do much better. They need to STOP with the masterpeice dramas that they keep trying to attempt, and stick with pure comedies which were a lot better, and much more appealing (Emperor's New Groove, Lilo & Stich)

i don't like the fact that disney seems to be sending some kind of message with this film. i don't think that most movies should get so political.
