I was just wondering.. Pierce Brosnan brought bond back and now that his bond days are getting past him and he will do one more then throw in the towel, I was wondering who would be best to take on bond after brosnan. Since he was the bond for a new generation, i beleave he will be argueably the hardest bond to reaplace since Sean Connery.

So whos best to take on the role after him?

I would agree with Brosnan being the toughest to replace since Connery, and they are, in my opinion, in dire need of something new to jump start the franchise again. Sorry, but the 40th Anniversary wasn't the ticket. Yes, it brought in money, but it was disappointing to Bond fans and movie fans in general. Die Another Day that is. They need someone new to the scene who isn't very well known. Like all the past Bonds were chosen.

I love Johnny Depp but he just isn't a Bond. He'd make an interesting villian though...

There was a rumor going shortly after Die Another Day came out that the franchise owners were talking to Adrian Paul about taking over the reins.

clive owen is the perfect replacement.

He's a great actor, can drive fast cars, car wear a tux well. and he's really really cool.:cool:

Will Smith may be lobbying to be the new BOND, quiet as it's kept-- his production company was supposedly in talks with MGM to partner-up with the Broccolis...

I think Hugh Jackman would be an awesome Bond (funny, I never thought of him. You'd think being an Aussie his name would've been the first to spring to mind, but anyway). I also think Jason Isaacs would be great. Right age, right voice, right sort of suave cool.

Clive Owen would be my top choice, he's more gruff and manly like Sean Connery was. Hugh Jackman might be good, I'm just having kinda a tough time picturing him in the role...

i like Clive Owen or Hugh Jackman but not Chritian Bale or Will Smith. Jason Issac and Jonny Depp as villians but how about some old Bonds as villians, maybe Roger Moore, Sean Connery, and that one really bad one. those three should be the villians in the next Bond and Connery kills the Really bad Ex-Bond in the opening scene. but maybe not. whatdo you think
