Velox...An alien from a planet where his species has a totally different perception of time from that of humans. Basically, he percieves us like a hummingbird does, like we're standing still. The side-effect of this is that he has a much shorter life-span, but through meditation he can bring himself down to our perceptions of time. Otherwise, he moves at incredible speeds. Suspended animation tanks for his sleep time help to lengthen his life-span.
