View Full Version : Most Anticipated confirmed/upcoming Comic Film PERIOD

We comic fans are sure gonna be spoilt in the coming years. with a choice and an explaination, if you could only watch one, which one would it be.

(we are all going to watch them all, so you're kidding no one)

Mine, would have to be Blade III.

Eventhough Batman is my fave character, and Goyer is writing the next film.

I'm not including X3 or Hulk2, I don't think they should be included.
But feel free, to verbally suggest them.

Where's the Fantastic Four, too?

Anywho, Batman would be my most anticipated. Second place would be Hulk 2 (which hopefully will be made, god-willing).

I left out Fantastic Four because it's still in limbo and we know nothing about it as of yet.

I left out Punisher because deep down I guess I don't like it. I also forgot. Sorry.
I'll get one of the mods on it.

If there were a Punisher option, it'd get my vote. Why? Glad you asked. There are a couple of reasons, really. First of all, the character of the Punisher has been done about a squillion times in Hollywood, it was just never called the Punisher. So, having faith in Marvel, I'm anxious to see what kind of different appeal this one has. I wanna see what they do to prevent it from being just another Death Wish. Second of all, for a Marvel film, this has to be drastically different since it isn't superhero fare. Everything else we've already seen, as they're almost all sequels. I can't wait to see how they approach this, and I hope they don't fu** about with it, and they make Frank what he really is, a frickin' psycho who just happens to be killing the bad guys. I doubt they'll get it right, but I hope they come close. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the other movies listed, and like Marvin said I'll be there for each, but if I had to pick just one to see, it would be Punisher.

FF is still aiming for a fall 2004 release

Iron Fist should be out next year

Ghost Rider is probobly looking at 2005 at this time.

I'm a big comic book geek so I'm really anticipating all of them, cept maybe Blade: Trinity. For now though I'm really looking forward to Hellboy........can't wait to see what Del Toro does with these great characters.

I love Hellblazer and I just can't wait to see such a great book get destroyed.......yet another DC comic book that goes in the trash. I was never a big Blade fan and I want to see how Halle ruins Catwoman, as well as Nic Cage as Ghost Rider.

What a positive group of people !
I loved Spidey and think that Spidey II will live up to the hype it is sure to get. If the studios would follow the comics - all the films would be great. DC and Marvel did the hard part and created the characters and stories.
I am also looking forward to Blade and Iron-man

Ah well - I guess I'm the only one eagerly awaiting the FF movie.

Even thought I'm sure they'll mess it up I can't wait to see my fav team on the big screen.

Spider-Man 2 because we know it exists and know when to expect it, and right after that I'm looking forward to Fantastic Four, but only if they get the right cast...

That's whats freaking me out about the FF movie. All the rumors sound terrible to me. Even the first ones about George Clooney being their "dream" actor for Reed. WTF?
