Yes it's true, last week it earned
1,449,667

this week it earned
204,000

it dropped 85.9% from last week! i think that's a record! And i think that will be a record for the weekend, as it will get biggest drop off second weekend, with probalby about 83-86%

It is a record. The previous one was done by "From Justine to Kelly" which dropped 77%....

I think this is the beginning of the end for JLO's career.Britney lost all her fans following that travesty known as Crossroads, Mariah Lost hers after Glitter (Did she have any to begin with ?).People are finally wising up.Which is a good thing.

I feel bad for Kevin Smith's JERSEY GIRL.This movie is in big trouble in Feb.How will they bounce back from this ?

Remember though, JLo only has a small part in Jersey Girl. she dies near the beginning It's more about Ben Affleck's character and his daughter.

she is a moron, but he is at least a half way decent actor. you think he would get a clue that she is going to ruin his career. which is suprising, since their is rumors he wants to go into politics.

How is the movie in big trouble? Kevin Smith's movies have never been about the "stars" in them.

I've never been big on Affleck, but I would go see From Justin to Kelly if Kevin Smith wrote and directed it!

Totally. I said it once, and I'll say it again. Jersey Girl is NOT a Ben Affleck/JLo movie. It's a Kevin Smith movie.

I'm sure that J-LO with her big booty can bounce back nicely, as for Affleck well he can always do a couple of more Daredevil sequels.

Don't forget, crappy movies start with a crappy script. Who wrote this bomb anyway? And who read it and thought it should be made?

I think it was a timing/marketing gimic. Plus it all looked good on paper. The suits figured "Well they fell in love making this movie, people are going to want to see that." Not me. I'm glad it fell in the crapper. It just goes to show that no matter whats in the tabloids, or how popular and actor and actress may be, it all starts with a good story.
