i'd time travel to december 26 1986 and keep my aunt from dying in a car crash
and then i'd travel to midevil times just cause that's always facinated me:)

i would go to sometime in the late 20's where things costed so cheap...but...no...wait...i'd go to...ah forget it, i'd go to midevil times too because i love their outfits and then...well i would go first to midevil times and then i'd go to the 20's then i'd go to the 60's (all out of fun). yeah baby yeah! :p

I'd have to check out the beginning and end of Earth and the universe first. Then I'd visit all the other stuff (medieval times, dinosaurs, some of the more well-known wars, the Renaissance).

Oh yeah something I've all way wanted to do since I saw Bravehart, I'd take back as much guns, plains and tanks as I could (I'd get them somehow) and then blow away the English along side Mel Gibson.

I'd go to ancient Rome, I guess. To see all the architecture in its fullest glory would be awestriking. The ruins themselves are simply astonishing, I can't even imagine the complete structures. And too see how they lived in comparison to modern day. I'd learn all I could about the mythology and see the birth of Christianity, as well as the chariot races. I'd like to travel all around ancient Italy, maybe take a stop in Greece too.

I would probably go visit Italy during the Renaissance, mainly to indulge the culture junkie and geek in me.

I would also be interested to go to the 70's lost of cultural advances during that time, and many kickass movies.

i actually wouldnt use it
sure i would love to change some things (like telling my mom to get off the interstate so we wouldnt be in the accident and i owuldnt have neck problems)

but right now i am happy wiht my life i get to stay home all day pretty much and post here and pretty much do nothing (thats a lot of peoples dream) and if it wasnt for the accident i wouldnt be doing this and i would be going into 9th or 10th grade tomorow

I'm actually intrigued by theories of time... Stephen King raises the point in the Langoliers that the cold hard truth might be that we can't go back and change things, or even observe them.... living things cease to be in that time frame. Then there's the whole fate/free will thing ... even if I could stop Lee Harvey Oswald from shooting JFK (which I wouldn't), he had so many enemies someone else might have done the job.

Anywho, if I could change things or observe, I would like to go back to medieval times where chivalry was respected and stuff. I try to hold myself to certain morals, and I don't think they exactly fit in today's ruff-and-tumble world.

I spent 4 hours watching that movie, and the only action part was half an hour from the end!!! Granted, Mr. Toomey had his moments.

Alien, you should read this book called The Guns of the South. by Harry Turtledove. The premise is that in the not to distant future a group of neo-nazis travel back in time to the civil war and supply the south with an unlimited supply of AK-47s.

All the authors books are revivsionist histories, but this is the only one I have read.

I would go to the midevil times too. *sigh* Looks like it is time to slay dragons. I would go visit King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.

But I would also go to ancient china. To the period of the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" (never heard of it huh?). There I would like to meet all the warriors and heroes of Wu (and maybe Shu and Wei :confused: ) Then after that....get a sword and......uh nevermind. :)

Right befoe the Great Library of Alexandria was destroyed -- I always wondered if what they say was in there was true.

I'd aslo travel into the future too see what happens to mankind.

What is the fascination with the girls about going back to medieval times? Think of fanon, disease, your either rich or poor nowhere in the middle and no one bathed for months at a time.

First I'd remember what Homer did when he went back. (Don't Touch ANYTHING)

I'd like to visit the late 60's, 66-69 An Amazing era in time (British and American modern history at it's finest)

I would like to also visit the future so I can find out if we finally ever will get to mars and if it ends up anything like Total Recall! ;)

The Middle Ages interest me because I've been to a heck of alot of castles and follies and heard alot of stories and true events and it's not a nice period in time at all!. If you went back you would be a bit dissapointed I think. No Hygeine, No camodities, Always fighting (For For A Gain Of Only Land And Fear). Tourcher of innocent people and their oppression. To be honest it was a brutal time with a lot of the history of Briton behind it, but bad history though, there wasn't alot of good that came from that time................well apart from The Holy Grail ;)

No JFK was going to get out of Vietnam. LBJ increased American involvement. But think about the whole Kennedy living. He would've been re-elected, Nixon most likely would have never won which would mean no Watergate, Ford becoming President, Nixon's trip to China, etc. I did a essay on how his death triggered numerous events that changed the world.

And also there would be one less good Kevin Costner movie.
