I would consider it a worthy reason to upgrade. I assume you have a HD tv for the blu-ray. What is the picture like on it? I have an HDTV, but I don't have one with an HDMI or DVI port and I have been wondering if it would be worth it to buy the player if I can't get the true HD signal.

it looks amazing. it was sold out on tuesday so i had to watch the regular dvd that came with the ultimate set and the quality wasnt that great. but the blu ray version is just amazing.
