View Full Version : Make Post Counts Play a Bigger Role

I think it would keep people engaged in the CS board instead of leaving after 3 or 4 posts if you made a 'gift' system for post counts. Retain the current title system by all means, but it would be cool if you would add something more engaging like after 100 posts, you get to post your own signature. After 1,000, you get to include your own avatar... Or something along those lines

I think that would be interesting but I think people will ALWAYS post 3 or 4 times and leave. Nature of the beast.

Idaho didnt u want something like this a while ago.....
Like a special forum only people over a certain number of posts can go in and such...

I did. Because I was sick of people like Original messing up Community forum. But I saw the error of my ways shortly after.

People who want to be here, will stay here regardless of gimmicks.

If you attach too much value to post counts you'll just end up with a flood of Post Whores spamming their arses off to get to the "special" status.
