Is it true that this DVD is coming out in 2004 ? Does anyone know anything about this ?

Escape from New York was suppose to be out on Dec. 26th of this year .. But nothing else has been said about that date .. I hope it still styas at this date .. What did you hear about this movie in 2004 ??

Hell yeah! I saw this movie for the first time back in June and I thought it was great. I hope the SE hits this year.

Yes, the DVD comes out very soon. BUT....am I the only one that thinks this movie blows? Don't get me wrong, I like Snake, etc. But God this movie is awful.

How not worth $20, when you can pick the one disc for 10 or less.

Not sure I totally understand what you're saying, but of course this new release is worth 10 bucks more. It features tons of extras, and anamorphic video! The transfer on the original release was terrible, and the extras were nonexistent.
