I was just at the IMDB i read that in one of the latter Friday 13th Films (the first one made by New Line) that at the end Freddy's arm is in it. Could sombody explain this plot line and will it be in any way connected to Freddy Vs. Jason (which i really would like to see.)

Any Help would be well recieved, Thanx.

In Jason Goes to Hell, the final shot is Jason's mask lying on the ground, and Freddy's arm comes out of the ground and grabs it. I dunno how it'll be connected to the new movie.

If so, this could be like the Alien skull in Predator 2.

we understand bro, but yeah, like arrakis said the mask is laying there and freddys hand comes up and grabs it and pulls it under, i think that was just a little something special for fans, i dont know if they meant for it to be connected to a new movie or what, but yeah.

The way I took it, it was the first sign that the next movie was coming. I think theres a hint into the movie in Freddy's Final Nightmare or New Nightmare as well.

Friday the 13th Part 7 - New Blood was originally suppose to be a Freddy VS Jason type movie, but through the different companies and arguements/disagreeing, rewrites had to be done and the movie just turned into another Jason flick.

It has been planned for a long time to do this movie, and it was pretty much announced that they were going to be allowed to do this, so they planned it, thus the little hints in those other movies like Freddy's hand onto Jason's mask (makes sense considering the new film is about Freddy resurrecting Jason).

It just seems time went by even more so than expected, and then some other Jason crap film ended up coming out all of the sudden. Oh well. The way I see it, ignore Jason X and just take it that Jason Goes to Hell is back to back with Freddy VS Jason. Cause according to the stories Freddy can't get at these certain kids cause they're using drugs to keep them from dreaming or falling asleep, so Freddy resurrects Jason.

Anyways, yeah. It was just like a little teaser into something future, or something for the fans.

The Alien in Predator 2 wasn't necessarily saying that a new movie was coming out (even though there is one now), but it was just kinda paying homage or respect to the comic book that was recently released prior to the film.

Jason X, as horrible as it was, started sometime in the future (before Jason is sent even farther into the future) so that left it open for many more crappy sequels that could take place between 9 and 10.

I just figured that both were just a cool little thing thrown in for the fans. I had no idea that they really had plans for F. vs J. before now.

Well it's only because the two franchises were owned by two different companies that were really stopping it from happening, for those who were trying to make it happen.
