First of all, is this movie going to have two different endings? I read on many boards that people seem to think that after the end of the movie, when the credits are rolling, we will see a second ending. Also, is anyone dressing up for the movie? I feel a bit of a loser thinking about dressing up, as I am grown with two young children, but I thought it might be fun. I was on the website www.goalieterror.com checking out the Freddy vs. Jason masks. I saw that there is a contest on that website for the best dressed Jason on opening night. Anyways, I started thinking that maybe I'd wear the mask I ordered to the movie. I was just wondering if anyone else planned on dressing up or if you think there will be many people dressed up for the movie.
11 MORE DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Check out the mask I bought at www.goalieterror.com and click on masks. Then Freddy vs. Jason. It's the BOMB!:applaud: www.goalieterror.com (http://www.goalieterror.com)

Yeah, you think too much obviously? It was the cheapest I could find that wasn't made out of fiberglass

i think its awesome how much you're into it, i hope you like the movie when it comes out, that would be a lot of money down the drain if you ended up hating the movie :D

I just recently got into it. Honestly, Michael Myers is my favorite, but I'm still psyched for this one!

Well, I mean the dedication is cool and all... but you didn't really NEED a fiberglass one. $110 bucks just for a dress up at an opening day for a movie seems to be, not to be offensive or anything, a bit sad.
I would of just gone out and bought a cheap hockey mask. And then I could probably easily touch it up to look like the one you're buying, or any of the others.
I might understand a bit of cough up money for a replica of Freddy's glove. That, in appearance, atleast looks unique, and would be worth showing off even besides a movie permier (guess it wouldn't be good to take the real knives into the theatre though). Seems more collectible than a touched up hockey mask, fiber glass or not. Not to mention I think his newest glove is the sweetest looking.

I also have a Freddy glove, and you're right. It's SWEET!. Unfortunately it's just a little too tight on my hand.

I agree that Michael Myers is still one of those mastermind killers.
But I am hyped for this one because Freddy is always my favorite.

I'm going to dress up for sure! I have a hockey mask, a ratty old fedora, and a red and green striped sweater. Figure I'll be both characters at once! (besides, it's easier to wear the hockey mask than to put all that burn make-up on my face.)

I'm also dressing up in a Freddy glove and Jason mask. Think that will be kick butt. I'm supporting both. LOL. Where did you get your mask? I got mine at goalieterror.com and I'd like to someday get one of the undermasks. I heard nightowl had great undermasks. I like NFX too!

I have heard about the two different endings too...one with Freddy winning and one with Jason winning, only the way I heard it was, in different theaters they will play different endings...I have my doubts if it's true

That would be kinda weird. Atleast would make a little sense as far as satisfaction goes if it tells you which theatres show what.
Either way it's kinda strange. I could understand alternative endings on the DVD though. But neither character is going to die anyway. I don't see how either will technicly "win".
Something I would wanto see in the ending is just a little fan tease by showing a seperate horror character kinda show up, like seeing his face or hand or somethin. Legally if they don't say his name or directly show an entire costume, they could do it if they wanted.

we'll see...
freddy vs. jason is really uncharted territory here.. it's kind of like Marvel vs. DC.. in DC, superman is clearly the strongest hero.. In Marvel, the Incredible Hulk is clearly the strongest.. before you put the two together, there should be some established ground "rules"...
both these guys have operated autonomously in their own movie "worlds"... and the consistency of their presumbed abilities has wavered vastly from feature to feature..
you know, how does the lumbering Jason almost always catch up to his running victims? (limited teleportation?)
in the Freddy films, he is presumed to be more vulnerable in the waking world, but there has never been any "true" consistency to how this was handled..

I saw it last night. Had sneak preview tickets through a radio station and it was pretty good. Only one ending, and the winner is definately clear! Wore my mask from www.goalieterror.com and everyone loved it. Totally rocked and the movie was good. Not the best of either franchise, but still pretty good!
