Gigli - does anyone like it?

i read on dark horizons that gigli has gotten a 0% on the rotten tomatoes meter.

After all the re-shoots and re-editing, this movie still sucks ass.

Is anyone remotely thinking of seeing this movie when it comes out?

I will be deeply shocked if Ebert said he liked it. But. Ebert sometimes sucks up for the crummy messed up teen flicks.

I haven't seen the movie, so I can't tell. However I have a feeling it's not as bad as everyone says it is. I think it's more like people WANT it to be bad, so they just don't like it.

Ebert gave it thumbs down, but he didn't dislike it as much as the most critics disliked it. This is one I won't even bother with.

We have this at our theater. I've watched a few scenes on my breaks, and I really can't say anything good about it. Well, Jennifer Lopez is damn sexy as usual, but that's about it.

Oh, and there's a fairly funny part at the end of the credits with the mentally challenged kid singing "Baby Got Back." Makes cleaning theaters a little more fun...

I wonder how this movie is going to affect Jenifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's careers. I mean, it did so poorly, does this means that in the future these two are not going to get paid as much for a movie because they can't bring in the crowd? Does the box office failure has to do with the fact that people know they are engaged?

I haven't seen it, and I will probably catch this one on TV, but really, how bad is it? And what the hell is the story line? 2 people falling in love? Well, it's going to have to be more than that if they want $9.50 from me. That's how much a theater ticket cost in Boston, Massachusetts.

This goes to prove what I've been saying for awhile now. Affleck and Lopez are both waaaaay over-rated, and if you take them outside of a film with a gimmick to it, people could care less. Better actors will have a certain amount of draw no matter how bad the movie is, but those two don't have a strong enough core audience to overcome a stinker. Plus, even though they may whine about how their every move is recorded by the media, they've fueled that by her writing songs to him, him being in her music video, him calling her during a television interview, both of them playing up the extravagant gifts to each other and posing for tabloids, etc...

So people are sick of them, and they have the audacity to wonder why?

she is the laughing stock of the entire world. she sucks terribly at acting. she can dance and has a great body, thats the limit of her "abilities."
