Yeah, the movie poster was all black, with only the buildings as the background. I actually prefer this dvd cover. The special features look pretty good.

At first I had doubts that the Hulk will be a good movie. But when I saw it for the first time I was shocked that it turned out to be a good movie. But now on the dvd, being that it is a universal studios release you would think that it will include a DTS track. But looking at the specs there is none. Now being the movie was a powerhouse in a theater with the surround sound, you would think they include it on the dvd. But I guess they might reveal it at later date.

How the hell can they justify having no trailer on the DVD, even the worst, low budget movies have trailers

Region 2 Information

Title: The Hulk
Starring: Eric Bana
Released: 17th November
SRP: £19.99

Further Details
Late this afternoon we received the official press release for The Hulk. For the past few weeks there has been various rumours flying around concerning this release, but we decided to hold out until we got official word of it. Anyway for anyone not familiar with the movie, here is some info from the pr: Bruce Banner (Eric Bana) is a brilliant researcher who is working alongside his beautiful ex-girlfriend Betty Ross (Jennifer Connelly) in a genetic research laboratory. When a scientific experiment goes wrong, Banner is hit by a deadly dose of gamma radiation and is bizarrely left unscathed. A strange presence, however, soon begins to develop within him – an anger fuelled presence that will eventually cause him to transform into the Hulk.

Released a few weeks after the region one DVD, the UK DVD will also contain 2 discs. Good news for region 2 fans is that they get the added bonus of a DTS soundtrack which is missing from the region one DVD, other than that the extras look identical. The only other difference appears to be the artwork, which you can see below. You can expect to find The Hulk in shops from 17th November, where it will retail for £19.99. As for extras you can expect the following:

Feature commentary with Director, Ang Lee

Hulk Cam: Inside the Rage

Thunderbirds Teaser Trailer

Superhero Revealed: The Anatomy of the Hulk

Deleted Scenes

Hulkification

Evolution of the Hulk

The Incredible Ang Lee

The Dog Fight Scene

Making of The Hulk

Well, not quite, but I loved the film, and the CG is great, much better than people give it credit for. This will be on my Christmas list, and if I get a job soon, I'll but it myself.

I liked it when I viewed it in theatres. But after repeat viewing on DVD I've begun to love Hulk. I mean I really am starting to love this film a lot.

Maybe this is one of those rare films that doesn't connect with it's audience during it's theatrical run, but finds it's legs on VHS/DVD (like John Carpenter's The Thing).

Baadshah
10-31-2003, 07:17 AM
ya, because in theatres, you tend to agree with the overall audience. WHen you see a guy yawning, then you might feel like it's boring. You tend to have mixed feelings when watching it with a crowd
