If I had my own channel it would for the most part be a music channel playing only good music I like. No Justin, no xtina, no Britney (singing, but if she wants to show up and just look good, that's ok by me ;) ) No pop in general. rock and good hiphop only. Other programming would include a few car shows that have some class and intelligence, not like the powerblock on TNN. The would have to be a movie review and critisim panel show hosted by me. and then nights and weekends play a few good classic movies. Adn there would have to a late night talk show hosted by someone who is actually funny for more then 5 minutes (Maybe I could steal John Stewart from Comedy Central). There would also be a nightly news that focuses on more then just what we are supposed to hear (eat it CNN). There would also be a documentray timeslot sometime in the week that takes a good look at world issues. I also want a crossfire knockoff show, its the only thing on CNN worth watching IMO.

Its a bit of a menage but I'd watch it. I think I need more channels then just one.

Its just something I dream of when I'm channel surfing through all the crap that is on TV most of the time. Actually I don't watch too much anymore. I only have a few shows I always watch and a few more I watch if I remember.

Well here's mine:

It's a mix of Comedy Central,Fox,Cartoon Network,Sci-Fi,movieplex,ESPN,the old Nickolodeon/Nick at Nite,TBS,TV Land, and shows rom coporate networks(ABC,CBS,NBC)It would have all the shows you like to watch, put sometimes can't find.
Early in the morning, they could have game shows.around Noon, have some comedy/sci fi/sports for a couple of hours. Then have your prime-time,late night and 2-4 movies a day.Cartoons on saturdays any a themed sunday.Kinda hard to describe, but it's basically the only channel you would need to watch. It would be called DGTV,Damn Good Tv!Whatta think?

I's have something like CNX. Anime and good cartoons for the most part with UK premiers before Sky gets them and I'd try to get Matt Groening making more new Cartoons (Simpsons is getting over done now). At night about 6 or 7 o'clock I'd get a Movies 2003 show with Jonathan Ross but I'd need to change the name coz I don't think the BBC would like me taking there show and host. I'd probably put the movie on right after it and Jonathan Ross could give the low down on what it's about just as his show ends.

I’d call it something different and really weird.

My own personalized channel would be 24/7 Simpson episodes.

I'ld watch if these were the ONLY shows.

The C.N.F channel. Meaning Cancelled But Never Forgotten. The only place where you can watch reruns of your favorite show that for one reason or another, had to be cancelled.

Trio did something similar last year where for the whole month it would air short lived dramas/comedies ranging from the 60s to 90s. It was called Brilliant But Cancelled. It also aired some specials relating to shows that were cancelled and the whole network thing.

I'd like to have like a CTV/Global where I'd only show the better shows. For instance, cancelling Will and Grace. :D

i have one that is based on a simple idea, but would become one of the biggest channels around just based on the idea. why do you think reality shows were as big as they were for so long, because they never had any RERUNS. JUST MAKE A CHANNEL DEVOTED TO RERUNS. EVEN IF SOME OF THE SHOWS WERE CRAP PEOPLE WOULD TUNE IN TO WATCH JUST BECAUSE THERE WERE NO RERUNS.

it seems that shows less new episodes year after year. instead of showing constant repeats of shows, and if they are going to cut down on how many new episodes they are going to make. why can't the major networks just have each show be half of a season with less repeats, and have more programming on the channel. most shows have between 22-26 new episodes during the regular tv season. well those episodes are shown mostly from sept-may, and with each show having so few new episodes several repeats inbetween. why not all of the new episodes of a program from sept-dec., and have it be its regular season. then have different programing from january-may, so there will be less repeats of whatever is shown. i think it is unfair that most new episodes are only shown during sweep months.
