Okay, first off, I have to admit that I used to absolutely LOVE Cho Chang! I thought she was the coolest!! Oh, so pretty and nice and talented....
That was until the 5th HP book, Order of Phoenix, when Rowling finally wrote more about her true personality....which absolutely SUCKS BUTT if you ask me!! Ack, that girl is manipulative, and extremely high maintenance!! If I did what she did to Harry to every guy I met, I would never have any guy friends, let alone boyfriends...
Cho so majorly annoyed me in the 5th book....so I am asking your opinion right now. Did she annoy the crap outta you too, or did you enjoy her heart-breaking ways?

She bugged me too, but you kinda have to cut her some slack too,. Remember what Hermione said about all Cho's feelings? I don't think she does that to every guy she meets. That sounds more like her snitchy friend that told about the DA, IMO

True, very true......maybe I'm just being *****y about it because I have never EVER met a girl as demanding as Cho seems to be....and though Hermione understood her, I doubt any guys would be able to decipher the cryptic messages Cho sends out.....

Haha, sort of like the "I love you but I'm not in love with you" bit?

Keep in mind also what Cho had to experience. How many of us have had someone we liked (and were going out with) suddenly die? She deserves a break. Harry doesn't understand that at all - which is really sad, because he obviously doesn't like it when people talk about his parents (or Sirius after the battle).

Well, she did have a lot put on her platter, didn't she? But what I didn't like about her is that she did sort of string Harry along.....She may have liked him, but she was sort of using him as a device to vent her own sorrow, even expecting to talk about Cedric a lot with Harry [And Harry is pretty touchy about the issue of Cedric too...]

Oh, no doubt. She should be cut some slack, but it's a two way street - it sounds like she's be in mourning ever since Cedric died, and has let everyone know about it. Do that enough, and nobody will want to be around you.
She needs a therapist.

I hate her too! She's soooo flirty and she always wanted to go out with the popular guy in school (i.e., Cedric, Harry, the Ravenclaw Keeper (?), etc.) It annoys me whenever she acts like that....

*sigh* I liked her when she was first introduced to the series. I thought she had more depth. I was wrong. She's so bratty. All she does is cry and complain. Gives the female part of the population a bad name.

For me she's like Snape. I love reading about them because they are such crappy people.

I agree with Seraph333, Harry is way better off with Hermonie, which i hope he will end up with. As for Ron, i think that he will start to like Luna, and perhaps in book 6 they will start to spend time together. Same thing might go for Harry and Hermonie.

Yeah, Harry should go with Hermione, Cho SO does not deserve him. lol :p She was so...annoyingly shy... Coy is a good word too describe her. lol she just kept getting on my nerves. But I liked reading abot her, because it was cool that harry finally went on a date...:funny:

i agree with the whole 'cho is high maitenance and doesn't deserve harry' thing, cuz she WAS realllly annoying.... i mean.... i know she'd been going through a hard time, what with experienceing the whole thing with Diggory.... but she can't expect Harry to wanna talk about it, can she?
I always kinda thought she'd be alright.... i guess not....
BUT i don't think that hermione and harry should end up together.....
i think Ron and Hermione should. I mean, it's dead obvious that ron likes her, and there are small hints about hermione's feelings.... i think they'll end up together. that's the reason they always fight.... they like eachother.....
as for Harry.... well, i expect he'll either end up with Ginny.... or someone else will be introduced into the novel....
we will see.....

yeah cho is a bit of a winer. she's a little too emotional (a bit sterotypical). But i really thought that she was gonna end up with harry at the end, but it was not to be.
