The Matrix Reloaded was my favorite movie of the summer.

I still have yet to see T3 & POTC. You can imagine how pissed I am. I'm seeing Bad Boys II again tonight and I'm going to try to sneak in T3 afterwards. Someone please wish me luck.

Pirates of the Carribean. I never had so much fun at a movie. I mean, it wasn't an oscar winner, it wasn't a complicated plot...but it was just lots of fun. That's what more movies need to be, straight out fun.

As of now, i would have to say the best films of the summer, of the ones i seen, are:

seabiscuit: simply superb in all respects...

T3: had a lot of fun due to good acting, super sequences and a good story besides.

Italian Job: a good caper movie that was interesting all the way through.

X2 : pretty good for an action flick. good acting and story.

hulk: terribly disappointed although eric bana was good but the oversize hulk was not.

matrix reloaded: hated this movie. hated this movie.

POTC: a babysitter for the working mom. terribly dull and scripted.

1. X2- Best Superhero Movie ever made!
2. Pirates of the Carribean- One of the best action films made in the past few years, and a classic performance by Johnny Depp.
3. T3- Despite crappy dialogue in some places, it features awesome performances, an awesome plot, some good humor, and an awesome ending.
4. Finding Nemo- Awesome, awesome, awesome. No other word to describe it.
5. American Wedding- one of the funniest movies I have seen in a long time.
6. Freaky Friday- one of the big shocks for me of the summer...I wasn't looking forward to it at all, watched it, and then watched it again the next day..great movie.
7. Charlies Angels- you can guess why....
8. Seabiscuit- good inspirational story...

Those are the ones I would buy...the rest of them range from decent to horrible.

i'd have to say Pirates Of The Caribbean.

Matrix was OK...it wasn't brilliant (apart from the 18-wheeler shot). Revolutions should make up for it though :applaud:

also, T3 had great visual effects, it was a really fun movie.

I'm seeing Nemo today...i think it will probably beat Pirates.

And I'm seeing American Splendor on Friday - that should be wicked.
