e-mail notification

i dont receive a e-mail of notification of answers in my posts... why ?

in my profil, my e-mail is OK and option of notification is activate ! !

Yeah it doesn't work for some reason. Just keep track of your posts and refresh often.

I never get pop ups when I get a pm. That irritates me.

I used to get onscreen pop-ups to alert me when I had a new PM - for some reason that just stopped and no matter what setting I have in my user cp I can't get it back.

I was going to ask about getting email notification and saw this thread. So basically even though I set my profile to receive notifications if I am not getting them there is no solution?

I think the e-mail feature is turned off. It causes the PC the site is on to get bogged down.

The usual complaint about this is from newbies. But after a bout of week of being here they are usually glad that there isn't. You'll post on so many threads that your email would be swarmed with notifications. So I wouldn't sweat it, Gerald. Just keep coming back. Welcome aboard!

I keep a seperate tab open on my browser for PMs and I refresh it every 5-10 minutes to make sure I know I have messages

I just glace down at the bottom of the screen every once in a while.....

I have a pop up blocker. Its good for some stuff but not for everything :(
