Who should play Psylocke. I know it says Kate Beckinsale might be up for it but how about some other suggestions. Im thinking Jennifer Connelly.

psylocke is Asian. she's Japanese actually. But damn it if Hollywood isn't up to its old tricks again, changing the races of the characters to fit it's own close minded views. God forbid that there should be a decent role for an Asian actress every once and awhile without Hollywood screwing it up. Lets not forget starship troopers, where all the main characters where suppose to be Latin (you can tell by the names of the characters, and the fact that they are from south America), but they only cast white actors to play them. I am tired of this $hit. But what do you expect from Hollywood anyway?

Psylocke was asian...later on. She was originally British. That's why she has a British accent and her name is Elizabeth "Betsy" Braddock....it's an English name. She was born in Maldon, England. So, she should be played by a Brit....or at least an American that can pull off a British accent. I don't think they should make her asian, they should keep her original nationality.

Oh yeah...I forgot she was Captain Brittain's blonde sister and she was turned Japanese by The Hand in Uncanny X-Men.
Her first American appearance was in New Mutants Annual #2 I think.

I completely agree...if they were going to make Psylocke asian then Hu would have been the perfect candidate. Oh well, she'll do as Deathstrike.

I like Catherine but Psylocke can't be older than Wolvie or Storm lol. Plus she must be able to kick a lot of ass ninja style

She's way too big of an actress to play Psylocke, IMO. And Zhang Ziyi would be a good choice, but unfortunately she speaks no english.
