Now that the story's set up, Raimi can go full throttle with this movie, and we get another great supervillain, plus it introduces Doc Conners, so we can jump right into the Lizard story in the third movie. I agree the last one was a bit kiddie, so I'm hoping for a bit more violence and Spidey wisecracks, plus a very distraut/angry Harry...

I think Venom will be in the 3rd movie..... or i hope at least...

Why is everyone insisting venom should be in spider-man III? Don’t get me wrong I like him and all, but if they had venom in the third movie then they would have to change the story line somewhat. They don’t have to do the whole Secret wars story line but what about the whole symbiot (sp?) latching onto peter parker before latching onto Eddie Brock? They could do it so the symbiot latches on to PP the first part of the movie then Eddie the second, but what would be the point (plus it will confuseand annoy a lot of people) or they could have it so that the symbiot latches onto Eddie straight away but what about venom having Spider-man’s powers, knowledge, the fact that it he doesn’t trigger Spidey’s spider-sense? Ok they could use the 14 genetically advanced super-spiders in first movie, but that won’t explain the whole Knowledge of PP etc, plus you would have to think WHY? And HOW?
How I would do it is to have Peter get Symbiot in the 3rd movie (and have spidey Battling another villian) and at the End of that. the symbiot then goes onto Eddie Brock. Then the 4th movie could have venom as the villian seeking revenge on PP. but thats just me. :)

Im hoping we may something to do with the Symbiote in the 2nd one...Maybe Doc Ock has something to do with it...or something about it in his labs....
And i doubt they will do a goblin-return type story for any of the films...It just wouldnt make sense to do it that way....

And here's a description of the Spider Man 2 footage shown at Comic-Con:
It first showed sort of a montage screen of different scenes in the movie. One shot was where Spider-Man, battle ravaged, was crawling along a very large spider-web and smiling. Another shot was of Spidey waving to the camera. It also showed James Franco who I can say is confirmed due to this visual shot. Now the scene began. The scene started in some laboratory. Doc Ock is lying on his stomach on a operating table, being experimented on by six or more scientists and is having tenticals fused to his back. One scientist is telling about the experiment to a fellow scientist. All of a sudden, the camera pans down and shows something under a blanket sheet move. Then out from under a tentical elongates (With VERY cool sound effects) and slams a scientist towards the wall. Then another arm elongates onto and grips a scientist's face and slams her into a wall. Now all of the arms continue to literally punish the scientists as they scream for mercy. The Ock origin is a HELL of a lot better then the Green Goblin origin. I GUARANTEE FANS WILL BE STUNNED JUST AS I WAS.
Then it cuts to Molina's face, style lying on stomach while he has a bandage around his eyes. He rips it off and seems to be woosy and has no idea what just happened. Then gives a mad look on his face.

Here's a glance at the best of 3 photos taken of the Comic-Con footage of Spider Man 2...
http://superherohype.com/gallery/Spider-Man/Spider-Man_2/Movie_Stills/docockvideo2.jpg
And here's the latest from Sam Raimi on what to expect and not to expect for certain in the sequel...
USA Today talked to Spider-Man 2 director Sam Raimi about the rumors going around...
• Don't expect any upside-down canoodling this time. Mary Jane (Kirsten Dunst) and Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) are on the outs: MJ is pursuing acting and modeling, and Peter is going to school and foiling evildoers.
• Mary Jane isn't waiting for Peter to come to his Spidey senses. She is linked with handsome astronaut John Jameson (Daniel Gillies), son of Daily Bugle editor J. Jonah Jameson.
• Dr. Octavius won't woo Peter's Aunt May as he does in the comics — at least not yet. "That is a popular story line," Raimi says. "It might appear at a later date. Anything that puts Peter in a difficult situation, I'm for it."
• The Sinister Six, a gang of villains (Vulture, Electro, Kraven the Hunter, Mysterio and Sandman) organized by Doc Ock, also will be missing in action for now.
• Dr. Curt Connors, who was mentioned in the first Spider-Man, will show up in the sequel, played by Dylan Baker (Happiness). But any transformation into the Lizard, his evil alter ego, is on hold.

As you can see from the poster image, the tentacles have been accidentally fused to Octavius' spine and can't be removed for a good reason: they don't want to be removed. As you can see from the poster image, they've been accidentally fused to Octavius' spine and can't be removed for a good reason: they don't want to be removed.
Unlike the character's comic book counterpart, Doctor Octopus' tentacles each have a different function and are able to do different things. You can see a hint of this if you look very closely at the ends of each of the tentacles; the ends appear similar but have minor differences from each other. "The four claws are not identical...for very cool reasons," writes our source. And listening to what Marvel Studios' Avi Arad had to say at the SPIDER-MAN 2 panel on Saturday, they might also each have their own distinct personality! Now we're really excited to see these babies in full action against Spidey!
"Each of the tentacles has the underside painted yellow like a snake belly," our source goes on to say. "The yellow is a bright 'police line' kind of yellow. It really makes the tentacles look like serious machinery." Again, if you look closely at the teaser image Sony provided us you'll be able to indeed see a yellow stripe running down one side of each tentacle.
Also hinted at in the teaser poster is a clue as to where Spidey and Doc Ock will go at each other in the picture. If you look at the full-size image supplied at the top of this page, you will see Octavius standing on the top of a structure. And if you look very closely at the bottom, you'll be able to see the top of what appears to be a roman numeral. That's because Octopus is perched at the top of a clock tower, a very important location for a major action sequence in SPIDER-MAN 2. That's where Spider-Man and Doctor Octopus go at it web to claw!
In the comic book Doctor Octopus had a hairstyle that makes him look like one of the Beatles during the 60s. He also wore thick circular glasses that whited out his eyes, giving him more of a menacing look. For the movie translation Raimi's tried to keep Ock's look as close as he can without losing points for fashion disasters; thus, the movie version of Doc Ock has bangs and wears shades to obscure his eyes. Instead of a white labcoat, the movie Octopus wears a green trenchcoat.

Back in the early 90's when Erik Larsen took over Spider-Man from Todd McFarlane his (Larsen's) hatred for the Venom Character gave way to the stupid tongue that became a trademark to Venom for years.Larsen felt the flapping tongue would cause Venom to lose some appeal. It made him Cooler to some fans.So this backfired on Larsen.
That's just another example of someone hating Venom.
I personally can take him one way or another.I got tired of the character because they overused him in mini series and guest shots and I just grew sick of him because he was shoved in every thing.

Guys, that article about Raimi and Venom is over a year old.I'm sure he has changed his mind since then, Plus Raimi doesn't decide who to use, the studio does.He definately has a say in it but the studio has more. They also decide who's gonna direct, Raimi can't do these forever. If another director comes aboard Venom will be in a Spider-Man Movie, which part we'll just have to wait and see.
What's wrong with Raimi? It's not like he can't ask Stan Lee or whatnot for assistance with the character.
Stan Lee knows nothing of Venom, in the interview with Kevin Smith he states he didn't really follow the later issues. He knows who the character is but not the way some fans do.I think it was David Michelinie who wrote all the cool early Venom issues.Raimi would have to go to someone who wrote Venom, Stan Lee would be tremendous input for characters like Doc Ock, Goblin and others he created but Not Venom.

What are you blithering on about Alien? What’s John Jameson (the Astronaut in question) marrying MJ got to do with him bringing back venom?

I read about MJ getting hiched to John Jameson on SHH! and as I only ever watched the spider-man cartoons John Jameson was the one that brings Venom to Brock, kinda. Jameson brings it back from the moon and then it gets out.

From SHH!
In today's Wall Street Journal, they have a report on some of this summer's box office flops. But they also mention the budget for Spider-Man 2. Here's what they said:
"Nonetheless, the budget of next year's 'Spider-Man' sequel is said to be approaching $200 million or more. Amy Pascal, chairwoman of Columbia Pictures, says only that it is 25% more than the first movie, which cost $150 million. But Sony Corp. of America Chairman and Chief Executive Howard Stringer says the studio is willing to spend what it takes to preserve its most precious properties. 'This one has got to be right,'he says. 'You cannot squander the franchise.''
Thats quite a bit of money..But it will easily make it back...Im glad they are putting what ever is neccesary into making this film Great.

So what if all the villains were once doctors that just shows that stan lee want smarter tougher to beat villains facing spidey. Don't be mad that idiots don't stand a chance against spidey. Hey. I've been focussed so much on LOTR now, with that leaked preview and TTT DVD coming up, that I keep forgetting how much progress has been done on Spider-Man 2... I know we have a long way to go, but here's a thought.
Trailer by December, attached to ROTK... We already saw some footage, and it was of the character which I though Sony would show any of for the longest time, let alone some good footage of him. I think that a trailer, especially only a teaser, is possible by December, if not even sooner. It'd be smart to attach it to ROTK, but maybe even with The Last Samurai, or another bigger fall/winter release. Anyway, I don't think a Spider-Man 2 trailer is all that far off (relative to the release of the movie itself, anyway...)
When do the rest of you think we'll see our first official trailer?

From SHH!
I can confirm the report of the Sam Rami footage shown at Wizard World this last weekend. I attended the Wizard World Fan Awards Friday night and Spider-Man did in fact win the "Biggest TV/Movie Event for 2002". Joe Quesada was getting ready to come up on stage to accept the award on behalf of Marvel when he was stopped and the lights went down to show a tapped message of Sam accepting the fan award. He dropped the award at one point to laughs in the audience then talked about all the hard work being put into Spider-Man 2 and hoping the fans will enjoy what they are producing when suddenly off camera to the left one of Doc Ocks HUGH tentacles came in and closed around Sams neck! The screen then went black and the lights came back up. The crowd cheered loudly and drew massive applause.

Exclusive Spider-Man 2 Movie Update!
Tuesday, August 26, 2003 3:53 CDT
Scooper 'goalie33' is back with more great news about Spider-Man 2. Here's the latest word on the sequel!
Well, I managed to get a few more juicy tidbits about Spider-Man 2 from my friend who just finished working on the set. He says we can expect to see a trailer attached to a Sony movie around Thankgiving or Christmas time. He also said the film will have many more shots like we saw at the end of the first movie. He says "I saw rough cuts and they are amazing! Spider-Man goes in and out and all over the place."
We can't wait to see the teaser trailer. Possible movies it could be with are Sony's "Radio" opening November 21, "Big Fish" on November 26, "The Missing" on December 10, "Something's Gotta Give" on December 12, "Mona Lisa Smile" on December 19 or maybe even "Peter Pan" on Christmas Day (which is a co-production with Universal).

Yeah, that's all I said it showed in my above post. Sorry if you misunderstood. SHH! has a few blurry pictures of the footage that I put up somewhere on this thread, it shouldn't be too hard to look through the posts and find them. But yeah, don't expect to see anything from Sony until the actual trailer is released. It's possible that something will be leaked soon before the trailer, but don't look for anything before then...

Alfred Molina on Preparing for Doc Ock
Here's what he said about preparing for the role of Doc Ock in Spider-Man 2....
I remember some of the storylines from when I was young. But I had to go back and re-familiarize myself with the first time [Doc Ock] shows up in the comics from the '60s. I picked up a few collected editions to remind myself of all the cool stuff. The artwork was very helpful to see how he's changed and how the tentacles have changed over the years. His entire look has kind of changed over the years. He started off as this overweight, middle-aged guy and he's become more and more defined. It was fascinating to remind myself of all of this. Of course, our storyline is completely original.

Ah ha! I may have been correct when I suggested a Spider-Man 2 trailer attached to ROTK... We've gone back and forth on info, but I always thought this made sesne...
EXCLUSIVE: You Might See Spider-Man 2 with the Hobbits! Source: Superhero Hype! Tuesday, September 9, 2003
First we heard that Sony Pictures would be showing the Spider-Man 2 teaser trailer with their upcoming "The Missing" on November 19, then a rumor surfaced that the studio instead moved up the trailer release with "Radio" on October 24.
We've now received solid word that Sony may be going bigger... A LOT bigger. Sources tell us that the studio may now give us a first glimpse of Spider-Man 2 with New Line's "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" on December 17.
Sure, it would be a little longer wait, but what would be better than to go see the final installment of Peter Jackson's trilogy while getting a Spidey treat beforehand?!
The release date of the trailer isn't set in stone yet and many things might change, but that is definitely what we're hearing at this very moment.

AOL News (or is it Time Warner News now, heh) spoke to Bruce Campbell about his role in Spider-Man 2 and his thoughts on Tobey Maguire, aka Peter Parker/Spider-Man...
After shooting scenes as the villainous Snooty Usher opposite Tobey Maguire in the currently-lensing "Spider Man: II," Bruce Campbell reports Tobey's back to his old fit self. Thus he lays to rest doubts about whether Maguire would gain back enough weight to fill out his Spidey costume -- since he segued into "Spider-Man II" just a few short months after wrapping his role as a jockey in "Seabiscuit," which required the actor to lose upwards of 20 pounds.
Declares Campbell, star of the cult favorite "Evil Dead" series of horror flicks, "Yeah, actors do all that dumb stuff to their bodies like gaining weight, working out way too much to bulk up for a part. I've done it enough times to be sick of it."
Tobey, he adds, is "a really spry fellow, really wiry and fit. You can really see him growing into the part. Apparently there was a lot of resistance to cast him at first, but you can't cast Tom Cruise in a part like that. I think people are going to like him even better the second time around."

Sam Raimi talks Spider-Man
Picked up the latestest Wizard and it had a Q&A interview with Sam Raimi. In the Q&A Raimi talks about how he's sticking with the theme "With great power comes great responsibility" and how he's playing with variations with that theme. He talks about how New York was a great place to shoot and he is improving the quality of the film. He talked about how he picked his Doc Ock. (Alfred Molina).
Raimi: "I wanted to be true to the idea that Doc Ock was older. He's a larger man, with a certain amount of heft." Sam is being true to the idea of Doc Ock and that Alfred is pulling this character off very well.
James Franco (Harry Osborn) and Kirsten Dunst (Mary Jane Watson) both play heavy factors into the script. Will MJ and Peter hook up in this movie?? Sam Raimi aint telling!!
On a personal note I would like to share that I just got engaged a couple of weeks ago and when I asked her to marry me she said "Yes" and I said "really?" and she said "Face it tiger, you've just hit the jackpot!" Just had to share that with you spidey fans!!!

Article with *SPOILERS* of Spider-Man 2 story... I don't see anything I hadn't heard before, or guessed, but it's always nice to hear it from a semi-official source... However, still take this with a grain of salt. I mean, Hob-goblin? If Harry was to adopt his father's old mantra, then he'd be the GG2, not Hob-Goblin, sheesh...
Spider Man 2 story spoilers
"We received the following from 'cinescoop' who claims to be in the know about Spider-Man 2. We're going to make you highlight it below if you want to read what he has to say. Possible big SPOILERS ahead...
Havent' mailed you in a while, but I just found out some info on Spider-Man 2 that might be of interest to you. It should pretty much be considered spoiler material, so be warned:
Seems Harry Osbourne is not only back as Peter's side-kick/buddy, but his craving for revenge on our favorite friendly neighborhood spiderman is kicking into overdrive, prompting him to get quite involved in fighting yours truly. At some point throughout the film, he hands Spidey over to Doc Ock and towards the end of the film, he hears and sees his late dad talk to him through a mirror. Enraged, he subsequently smashes it only to find the Goblin's lair behind it, filled with all his toys: bombs, glider, suit, etc. I believe it pretty much ends there, but it certainly sets the stage nicely for a possible intro of the Hob-Goblin at a later point, n'est pas? All of this info was obtained directly from a guy who is closely involved with the flic, so, while taking it with the proverbial grain of salt, I do assume that that's how it'll go down (and must add that I'm quite pleased with that idea - hopefully they'll discard the MM Power Rangers outfit this time around and finally build the cool version of the GG suit)."

UGO talked to Cliff Robertson, who played Uncle Ben in Spider-Man, about the sequel and he let out a spoiler...
I enjoyed working with Brian DePalma. He's a good director, a bright fellow and I wouldn't hesitate to work with him again. I just finished the sequel to Spider-Man. They brought Uncle Ben back, which I can't talk about. Sam Raimi is also a fine director and friend. I also met his family. In a town that is not known for its familial tendencies, he has a lovely relationship with them. Both he and DePalma are among my favorite directors.

Last one..Not spoilers..Just something to do with how Spidey2 will do next year...
Variety talked with the trade exhibitors at ShowEast about the anticipated films coming up...
There was near unanimity that New Line's "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" will set the B.O. world afire when it bows domestically and in much of the world on Dec. 17. Likewise, few question how Sony can lose when "Spider-Man 2" starts slinging B.O. webs next summer.
Yet even Cinemark's Warner noted a sequel is never simply a license to print money. "A lot of it has to do with how well the original film worked," he said.

Ok, got a cute piece of info...
Contains a dialogue spoiler...
Not sure if this was posted either but anyways...
Saw Stan Lee on the "Space Channel" In an interview and he said the line that he says in his Spider-Man 2 Obligatory cameo is ..."Hey, Spider-Man Stole that kid's Pizzas !!!!"
Lee in his comedic trademark said that by him saying this line in advance it'll perk your curiosity on why he said it and it will make Sony more money.
Like they need help.LOL.

Spider-Man 2 coming to IMAX?
Apparently the folks at IMAX are eyeing Spidey for another one of their giant screen releases. The NY Daily News reports:
So far fans have been willing to pay up for the big screen experience. Theatergoers who saw the Imax version of "Matrix Reloaded" at the Imax theater in the popular Sony multiplex at Broadway and W. 68th Street paid $13 a ticket, vs. $10 a ticket at a regular screen.
"Our strategy is to offer the consumer a premium product at a premium price," said Imax co-CEO Brad Wechsler. But Imax has to get more studios to sign on. It hasn't announced a big Hollywood deal in some time.
Last week, MGM chief Alex Yemenidjian, was asked at a big media conference whether he'd consider an Imax version of MGM's next James Bond flick.
Yemenidjian said he's talking to Imax, but MGM has yet to commit to anything. Also on Imax's wish list: the next "Harry Potter" and "Spider Man 2."
"I would like to have more visibility," Wechsler said. "We want to show theater owners we have a continuous flow of product."

And I may be too low on that number. It could be higher.

According to AICN, the Spider-Man 2 trailer is supposed to be ready by mid-November, so maybe expect to see the trailer attached to one of the big early holdiay season releases, like 'The Cat in the Hat,' 'Timeline,' or the first week of December with 'The Last Samurai'

Alright, since we're in "trailer mode".... Here's a description of the teaser...
The teaser begins with a dialogue between Toby Maguire and Kirsten Dunst. They are in a coffee shop and she asks him if he loves her. He says "no", trembling. "Okay, if you don't love me, give me a kiss", she says and leans forward. "I would like to see something". You can notice he's very nervous. Just when they're about to kiss he ducks in slow motion and pushes her to the floor. We see a full size car smashing through the coffee shop window and nearly hitting them. In slow motion one of the car wheels almost peels Toby's face off.
Then, right through the broken entrance comes Doc Ock, walking with his tentacles, never touching the ground, like a metal spider. We cut to a series of rapid shots of Alfred Molina, showing off his tentacles (they're attached to his back like a metal backpack) before an audience. Then shots of Spidey swinging in the city. Then James Franco with his eyes open in astonishment.
Then some shots of Spidey and Ock fighting. Actually Doc Ock grabbing Spidey with one of his tentacles and shaking him and tossing him around. Finally, Doc climbing like Spidey a building but with his tentacles until he reaches the top and stand there in full supervillain pose. We pull back and the Doc Ock image fills the eye of Spidey and the letters appear: 2 - July 2004. Notice that, like the poster, they never say it's Spider-Man 2, just "2".

Big SPIDER-MAN 2 news regarding the rough of the trailer Avi just showed in Japan!!!
Hey folks, Harry here... as if watching LOST IN TRANSLATION and KILL BILL didn't make me wish I was in Japan enough, along comes this description of the SPIDER-MAN 2 trailer that Avi Arad just showed a gaggle of businessmen in Japan. Ya know... tonight, when you go to sleep, you're going to dream of this trailer... You'll wake up stuck to your covers all James Cameron Spidey fashion. You'll see... it'll be awful, but for now... THIS RULES HARDCORE!!!
Hey Harry!
first time writer here, from Japan. I got some exciting stuff to tell. I just saw the rough trailer for Spiderman 2, fresh off the hands of the executive producer Avi Arad. Today it was Marvel Enterprise Inc.'s Presentation in Tokyo to announce Marvel Inc Japan, everybody from Japan clothing, food, toys, etc industries were there for the presentation. The purpose is mainly to gain new Japanese business partners. It was a very interesting and boring presentation. Because like any other business presentations, they are trying to sell stuff. I have been a Marvel Maniac since I was a kid (From the States originally) I mean it was exciting listening to them talking about Marvel characters but it is boring at the same time, with charts and analyzation on popularity of Marvel characters to consumers in Japan (as oppose to Pokemon, Digi-mon crap). Anywho......for a big company like Marvel, the presentation DID SUCK, because! the Power Points are the worst I ever seen and they keep messing up the order (in business class, you get a big O "F")
ok, I was falling asleep until, bang Avi Arad shows up, telling people about Marvel Movies. Shows past trailers like Blade, Spiderman, X-Men, Hulk, etc. Using the LAME line "we have about 10 characters from Marvel superhero Database that are being made into Movies and use as promotion for product, we still HAVE 49,000 characters left for you (the companies) to get license from us" (yeah, translation: good characters has been used, you Japanese get the left over crap, jkjk). OK, to Spiderman 2
Avi Arad, warn us that this cut was just done about a few days ago (FRESH from Sam Raimi!!!!) No CG was done, nothing was finished, just rough. At first I thought it was the Comic Con footage (I never seen it, I would of been happy just with that), but NO, it is the rough cut of the trailer that is either going to be shown in December. I can tell ya the trailer is about 2 minutes. I can also tell ya, I crap and pissed my pants after I saw it.
Ok, the footage is top secret stuff, why? it has the CEO name of Marvel printed on the copy. Dead center of the footage. No one is going to steal this copy and release it on the net.
Ready? FULL description:
Mary Jane and Peter at a resturant talking. (I think the pictures that was on the net a while ago was this scene) MJ: Do you love me? PP: (pause for a bit) No (not very convincing). (It is a very slow scene) MJ: Kiss me, Peter (leans over, ready to kiss) PP: (trying to resist, but REALLY want to kiss the soft jicy lips of Cutey Dunst, ooohhh, gong for it)....................
SUDDENLY, in FULL slow motion, PP leans over (like he is going to kiss her), but NO, pushes her away, as a TAXI crashes in behind PP's head, Matrix style slow speed, as PP pulls MJ away, the Taxi is flying in mid-air, just inches away from PP's head, broken glass everywhere, in slow motion. PP and MJ hit the floor, the Taxi's tires just barely passes by PP's eye balls. Back to regular speed, Taxi crash into the back wall of the cafe/resturant.
Shot from outside, tentacles (YEAH!!!) moving towards to cafe at a FAST SPEED. walks in Doc Ock, he is floating in air, only the tentacles are moving on the ground. AWESOME!!!! then the Doc, smiles madly at them. After this full scene, is all fast editing (most of it in CG wireframe) BUT ALOT, means, this trailer is FULL of FX once it is complete!!!
ok, remember the last scene of spiderman 1 where spidey swing around in the money shot of NY city, think if that multiply by 100!!! spidey is all over the place, swing like crazy!!! FULL ON, no cuts, just kept swinging and swinging. Then we got a scene, (looks like before the scene in Comic Con) with Doc Ock, flexing the tentacles in front of the scentists (before they were beat up). His back with fused tentacles facing the Camera.
Then we got scenes of spidey battles Doc Ock, Doc Ock using his tentacles throwing (I MEAN THROWING!!!) loads of cars and taxis at the swinging Spidey, loads of expolsion!! as the cars hits buildings near by in the NY streets. Spider is trying hard to dodge them.
One cool scene is, Doc Ock, successfully KICK spidey's ASS, knocks him out with the tentacles and carries him away. Then next scene, put him down in front of a fire place with his tentacles. Where you see Harry, holding a knife ready to stab him with it, and Doc Ock with a big smile in the back, just watching with a gesture "go ahead, stab him"
More battle scenes, tentacles all over, spidey shooting webs. Doc Ock is pretty much floating in AIR the whole time, his legs never touched ground. AMAZING STUFF!!
then as the trailer coming to an end, we see a green screen scene of Alfred Molina's face, with a big Doc Ock smile, the camera pans out, Ock is now a wireframe CG character, he climbs up a big building (the building in the poster) like KING KONG STYLE climb on the side of a Empire State. You can tell is right before the final showdown between him and spidey.
Screen turns black, the number "2" shows up, then "July", then "2004". END
WOW!!! everyone in the presentation room start CLAPPING!!! I dirtied myself.......even more, right after they showed a FULL uncut video of Spiderman Ride Film at Universal to promote the opening of next year.
I really hope we get to see this, with FULL CG FX soon. I cant wait. Spidey 2 is expensive and looks expensive. Avi Avad said, "we spend LOAD of MONEY on this, but is money well spend", "Hurry and partner with us, Marvel Inc"
Well, that is it, I got my free Marvel T-Shirt, Free X-Men 2, DareDevil DVDs, free comics, booklet and a COOL ASS Marvel BAG. Meet quite a few interesting people there, like Sony Pictures Japan CEO, Universal Studio Japan Marketing Director. I consider myself very lucky. Because everyone was there to do business, I was just there to get FREE ****.
Hopefully, I will get a preview pass to Spiderman Ride (maybe the movie too?) because my company I work for as some what a connection with Marvel and Universal.
Well, I hope this is interesting news, get you guys excitied about Spidey 2. Sam Raimi, you are GOD and please make EVIL DEAD 4!!!!!!!!!!
Peace out

Very strange... When I heard last week that the teaser was going to be released with ROTK, I simply assumed it would make it's way to the Internet a bit earlier, either officially or unofficially, and then the next day I received an e-mail from Sony (as you do periodically if you sign up on the Spider-Man 2 web site) saying that the teaser would be available to subscribers (it's nothing special, it's free, you're just on their mailing list) 2 days in advance. I can't think of why they wouldn't release it, unless it's not ready...
Very strange... Thanks for the update, Mirko.

Some nerd will get it online.
Don't worry just yet.
I think it would be cool if they slipped in some other bad guys.
Like in the opening sequence, Peter could be just walking through the city when he sees Mary Jane, for the first time since he left her at the the cemetary, and thinks about walking over to talk to her, then decides he will until The Rhino charges through the street destroying cars in his way and causing people in the street to scream. Peter quickly jumps in an alley way, gets into costume, jumps up the wall, and begins the pursuit of The Rhino.
Spidey could be chasing The Rhino through traffic, cars being crushed under is huge body, and spiderman swinging around and hopping from car to car in pursuit. Then they fight their way through different areas until finally reaching the roof of a building. Then some more fighting in which The Rhino charges Peter and catches him by the leg and tosses him into the air, spidey does some cool acrobatic(?) stuff and then lands, add some more fighting, and snappy dialogue. Then a news chopper flies overhead, and in an awesome moment, spidey webs the chopper, then swings towards The Rhino while he charges him head on. You would expect a devastating head on collision, but then, spiderman pulls himself up in the air psyching out The moronic Rhino and he runs off the building and lands on a truck, nearly going out of it. Spidey swings down, questions him, but before The Rhino can finish his answer, the cops show up, attack spiderman and spiderman swings off. But, The Rhino is linked to the same people who give The Octopus his extra tentacles.
I know, it's totally byist towards Pete. But a boy can dream. A boy can dream......
