JP3 wasnt that bad it has some cool parts,few cool dino's same ol raptors,and the little dinos,and T-rex and that spine-saurus which sucked,cause t-rex is better then he is,

JP4 should be good cause now it might finnally END with this story, whatever it is,

JP1 T-rex took over the Island

JP2 T-rex came to The Big City

JP3 T-rex got eatten by Spine-Saurus

jp2 was didn't live up to the hype. it was too cruel and not much fun. but jp3 was the worst one. i mean, couldn't they have come up with a better story? how does a 10 year-old boy survive in an island and even rescue the adults from a pack of raptors? and what of that part where they save themselves by returning the eggs? also, who was that boy they cast? i've seen him in a lot of low-budget movies and i've loathed just looking at him ever since.

hope jp4 at least matches the 1st. i can accept spielberg not directing, as long as it has a more believable and coherent story.

Well funny that you mention that. Not only does she look like Portman, she also played Padme's decoy on the Phantom Menace. I couldn't believe my eyes either. Check it out.

A movie being good, and a movie being profitable are two very separate things. This movie will be very profitable. Her career will do just fine.

Having seen her in that Doctor Zhivago mini series with Sam Neill recently had me in shock when Keira exposed her breasts. I was like Oh My God. Why did you do that for? I never expected her to do that really I mean at her age. She's only been 18 for the past 5 months.

And yes I forgot to mention that Keira is indeed hot.

Oh - i might as well tell you the truth while we're at it.

It was never actually said Keira was asked to be in JP4. Some loser lied that Box Office Mag had an interview with her in there. And seeing as the US one didn't have anything about it, it's really hard to find a mag that's called Box Office Magazine, and not in the US, so it was defined a "rumour" by the JP4 sites.

But it could be true, and JP4 is going along as planned

Ooohh, new news says Kiera has signed on to JP4. But still need some more confirmation.

And a view on the Jurassic Park franchise so far:

Jurassic Park (1993 ): A+; Very good, and wonderful movie.

The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997 ): A-; Very well done movie, everything flawless, great mood, the dark setting was engaging. The thing that sets it off is that last scene with the rex in the city.

Jurassic Park 3 (2001 ): C; Nothing more than a film to entertain, no good plot, nothing engaging. Just a quick action flick that really set off the pace of the last two films.

I agree, the 1st and 2nd movies were good, the first better than the seconds and what gets me about the 2nd is the writting of the book and screenplay at the same time with noticable variations. However, the third one didn't need to be made, so with that I ask, Why a 4th? Besides profit motives. Why make a JP4?

Nothing beat original and that was the only one I watch because I sense the 2 and 3 would turn out and it kind of did.

If JP4 turn out to be good, this will boost up KK career a lot.

I love Michael Crichton books in general, and they have the potential to make great films- JP, Disclosure, 13th Warrior, Andromeda Strain (way back in the day!).

JP4 sounds like a stretch, but if Crichton is involved in the writing it could be good.

I know the movie Timeline is based on a one of his best books, so I'm looking forward to that.

I'd say speilberg is shooting for a JP4 because JP3 didn't do anything for closure to the franchise. And because to end it with JP3 would suck because JP3 sucked. I think JP4 will be the last of the series. Original Jurassic Park is my most favorite movie, and I really hope the 4th can settle the series perfectly.

To end the series the dinosaurs would either haver to be heavily guarded so no-one can get to them,orthey bomb the islands,like they did in the end of the first book.Just MO,though.

If Keira is in JP4, I just might check it out. Both Keira and Kate Bosworth are two of my current favorite young actresses, cause both of them are super hot and can act well. Still, I only like JP1 and hated JP2 (thus I skipped JP3). Keira alone might not be able to carry this film all by herself.

The 1st were both great, the best.
The 2nds were good minus the last 15 minutes or so of JP2.
The 3rds were, well, not good. Basically pure profit motive.
The 4th Jaws was good too, humorous and what not so... like I asked, anyone else catching the similarities?

Malcoms daughter annoyed the **** out of me. Same with the kid in JP3.
