Sounds too good to be true, but latest news is that Payton has verbally agreed to join the Lakers. Karl Malone has already said he'll join the Lakers if Payton signs with them, so here's what the starting 5 for LA is looking like this coming year:

- Gary Payton, PG
- Kobe Bryant, SG
- Devan George, SF
- Karl Malone, PF
- Shaq, C

Unbelievable! The only way they won't win the championship is if they don't share the ball enough...which could be a problem. This has to be one of the best starting line-ups of ALL-TIME though.

I'm aware that threads eventually get off topic, but there's no need to make that happen any sooner than it needs to. The two of you never let this one get off the ground.

Simply asking for a little common courtesy. Believe me - nothing here requires "getting over"... everything is "peachy"-keen...

...and that's all I have to say about that.

hes still playin cuz he wants the points record and a champion ship (he couldnt do it on the jazz cuz of MJ)
