Im surprised that no one has a thread going on this film. IMO its the only decent US horror flick to be made in the last 5 years.

Made in the classic style with awesome use of moody noir style lighting this film stays with you long after the end credits role.

An absolute corker of a script is believable played out by all actors involved. Paxton does a great job of staying focused and delivery a well thought out suspense/horror piece.

The less said about the plot the better it will be for first time viewers. Just know its a movie that you must see from beginng to end in one sitting to get the full effect. This is one hell of an under rated gem that ranks right alongside DOG SOLDIERS (8/10) and BELOW (8/10) as good films largely ignored due to lack of marketing.

Must see for all those who havent yet had the pleasure and well worth repeat screenings.

Go on all you horror fans do yourself a favour and pick up this bad boy.

Bill Paxton is Talent and a God and if you haven't seen this movie , see it , it's incredible.Does anyone realize that Bill Paxton is the only actor in Hollywood to play characters that have been killed by an Alien, A Predator and A Terminator.Pretty Cool!!!

I didnt see the movie in the theatre, but i was told by all my friends that i had to rent it when it came on video and it was very enthralling.. how somone could call this boring i will never understand.

altough i think you can see the ending coming maybe 1/2 through the film though. still great

A clever horror film, a rarity these days. The ending was very good though many people I knew predicted it to an extent. But when you take into account everything you realise that it still remained a surprise.

Intense, Disturbing and awesome are three words I would use to describe this masterpiece.Paxton is a standout in this film as director and especially actor.The DVD is well worth the buy as well as it has deleted scenes and 3 commentary tracks.I picked it up at a flea market for 5 bucks, best bargain I seen in quite some time.Best Horror movie in years.How this movie did not get mass market appeal is beyond me, It blows The Ring out of the water.

I have an Aunt that is just like how Paxton is in this movie!!! So this movie scared the hell out of me!

I'm not kidding either, just like him. She has already been in a mental institution twice for this.

Oh yeah, Awesome movie although after seeing that I'm affraid for my own life since my Aunt see's me as the the devils girlfriend or something since I like to listen to Metallica and I saw the Harry Potter movies! ...lol I know, I'm going right to hell all of that I'm sure. :D

Yeah I seen this about 20 times , it's still great.
Paxton 's directing is outstanding for being first time.
This guy will be a huge director if he goes full time with it.
He hasn't directed since this tho.
Which is sad.

Frailty was a very creepy movie that screws with the mind. I enjoyed it alot and Paxton was gripping in the film.

I disagree with the starting posts statement that it's the only decent horror flick out of the U.S. in the past 5 years. I'm not sure why in order for this movie to be good every other horror film has to be cast aside. I know it's an opinoin, but I'm just stating that I disagree with it.
