Oh I don't expect any results from our team at all, I just watch for the soccer. If I recall correctly, the US team lost a top player in a car crash, and it's not like there are a lot of great American players around. I'd at least like to see them win a game or two. I'm not really hoping for any one team to win, but I don't want North Korea to win. I can't believe they are even allowed to participate.

I wouldn't be surprised to see an African team win, they're really producing some great talent from various countries from what I've seen. I don't envy England, they're in a brutal group.

Well I've always been a fan of an artist called James Jean. He started out as a comic book cover artist, but branched out to his own works a few years ago. I read his blog a lot, and he posts his artwork every now and then. This one is actually a logo he designed for Guillermo del Toro's new production company called Mirada. I don't have it set as my wallpaper any more and I don't think I ever saved it to my hard drive, so when I changed the background to another picture off the internet it must've overwritten that one...

No unfortunately I really didn't find an actual desktop sized pic for it.
I did a search on Yahoo for AvP Chess and only really found large size using my filters.
The large size looks great as a desktop when you use the 'fit to screen' option.

Also found one with them playing pool, but that one doesn't stretch well

I have the pool one as my Facebook Timeline banner. That banner thing is going to suffer the same problem that caused me to open this thread in the first place. I find a pic that sorta does the job but I never find an excellent pic and then I get stuck with a boring picture for months till I find the next mediocre pic to take it's place.

It's cool, I found two. I go for the largest files, then crop them to my screen size, that way I don't have to stretch them out or lose image when it goes off the sides.
