Audition, all the way! I have a story to go with this, and my roommate knows all about it. Of the 986 movies I've seen, this is the only one which I will never watch again. Not that it's bad; it's amazing. But it bothered me so much. Now, I don't scare easily, and the only thing in movies that really bothers me is mutilation of a living thing, be it John Travolta cutting his face apart at the end of Face/Off or Vincent D'Onofrio pulling out Vince Vaughn's intestines in The Cell. And very rarely do I normally get nightmares from movies. Only The Shining, The Exorcist, The Amityville Horror, and the The Ring have given me nightmares. that is, they each gave me a nightmare. Audition, however, gave me nine. I had nine straight nights of nightmares after watching this movie. And not just one scene, either. The wriggling severed fingers/tongue, the needles under his eyes, the bloody piano wire, oh god, the piano wire...

Well, now that I've gotten all worked up about it, I think I'll go watch Comedy Central or something to calm myself down. In any case, my vote is an emphatic yea for Audition.

Have you heard of "The Legend Of The Seven Golden Vampires"? This was a collaboration betw Hammer and Shaw Bros. of Hong Kong, and was a martial arts\vampire film. Big mistake from director Roy Ward Baker, not giving the Shaws the control over the fight scenes and choreography. But it was a very interesting film anyway.

Asians cannot make horror films... i mean imagine Friday the 13th as a asian film... first of all Jason would be played by a little 5'7" - 100 pound asian man instead of Kane Hodder who is huge at like 6'4" - 200 punds or so. Asian pple r so short and thin they cannot be made into a horror movie as being terrifying... u just look at them yelling and screaming and sort of laugh. It just cannot be made right.
