I love this frigging show. That episode where the beast killed hundreds of people in the Wolfram and Heart offices was dark and cool all at the same time. How did they get away with showing all those decapitations on network TV.

It's all looking pretty intense right now. I know they won't do crossover appearances now that they're on rival networks, but I wonder if Joss will somehow connect this "big bad" evil with The First on "Buffy", since potential slayers evereywhere (and their watchers) are getting taken out, and Faith will have to come into play, as the real Slayer. Should be interesting to see, and Joss Weedon tv is good tv.

He came and hosted a Karaoke event and a bar, the same night he was taping the Los Vegas episode (He literally finished a scene and got on a plane to Toronto).
He sang about 4 songs and sang backups and duets with a bunch of people. The man has a set of pipes on hisperson... he blew us away! He is HELLA better live than he is on the show. Anyways he had his girlfriend (or wife.... couldn't tell) and he was drinking and dancing heavy with her and every girl that came and stood by him. She didn't mind she joined them and sometimes danced with other people... it was a good time. He did this til 2am, then did 4 hours of meet, greeet and autographs... I have a picture with him... he's a cool cat.

Anyways Dark Angel had 2 seasons I believe... and it was set up for a 3rd season... but Fox decided to drop it...

Looks like Cordy is a puppet of The First (I'm guessing that's who controls The Beast, since that's who the gang is fighting on "Buffy", and who's been killing off Watchers and Potentials worldwide). I didn't see that coming, and it's gonna make for some interesting angles before this gets resolved.
Also, Faith is back in 2 weeks (sucks that they're making us wait that long!).

Buffy/Angel connections this episode(well minus Faith herself)
1) The Bringers knife in the prison yard
2) is Lilah the First? or just a figment of Wes' imagination?
3) The phone call to Sunnydale.
Anymore to add?

i saw my first episode last wednesday with "Stonehenge" and "angelus"
from what i gather angelus and stonehenge don't like each other but they weren't trying to kill one another. stonehenge's "master" was a woman.
faith was in the episode (That was cool).
but can someone fill me in on who the pregnant girl is? and is that little guy really the father?
i guess i just need someone to bring me up to date.
also, was that michelle trachtenberg that angel called? that was pretty cool.

The Beast wanted to join forces with Angelus from way back. That is why they brought Angelus back...for info on the Beast.
stonehenge's "master" was a woman.
So it seems.

Yes she was, and yes it was.

Cordelia Chase, formally of Buffy, on Angel since Season 1.
and is that little guy really the father?
So it seems, Connor, the 16 year old son of Angel and Darla.

You better believe it. I admit that Angel isn't my bag. (I don't actually like Angel or Cordy, let alone the rest of them except for Wes) I watch it occasionally, but Buffy is my show...but these last two episodes I've actually taped and man o' man am I liking what I'm seeing...
Just saw the episode tonight...can't wait for next week (obviously). And the more I think about it, the more I hope this supposed pilot for Eliza is just a shady coverup for Faith's spinoff (since both are owned by Fox). Only the future (and Joss) will tell.

Okay... here's where i read it.
Aintitcool.com :
Another Key Clue About That BUFFY Spinoff ! !Tuesday, February 25, 2003 ! ! More evidence emerges this morning that Eliza Dushku will not play Faith the vampire slayer (at least on a regular basis) in any "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" spinoff. Variety reports that Dushku will play the lead in an another potential series, an untitled Fox network pilot from Jon Feldman ("American Dreams") and Rob Cohen ("The Fast and the Furious") about a grad student who discovers she can save lives by altering the course of events. Though the pilot may not necessarily go to series, Dushku's commitment to it likely does prohibit the "Buffy" braintrust from building a series around Buffy's darker counterpart. Dushku has signed to guest star this year in three upcoming episodes of "Buffy" spinoff "Angel" and the final five episodes of "Buffy" itself. "Buffy" now looks to end its seven-season run on May 20. A few reports, including one from Britain's BBC News picked up an erroneous item in the London Express indicating that a Faith series was already a done deal. So what will producers pitch as a new Buffiverse series ? Something, likely, with potential.

Pix- I don't believe a word Joss or Fox says til after May 20th *G*
The reasons: Eliza doesn't want to commit to a series (the stumbling block on a Faith series) but she agrees to do a pilot for someone else? " Though the pilot may not necessarily go to series" (also owned by Fox) Fishy to me. And what a Whedon swerve it would be...(remember all the TV coverage of the three stars of Angel only for Doyle to be killed off so soon?)
that said:
If Faith dies at the end of Buffy (it is called "chosen" so it's a possibility) it will answer the question once and for all. Til then Fox can put all the press releases that they like.
Let's face it...Joss is evil. I don't trust him or Fox til after the final episode. :D

Episode 15 summary:
Angelus is feeding on Faith when suddenly he faints. Faith had earlier injected a drug into her blood, making it very lethal.
Faith is very near death. She is brought back to the hotel along with a now captured Angelus, who is locked in his cage. Faith is in a coma state, and Angelus is unconscious. The gang are watching over Faith, while keeping an eye on Angelus.
We are taken into Angelus' mind, where he and Faith are watching Angel perform good deeds. Willow arrives at the hotel, ready to restore Angel's soul. She performs a spell which requires concentration, Cordelia is countering the spell from her room, but Willow overpowers her and the soul is set free. Everyone is still clueless about Cordelia, including Willow.
After being released, Angel is now able to commune with Faith and Angelus in the dream. He and Faith take on Angelus together, but Faith gets badly beaten. She is close to giving up, when Angel gives her some pep talk. As we are taken back to reality, we can see Faith shaking and crying in her coma. Suddenly, she gets up and walks down to the basement of the hotel. She stops Connor from staking a sleeping Angelus, right before the spell registers. Angel wakes up, dazed and confused. Willow tells Faith and the gang about the recent events in Sunnydale, then she leaves, taking Faith with her.

thewb.com, on the message boards, they've been right since I joined the boards so I'm just going with it. while Angelus and Faith are in their comas, Angelus' is flashbacks to all his good deeds. Willow goes back, restores Angel's soul, and allows Angel into the dream with Faith and Angelus, where Faith and Angel fight Angelus together. Then Faith wakes up from her coma and stops Connor from staking a still sleeping Angel. Then Willow tells everyone about the goings on in Sunnydale, and leaves, taking Faith with her.
Sounds pretty accurate, except the Connor trying to stake Angel doesn't sound right. They also said something like Cordelia is in her room countering Willow's spell, but Willow overpowers her Sounds cool.

There was a scene I caught on Buffy the other day on FX...Season 5 "Crush" Tara and Willow are walking from class and the discussion was the Hunchback of Notre Dame.
TV Tome had an interesting analysis:
Tara and Willow's discussion of Quasimodo is perhaps an indication of the eventual progression of Spike and Buffy's relationship, and its inevitable termination. Although Buffy's friends and Buffy herself reject the mere idea that Spike could ever be with her, season 6 proves this wrong. However, the tale is probably an inherently tragic one. Spike may seem to become increasingly human, moulded by his feelings for Buffy. But, as Tara states about Quasimodo, Spike also does not choose right from wrong, but merely does all he does for the love of a woman. This lack of true moral judgment excludes the possibility of a happy ending or true love with Buffy. The comparison between Quasimodo and Spike is particularly clear with the humorous addition that a happy ending could never be possible when the hero is 'all bumpy' (Quasimodo's hunchback, Spike's forehead).
This applies in ways to Angel as well, especially since no one has a happy ending in their relationships in the Buffy-verse...second of all, Angel can't experience a moment of happiness or he goes bye-bye and Angelus makes an appearance. Third of all Cordy she is...um, nevermind...I'll let you catch up *G*
Just a thought.
Hey now, you still didn't let me in on what's gonna happen with Cordy and Angel? are they gonna get it on or not?

Well there's the whole evil thing stepping in their way at the moment. Then there's people speculating that Buffy and Angel will get together in the end, but that doesn't make sense if Angel's gonna keep going. There was a chat with Charisma and David and she said that it would get boring if they got together.

Yup. Angel listens to Barry Manilow's "Mandy" in his flashback during "Orpheus". This is the same song he sang in "Judgement" (Season 2) because he "thinks it's pretty." I've read that too. Looked up TV Tome, it's not mentioned there, so I'm not sure where I read it. I'd bet on it though, too funny not to.

Yes we will now be an episode behind... but they didn't go against the 'from Habeas Corpses on will be new' statement because they didn't show a re-run of Angel this week (by not showing Angel @ all).

agreed. it was excellent. i am glad gunn got some action with gwen. very nice.
i like how connor is actually disturbed by cordelia's mis-judgement about willow and angelus. at least he can think for himself and isn't cordelia's puppet (though his character annoys the **** out of me).
"wah wah wah it's scary being a daddy and all you can do is make fun of me because you don't like me. wah wah wah"
angel delivered the best line "gwen, tonight is not a good time for a social call, we are busy. you know ... armageddon?"
but i agree, the ending was most excellent. can't wait until next week when we find out how they found out about cordy.

Since this has more to do with Angel than Buffy, you get the update. Lucky you :)
E! online: (spoilers abound)
Spinoff Spin: The cast and Buffy boss Joss Whedon all echoed the same sentiment: Definitely no spinoff this fall, but they are hopeful there will be one in the future.
"Somewhere down the line," says Anthony Stewart Head (Giles), "I reckon there will be a Buffy spinoff. There's no rush on my part, and I know the fans will wait...Whatever happens here, Joss has created such a great stable of writers, directors and actors I have no doubt we'll all work together in the future. He has an extraordinary family and an immense amount of talent in one place. I don't see it disappearing--it's very strong. Bottom line is, Joss is the core."
Both James Marsters and Nicholas Brendon (who's now working on creating his own sitcom) said they would jump at the chance to reclaim their roles.
"Are you kidding?" Marsters asks. "I would be all about [a spinoff]. Spike is a Cadillac role, man. You don't have to work very hard, but you get all the credit. It's a sweet deal, so if they want to continue paying me really good money and making me look really cool and not working me very hard, I am there."
Crossing Over? Okay, so no spinoff this year, but what are the chances of the Buffy-ites ending up on Angel?
Time for a little guessing game, my sweets. All the Scoobs (sans S.M.G.) answered the question, "Will you be going to Angel next season?" Here are their responses--see if you can guess who said what. (And no, I won't make you wait till next week, the answers are listed on the next page.)
1. "No, because [my character] and Angel never really got along, so it would be a hard thing to sort of plant myself on that show. It would be a strange mixture--or coupling, if you will."
2. "I think maybe I will. I talked to one of the writers about it and said it might be quite fun to bring me over there. It's such an open book, and that's what makes it so exciting."
3. "I don't know. I never like to say no to anything, because if it's something interesting and it's a challenge, then why not? I do know I came from movies, and I want to go back to movies. It's where I'm at home."
4. "Yeah, I think I am [going to Angel.] Definitely, we don't know--but it is being talked about."
5. "I don't know, probably not. Right now I'm in talks for features and stuff, but nothing I can go into."
Got it?
Good. Now, as promised, I'll give the goods on who said what:
1. Nicholas Brendon (who seems fairly disappointed the door is not open)
2. Anthony Stewart Head (hurrah!)
3. Michelle Trachtenberg (who is shooting a teen movie this summer in Prague)
4. James Marsters (that's a gimme if you read last week's chat transcripts)
5. Alyson Hannigan
Now, of course, if anyone is going over to Angel, that would mean the show would have been renewed, which has not yet happened. But good news: Insiders tell me WB higher-ups are very excited at the possibility of a return of the Buffy actors to the Frog net--which could (fingers crossed) help the case for Angel's renewal.
An Angelic End? If you're like me, you're scrounging for any morsel of info that might imply which way Joss is heading with the finale--will it be about Buffy and Angel...or Buffy and Spike? Here's what the Buffy mastermind had to say about it:
"It was important for David to come and do [the Buffy finale], which is really sweet considering he's all over the end of Angel at the same time. It means a lot to me and Sarah and David and the writing staff as storytellers, because Angel was there from the beginning and because their relationship transcends everything.
"Even though she has a romance with Spike, the relationship with Angel was Buffy's first love. It's too important not to cap it. You can't put a final statement on it. I'm in the process of writing the script now. The show is about life, and the final statement on life is death. On this show, it's not even that. You want to pay homage to the fact that he's a big part of her heart, no matter what, without saying anything definite on what will happen for them in the future."
Infer to your heart's delight. I, for one, am hoping for some series-ending sexual healin'.
In the meantime, something you Buffy buffs will want to know: Starting April 29, we'll be showing exclusive clips of the five finale episodes of Buffy, every Tuesday night at 7 p.m. on E! News Live. Tune in to watch some blubbering Buffy fan talk about how she'll never be the same when the show is gone.
Also, as I mentioned in Monday's chat, I'll be talking very soon with Buffy boss Marti Noxon. So, if you have questions for her, send 'em in pronto.

For those of you that saw the season finale of Angel's first season....or know what the prophecy holds for "the vampire with a soul" Do you think it's Angel or Spike that will become human after they fulfill their destiny (on "Buffy")?
After seeing how far ahead this stuff is planned out.....I gotta proclaim that Joss is an f'in brilliant man!
BTW....could those more familiar with how vampires "work" fill me in on some stuff? I saw the Buffy ep where the First came to Angel. Much ado was made on how it snowed on Christmas day in Sunnydale. So if it's cloudy, a vamp can walk the streets at high noon if he wants?
Also, do they have a healing factor (a-la Highlander)? Angel's only reaction to getting shot was "it really irritates me when people shoot me!" - so I imagine so?

As the spoilers go for Episode 22 of Buffy:
Buffy tells Spike she loves him, and he sacrifices himself to save the world. Now I didn't say he *dies* of course...and he's going to be on Angel next season so take it as you will. I'd love for the prophecy to be really about Spike, but since it hasn't been mentioned on Buffy as well... I know it's not...the show is called "Angel"

Has anyone else noticed his plotlines are drawing from the bible? There's this part of Revelations that talks about the end of the world, and how false prophets will come proclaiming themselves to be the Lord, and many people will be deceived... and only true believers will know the truth - and those people will be persecuted for their beliefs. (sound vaguely like the whole Jasmine thing to anyone else?)

Sweet....and great show tonight! The Jasmine storyline is picking up nicely! The ending was great, with Angel's simple "Oh hell." And before that......freaky! When Angel's crew was slaughtering the National Guard, and Jasmine was laughing along as she sustained every blow herself! ...
Angel's getting some good lines: "Then let's get professional on this evil son-of-a-*****'s ass!"

what I'm wondering is...
If Jasmine was taking all those hits at the end and healing herself, does that mean she's healing the national guard team too, so that Wes and the crew can't make any headway against them?
I believe that's the case - but I'm willing to hear other views on it.

Answer (My Theory)
No she isn't healing them.... they died (the national Guard) but because she is interconnected with them she is cut also... but she is able to heal herself... so thats why she was laughing... they are fighting against her and she has an army of millions. Wes and the crew have an advantage as only a few guards can come through the door @ a time... but they will be weared down and taken down... (unless they pull a rabit out of their hat).

Interesting theory - although I think that wes and everybody WILL get taken down because "next week's scenes" showed them being brought back to jasmine and them finding out that she eats people.

Heh, that is such a funny begining to the episode. There was another part I remember I laughed about.
I don't like the whole "goddess" who wants everybody to be happy. It's like, ugh, stop making everybody so happy. But I do say, it keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Lila shows up....her contract with W&H extends even AFTER death...d'oh! W&H concede the LA area to Angel inc, and offer the building and new staff to them.
Meanwhile, Connor goes beserk and wires up Cordy and a store full of people with bombs. Angel strikes a deal with Lila and goes to fight Connor. He tells Connor he loves him, and he's going to prove it...then kills him!
At the end, the deal is revealed. Angel says he's accepted the offer for the group, and wants to see Connor. He goes off and Fred is like "Connor who?" Angel walks up to a cabin in the woods where we see Connor with a family. Apparently the deal was that if Angel accepted the offer, in return he wanted Connor to have a real normal life as a human! :)
Oh yeah...Lila gives Angel a file and a pendant. "Supposed to be real important for some kind of final battle in Sunnydale," she tells him. ;)

Thats why one should never miss an episode... to get the full scoop... look for episode descriptions which gives entire details on each ep.
Why did she say it? Because the deal whiped Conner's past life from existance... erasing his and everyone else's memory (except Angel).

Really..."slow and boring?" Wes showing how he could pull off James Bond (decking an ex-Watcher and using a grappling hook concealed in his sleeve)? Makes me think the producers were aware of our talk of him as a possible 007! The enigma with Gunn? Connor's decent into pure madness? Angel and Connor's showdown with dozens of lives at stake? And Lorne! :D
I wonder.... How are they going to just forget about Connor? He played a pretty crucial role with Jasmine, the reason that Cordy is in a coma. Will W&H "rewrite" that in the minds of all involved (besides Angel)?

yes, slow and boring.
wes' kung fu action was ok and the fight with connor and angel was cool but up until the last 10 minutes the episode was just anti-climatic. out of the angel episodes i have seen thusfar this was one of my least favorites. maybe i would appreciate it more if i saw more than just half of this season.
and can someone please give me a brief synopsis on W&H so i don't have to go read through every single episode summary and put together all the pieces? thank you.
I thought this was a good episode. How the show, and characters develop is as important to me as how much ass they kick.
Personally I'd be happy to see connor gone from the show, he always seemed to add an unnecessary creepy factor to the show (Always meloncholy, wanting to kill his dad, hooking up with Cordy)

On Connor: If you watch Buffy, he is Dawn in reverse.
(mild spoilers if you didn't see last night's episode, and if you didn't, shame on you. )
On Season 5 Buffy, Dawn (the key) arrived at the Summers' home. Everyone involved with Buffy knew Dawn...they all had memories of her. even though she hadn't appeared in any of the first 4 seasons. From that point on, she had always been around...Connor is the reverse now, as Justin pointed out, no one remembers Connor except Angel. While I don't think this is a complete Write Off, it does remove him from Series Regular and perhaps opens up a slot for a new character from Angel's Past...hmmmm. :D
Personally? I *LOVE* the new direction. Can't wait for Season 5. How sad that Angel is working so well while Buffy is seemingly going out with a whimper.

Wolfram and Hart are a major law firm that are completely evil. they have vamps and demons do their dirty work, they are trying to get evil to be on the side of evil in the war that's coming, they steal evil artifacts, etc...
They have made Angel and gang's lives a living hell for the past 4 seasons...thus the hesitation.
BTW:...As much as I loved Lilah's role in this episode...did anyone else really really want to see Lyndsey in such a W&H focused episode? I hope he comes back next season to work with Angel in the new Wolfram and Hart.

When Angel made that deal with W&H , they pretty much took away any memory of Connor from everyone except Angel.(done before in season One with buffy). Thats why when he takes off to see Connor at his house, you hear Fred ask who connor is.

angel visits buffy and then says goodbye. a siege is staged at sunnydale high and the hellmouth. willow uses the scythe (looks more like an axe to me) to perform a spell that gives slayer powers to every female in the world. meanwhile the potentials (who were in the hellmouth with buffy and faith) were about to get their butts kicked by a couple thousand vampires until the powers kick in and they fight back. buffy gets stabbed but survives, faith kicks butt. upstairs, xander, anya, that gay guy, the principal, giles and dawn defend against the vamps who escape out of the hellmouth. anya gets sliced diagonally down the torso. a handful of the potentials die or are wounded. then the necklake (the heart of the champion) that spike is wearing causes him pain and then sunlight stars bursting out from him and wipes out all the vampires and the hellmouth it self and then we see spike turning to dust. buffy is the last one out of the building and hauls ass and jumps on top of the bus which is carrying the others to safety and then we see sunnydale totally collapse into a giant hole. i actually missed the rest so if something else happened (i missed maybe the last 5 or 10 minutes) then they can fill us in).

How do you guys think Spike will come back on Angel?
I personally think the Shanshu prophecy from season 1 applies to Spike, not angel. Shanshu meant to Live and to Die. Spike died...and now he is going to live...come back as a human. And Spike has been through all the parts of the Shanshu prophecy...
The plague - Episode Pangs where the indian spirit gave Xander Chumas Tribe disease.
The coming darkness - All the lights in Sunnydale went out the episode before the last when the power company left.
and of course...he stopped an apocolypse.
Those were what Wes mentioned...so...Spike should be ressurected...as a human.
Shanshu means to Live and to Die...he died, and now he will live.
Spike fulfilled the prophecy, he will become human on Angel.
carnage4u
05-21-2003, 03:27 PM
I would be amused if that prophecy is used on Spike. It would probably make angel mad or annoyed.
I liked how he seemed annoyed spike had a soul, and was copying him.
I would bet it would be spike as human on Angel. If he stays the same, it would just be too odd with two vamps with a soul. fun at first, but boring real quick

The end of last season. He went to some big mystical monster or sumthin to try and get his chip removed I think. Then he was asked why he was there and he responded "to give the slayer what she deserved" (so he wanted the chip removed so he could kill her) and the beast then said "fine, he would give him back his soul." I think that's how things went down.

No, Spike knew perfectly well the demon was going to restore his soul. It was his attempt to give Buffy what she wanted and become like Angel. Spike passed his tests and the demon said "fine, I will grant your wish, I restore your soul." Spike knew what he was getting into.
Speaking of, that entire plot arch seemed weak, never once did Spike try to get redemption for his sins. Never once with the soul did he even show remorse. He was the same old Spike.

the girl playing baseball was a potential
they weren't able to get every single potential slayer in the world to join them..some weren't even aware they were pre-chosen(like buffy)

I want to know what new memories the characters will have from Angel and Buffy, because after all, Wolfram and Hart changed reality for Connor, leaving Angel the only one left knowing that he was his son and all past events (similar to the episode with Buffy in season one). Surely this would affect all characters close to Angel, Fred says "Who's Connor?" but what about Willow and Faith, they knew about Connor and Faith even had to stop Connor from killing Angel. It would have some sort of knock on effect, if Willow and Faith have no memories of Connor then what would there new memories be of the events that happened in LA? Erasing memories that stretch back a time line of over two years would have produced some serious effects. Unlike the events of Angel becoming immortal which only lasted a day, then time was set back to prevent it happening, hence erasing Buffy's memories, Buffy heads back to Sunnydale thinking that she only stop by in LA to have a go at Angel, when truth is it was much longer.
Makes you think.

Well if monks can make a ball of light into an early teen sister for the slayer with memories for all, I think Wolfram and Hart can change the memories of people for two years.

If you wanna see Angel as the baddest mother****er this side of Angelus, you MUST see season 2!!! Spoilers ahead from season 2:
For starters, in the 50's Angel stayed at the Hyperion. A Paranoia Demon makes the people there go into a frenzy and hang him! Angel comes down, and the Demon taunts him by saying that there are a bunch of people there that need his help. Angel: "Eat them all.
Need I mention Angel walking away and allowing Dru & Darla to kill some 2-dozen odd W&H high-rankers?
And when he DOES decide to do something about it.....DAYUM! He kills their whole mini demon army and literally burns them alive with one well-placed cigarette and some gas!

That's why the show works great because it's not affraid to do the darker episodes.
The fight scenes with Faith and the Beast were brilliant and brutal

I've heard that season 5 will consist mainly of stand out episodes rather than a continued major storyling over several of the season. I thought season 4 was brilliant, I loved every episode of the Beast and Angelus plotline which followed through to the end of the season. It was darker and more serious than previous seasons. Although, it's not such a bad thing having something different every episode.
I'm just glad Connor is gone (even though I thoroughly enjoyed last season, I just didn't like him) and Spike is coming! I'm also glad Buffy will stop in (I wonder how it will be since she isn't that "special" anymore?) I don't know how to feel about no more Cordelia; I'll miss her, but as the creator said there just isn't much more to be done with her.

Everyone hated Connor just coz he brooded around a lot but I liked him I thought he had some potential. Getting him and Faith together could have been fun. I just don't like the way they got rid of Connor.

Maybe Buffy and Angel will hook up because they lost their "special-ness" - She ain't the only slayer (hasn't been for a while, but she was the only ACTIVE one) and he ain't the only vamp with a soul! :D

Well, I heard there's a potential love interest for Angel next season, a new female character working at Wolfram and Hart. I hope that they finally get Wesley and Fred together. I hope they don't spoil Angel too much when bringing in characters from Buffy, although I love both shows, now that Buffy has finished, they'll be bringing in guest appearances from some of the Buffy cast. I just hope that they don't try and aim the show more towards the younger Buffy generation and have characters like Spike becoming the main focus. Even Buffy's character can be annoying sometimes, always having the attitude that she's better than everyone. Angel works best as it is, season 4 was brilliant, very dark and some great fighting scenes.

I hope they make some computer games of Angel but if they ever do I hope it'd not like Buffy and set like 'missing episodes' of past seasons. If they ever make an Angel game I want a whole new story.

I believe that they are making an Angel game. I'm unsure what console it will come out on though. I like the idea of the 'missing episodes' because they're set in the past timeline between events of a certain season of the show. Although, it would be good to have something new, perhaps a game with a storyline that would lead into the new season or perhaps a plotline set in the past stages of Angels life.

History episodes of Angel’s life could be a good game but I'd still want something new.

As far as new, do you mean set in the future?
My idea of a good Angel game would be to a select a character and go through the levels with that character interacting with other characters of Angel as you go on. Maybe something in the style of Resident Evil / Streets of Rage.
Characters and Weapons:
Angel - Dual Stake Kit, Sword, Axe
Wesley - Shotgun, Stake, and Crossbow
Gunn - Battle Axe, Knifes, and Stake
Fred - Book of Spells, Pistol, Dagger
What do you think?

I mean a new story. Even if it's in the past it better be a whole new story and not a 'missing episodes.'

Wouldn't that be the same thing? At least if it was set in the past at some point during events of an Angel season. The story would have to have some relevance, like if it was to be set during season 4, then it would have to fit in that timeline and not seem like it's not associated. Therefore, 'missing episodes' is just a name to describe a prelude to certain events.
