I guess we need a social thread in every forum...

even ones that aren't visited like the Indy forum.

Not sure if you're gonna find as big of an Indy fanbase as you would at the LOTR forum.

Well lets try to sabotage that Green Dragon place, then people will need to flock here.

It's quite cool to hear the reactions of people who've never seen it.

**downs a shot of whiskey**

How could you not have gone to see the Indy movies when they were first released? I remember going to see Raiders during its opening week. Of course, I was only about 4 years old, so I didn't quite catch all of what was going on, but I still enjoyed it. And I went back to see it again at least two more times.

Let's see...

When the first two came out, I wasn't born. When The Last Crusade came out, I was only 4. I was far more interested in cartoons.

The only Indy movie that I didn't see in the theaters was the Last Crusade and I regret it. I rarely make it to theaters anymore.

I rarely go to the movies because I live in a small town 30 miles away from the nearest theater and my job takes up most of my time. That's why I buy lots of DVDs through mail order. Hooray for DVDs.

I'm wondering in Temple of Doom why the villian (can't recall his name right now) didn't pull Willie Scott's heart out of her chest when she was strapped into the cage, like he did to that one guy and later tried to do to Indy on the bridge. I'm thinking it could be because she's female. Anyone know?

I was 9 when Crusade came out so that's the only one I would have had a chance to see in the theaters, but I wasn't into it then. I remember a girl on my school bus talking about eating monkey brains in Temple of Doom and it freaked me out I didn't see Raiders until much later when it was on tv and then I was hooked.

*passes whiskey around to everyone*

I don't know why. I'm extremely familair with TOD. I love that movie, but I haven't gotten around to watching the other two.

I'm a terrible person.
