There aren't any new pics in there because I posted that exact link in this thread and the TTT thread 2 days ago, then Gandollum followed up with link to another site with the same, but far fewer pics in here. (I think that site just ripped off the pics that Tanhauser created for the original site).

That is probly the CGI scene of the elephants in TTT when Frodo. Sam and gollum are making there way to another path to get into Mordor.
It's probly a screen shot from TTT: EE has if you remember there was a Gfx's movie on the FOTR: EE dvd showing us how they created some of the scenes.
Btw The Moose it looks small because it wasnt finished at the time :) Also its the way the camra angle is set.

Like PsYkOoOoO says, the comparitive size deifference in that pic will simply be due to the perspective used. It will be the same basic 3D model as used in TTT.

As it's in the ROTK preview segment though, it's definitely ROTK and not TTT EE. (there were no horses accompnaying the Oliphaunts for a start ;) )

Now I remember in the extended edition everyone was very proud of Peter Jackson not placing his name on the Lord of the Rings clip. It did not see Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings...

But unfortunately, he was greedy. My source has given me a still of the very very very last picture you will see before the credits begin. :) Enjoy

Yes, the most we will see of Shelob might be part of a leg/shadow etc, just as the Balrog in FOTR. I expect the only glimpse we'll get will be in the final trailer.

I doubt we'll see any of the Wiki vs Dernhelm scene, or the Mouth of Sauron, and only a very small teaser snippet of Grond breaking the Great Gates and the Wiki riding in to confront Gandalf.

Ah ok. Well I saw the DVD on Friday, and there is definitely some unidentifiable sound at the very beginning of that small part of the scene. It sounded at bit more like a sudden swirl of wind or something blowing through the tunnel to me. It could be Shelob scurrying though the tunnels though I suppose.

I can't quite work out who the bodies are, but I think it's just a production shot because looking from left to right you have i) soldier with moder day Gondor clothing (and white tree emblem) ii) soldier in last alliance Gondor clothing iii) and iv) I can't quite work out.

The heads though are clearly just cut and paste. If you look closely Merry's is particularly obvious.

I didn't look that closely earlier, maybe this was not a set shot from FOTR, but from right before Pellennor... I don't think it's fake, no reason for it to be... But I can't see it that well...

Why else would Merry have Last Alliance Gondor clothing on. Also, open it in PS and enlarge it, you'll see the rough edges around the heads.

I found the pic on the boxofficemojo.com site from someone claiming to have nabbed it from a 20th Century Fox Taiwan database.

I must say, I always thought it was fake and was never originally supposed to be the 4 hobbits. Maybe it was 4 other LOTR characters instead? The third one in (Frodo) looks to have the same kind of pose, build and splendour as Lord Elrond.

Perhaps it's Aragorn, Arwen, Elrond and...um...someone else at the Grey Havens? Or maybe not. ;)

I'm not, its not something I'd really thought of. However, Pippin's Gondorian clothing (in the film) is passed down from Faramir, from when he was a child. He wouldn't surely have a second set with the crown on would he?

Sorry to say adt but I beleive that is not a fake, the reason it looks to be cut around the edges is because of the colouring of the hair giving some colour defamation because of the quality, had it been a Hi Resolution picture then it would not have caused any defamation

The 'Ent Draught/taller' argument is a big red herring IMO.

They are only meant to be 2 or 3 inches taller Cbars, not a significant amount, and for the films obviously, they didn't really bother to emphasize this with any kind of special effect, it's just impractical. That picture therefore doesn't proove anything in that respect because they're not stood on level ground, and Dom and Billy may be slightly taller than Elijah and Sean anyway.

well look closely at that pic..if could be both of them really..as you can see the bottom half of that person's cheek is black..not shaved perhaps?so it might be a man...so it might jolly well be a guy...or just another one of eowyn's disguise as a man?you never know...and theoden has blonde hair..not reddish hair..that guy there might be theoden but however..theoden has blonde moustache...not black...and that person is too pale to be theoden...but more likely to be eowyn..miranda is pretty fair..so...we'll see

No i didnt mean Theoden... i meant Theodred... its definetly not Theoden cuz that isnt a old man on the horse it is a younger person and each time i look at it, i think its Eowyn from ROTK more and more.

I dont know about the "Easterling" guy he doesnt really seem right for LOTR but i couldnt tell u why.

The person on the horse doesnt look like Miranda to me the hair seems wrong and from the ROTK preview just doesnt look familiar i`ll have a look later because in that u see Eowyn with Merry on the horse if u freeze the frame. I thought the person was smoking too but I have no idea whether Miranda smokes or not.
I would suspect thatr its just Rohan extras as there must have been loads but I could be wrong.

Stubble I presumed you would have heard of, but in the UK it's a term used for when a man goes unshaven for a few days.

Either way, the armour/clothing argument should be conslusive. We've already seen a few decent shots that are Dernhelm. :)

We've seen those pics of Sam and his daughter before (on this thread!) and I seem to remember us coming to a conclusion of that guy with the wierd grin likely being the Mouth of Sauron on this thread too, but I could be wrong about that, seeing as how he looks like he's with one of those processions of 'bad guys' heading towards Mordor we saw Sam, Frodo, and Gollum encounter in TTT... I just think I remember seeing his face with something associated with LOTR here before

The Easterling one hasn't, but the Sam and Eleanor pics have, a long time ago, back toward the beginning of this year. They were from the Quintessential site I think. The Gamling one I remember posting as well. No probs. :)

i believe that the unknown person on the horse could be Dernhelm, but the costume is different to what we have seen so far. those sam and eleanor pics are old, but still cool, and that guy wasn't from TTT, cos the easterlings at the Morannon had things ovber their faces, and the men of Khand (i think) with the Oliphaunts had black things over their faces

The more often you post, the more people get to know you and respect what you have to say. It's good you only post when you have something meaningful to say, but unless it's important, people may not pay attention because no one knows, and therefore doesn't care, who you are. I think in terms of the boards here, 'popularity' is a better term than rank.

As for the avatars, whoever gets it first should keep it, and if you 'took' that of someone else who was here with it before you, it's only the kind, respectful thing to do to find a new one.
