I think it's supposed to be about the distance that was occuring between the band and the audience, that's where the wall bit came from anyway. Actually that's what happened in real life in a Pink Floyd concert, Roger Waters got so mad at this guy in the audience he spat on him. Later in his hotel he got the inspiration for The Wall based on how he felt distanced from the audience in larger more crowded concerts later in their career.

The Wall

In the Old Days, pre-Dark Side of the Moon,
Pink Floyd played to audiences which,

we were playing in football stadiums.

The magic, crushed beneath the weight of

I'm thinking that Chicago was soooooooooooo much fun. I haven't felt that good leaving a movie since Adaptation. This movie was a natural high. I was so giddy after I had seen it that my legs were literally shaking.:applaud:

WHAT JUST HAPPENED

I'm sitting here, in my chair reading the posts. Then suddenly I hear a loud crash. Not a car crash, much less severe...Unfortunately I peered out the door and saw that a guy (about 17) had crashed off his bike into a tree. His three friends, were running around screaming for help and pounded on one of the doors outside. I walked outside slowly to see what was the matter, and unfortunately the guy was bleeding very badly..His pants were covered with blood and he was sitting down crying...I went to call Ambulances but saw another woman do it during the time...Minutes passed, I stayed outside to make sure everything was alright..Ambulances showed up..I left, hoping the guy was alright..Police showed up as well..

Then the sadness came, his girlfriend pulled up in a white car..She ran out with her friend..and kneeled below and saw him...She was crying very hard and didn't let go of him..She just kept crying..Finally..The ambulances had him set up on the stretcher, the girl was helped and walked away..crying as she stood and watched...He left in the stretcher, and everyone which seemed liked a crowd left...slowly..

I hope the guy's okay...
