I'm still thinking that I'm about ready to go home. I forgot to mention this earlier, but I had gone outside last night because the sky was so clear and dark, and I was walking down in the yard (down the hill that is our front yard, actually) in an attempt to find some constellations and I saw a brilliant shooting star! :D It was a bright yellowish-white and I saw it for almost 2 whole seconds! :applaud: It was so pretty!

They should arrange a babysitter, and not send their kids to school to get other kids sick. But saying they are selfish because they don't want to miss work is completely unfair. Some people work pay check to pay check and can't afford to miss work. Miss a day or two of work and the kids don't eat. I'd love to miss work occasionally in order to spend more time with my kids, but if I do, I can't put food on the table. Wouldn't it be more selfish staying home? Think a little before you rant. Not everybody is financially well off.

I was posting that when I was in a hurry as well as in between 2 huge tests. I was also kinda making a generalization and I guess it wasn't accurate at all, since my brain wasn't working right. I know some people don't have much money any way they go (I'm one of them, as are my parents) and we've had to do without a few of our wants to pay for our needs more times than one. Maybe I'll just keep my mouth shut the next time something like this comes up so I won't end up sticking my foot in it.

EVERYONE in my family works. my exhusband lives paycheck to paycheck, im unemployed searching for work, my mom kicks ass at working in a legal firm...and don't even get me started on a babysitter...they charge what...an arm and a leg when i'll do it for free? i don't ask to be paid...hoping someone would be kind enough to do the same for me someday. y'know what? i'll start making them pay...its time for the biaatch to come out and play...sorry its not been such a good day:(

I'm not too worried about it, but thanks!:) I had massive credit card debt due to living off of my cards when I was a student. My credit will be shot for 5 years, but it would have been shot for a lot longer than that if I couldn't clear up my credit card balances. I have no assets, so the government can't get their paws on any of my stuff. It's the best thing (and only thing) I could've done.

I once knew this girl at my high shcool who had the same number as mine but one number off, so once someone called asking for her and I said it was a wrong number...then I gave them the right number and they were speechless to how I knew who they were trying to call...it was pretty funny.

Since you guys were talking about getting wrong numbers on cell phones a couple pages ago, let me tell you about the funniest one I can remember. We (some people from my church) were on our way back home from Oklahoma and we were probably about halfway between Nashville and Knoxville on I-40 and we were stuck in traffic from where a big rig had flipped over, laying across all but one lane of the interstate. All of us in the van were getting desperate for the restroom, and we figured the rest of the people with us were getting the same way. Bobby called them on his cell phone when traffic started to move again and the call went something like this:

Bobby: Hey Ann (his wife), we're gonna get off at this next exit up here to go pee...

Somebody back in Spruce Pine: WHAAAT?!? :eek:

Bobby: :shock: Omigosh, I'm sorry, wrong number! :o *click*

Needless to say, we were all laughing really hard over that, yet trying NOT to laugh was next to impossible. I'm glad we got to that restroom when we did! :D
