I took my Dad and my Uncle to the airport today. Flying to Oregon for my grandmother's funeral. Boy, its a great day in my house. They should be on the plane right now. I hope they make it alright.

On that note, I had a lot of time to myself to think on the way home from the airport. One thing on my mind in particular (since thats the name of this thread) and that is..what the **** is wrong with me? :mad: :(

It's so beautiful here.....the stars shining brightly in clear sky....over to the west, I could STILL see the last glow of day over the horizon. It's freezing and windy, but I did not want to come in. I look at each little speck of light and feel how truly small I am in a really grand picture.....

Oooh, flashbacks to my wisdom teeth surgery years ago...and dry sockets....ouch! I looked like someone choked me, I was so bruised and swollen.

And TMJ is the worst thing in the world....I grind my teeth at night, and even with a mouthguard, I still occasionally get bouts of pain that last a week or two, and it feels like someone is jamming an icepick in your jaw.

So my condolences to all TMJ sufferers, and I hope your surgery goes well.
