I hope that both of you enjoy your proms. I went to both of mine. The one for my junior year (11th grade) was awesome! My senior prom (12th grade) totally sucked. I went to both of my proms. My junior year, I didn't have a date, I didn't really want to go with anyone in my school and nobody really wanted to go with me, so it worked out well. My senior year I had a date. We went to my dinner and dance. Her school was having prom the same night, so we went to her after prom party, and it sucked. She dumped me and hung out with her friends all night. I played blackjack and had a migraine most of the night.

How the F did these characters get Lucas' OK to make this film? They not only use the likenesses and intellectual property of George Lucas, but also infringe upon the score by John Williams. Maybe they made the **** in Amsterdam, who knows. But why butcher the plot?
1) There were no other Jedis...Luke, Obi-Wan, Yoda, the Emperor and Vader...that's it
2) The Sith was limited to 2 Jedi...Palpatine didn't want people turning on him
3) THE BOOKS ****ING SUCK!!!!! Don't flame me with book **** that some wannabe writer begged Lucas for. Those books are written by writers who barely got out of college, can't sell their ****, so they get a liscence from LucasFilm and are allowed to do whatever they want. You know why? So jackasses will read them, take it like the ****ing Bible and spend more cash to learn what Luke's great-grandfather's favorite time to beat off was.
4) Most FanFic is hurting. "Troops" is a tasteful, humorous, light jaunt into the Star Wars universe fully sanctioned by LucasFilm.

Do these people have nothing better to do?

When I get out of film school the last thing I will do is make a 'FanFilm', or participate in the fleecing of the genius that is Star Wars.

I feel "strangers" have a bad rep. I'm sure most of it is due to the fact that the word "strange" appears in it, which isn't very fair. It makes it seem like anyone you don't know has to be strange. How are our children going to meet people if they think everyone is strange!?

I'm still thinking about how much fun I had yesterday. My church's youth group went up to <a href="http://www.grandfather.com" target="_blank"> Grandfather Mountain</a> . While we were looking at the animals, the people that work there told us that we were under a tornado watch. We're thinking, hey, let's go walk across the mile-high swinging bridge now! :D Let me tell ya, that was FUN and a big adrenaline rush. The wind was howling when we went a little higher in elevation to get to the bridge. I was walking across with my friend, Adina. We had to link arms, hold really tight to the railing, and brace ourselves to walk against the wind. I went out past the end of the bridge onto some of the smaller peaks. I'm glad my sense of balance was working, or else I might be in a few pieces on the side of the mountain! Still though, that was so much fun!
