How can you read all that and then say we have no Christmas spirit, I'd say we have the best Christmas spirit ever...and the 25th is just a meaningless date where you rest from Christmas eve.

Yes, Christmas.com does say that Denmark starts celebrating Christmas on the 24th. It's not my fault that you celebrate Christ's birth a day before it happened. ;)

Well, the 25th might be meaningless to you, but as you said, whether you're religious or not Christmas is very special to people, and just as some people celebrate it on the 24th, some celebrate it on the 25th. So it's not meaningless, as you put.

It's relevant that some people realize that not all people celebrate Christmas on the 25th, simply because some times it's important to see beyond your own nose.

And you're right, I can understand why you say it's the 24th, that's how you were brought up to celebrate it as well as many others. And then again others of us were brought up to celebrate it on the 25th. So YES, it's important to see beyond your own nose, for BOTH parties.
