If she does this often Iben, then you need to lay some ground rules. Friends are supposed to be supportive and understand that while you have some committment as a friend, you have your own life to live in the way you choose. Your friend is part of that and if she cannot accept that role, tell her to go and jump.
It is very selfish to manipulate people under the guise of friendship just to get your own way. That's where you become less of a friend and more of a self-gratification tool for your "friend".
Cheer up and be happy in the knowledge that your friend is just being a selfish jerk and you have nothing to feel guilty about. Guilt is a waste of time and effort.:) ;)

I was just thinking about how happy I was that I set up that meeting with the insurance people. I got $600 from them after my car got broken into.
