There are politics and ratings involved. The Academy is the same Academy from last year, and the year before, and the year before, ect. So I dont see what is so suprising or dissapointing. :)

I haven't seen ABM, so I don't know if it's better or not, ut truth be told, I love LOTR and nothing will change my mind. ABM is not typically a movie I would watch for enjoyment. It all a matter of opinion. But no matter who wins the bloody Oscars just remember why you like the movie in the first place, and that is all that matters.
