two things:

a) I've been asked to do a maquette (small model) of an 125ft dinosaur called 'Argentinosaurus' - supposed to be the largest ever. It's a commission for a theme park and if the job goes ahead for the full size (the largest model dinosaur in the world!) it'll mean £1,000's worth of work for me - trouble is, by all accounts the dinosaur is actually a fake and the laughing stock of the palientologist(?) community.

Q: Do I tell the client and possibly lose the commission or keep it quiet and take the money?

b) Is there meant to be sound with this site? I've never heared any.

High school has had it's ups and downs for me, but I just hate to see it end for some reason. I mean, my best friend is moving 3+ hours away and the farthest we've ever been from one another is 20 minutes. Things are changing, for the better I know, but it seems sorta unreal.

It wa a lot different for me, I was extremely happy to be out of high school and away from all my classmates. I never really fit in. My class was extremely clique-ish. I know all high schoolers are, or can be, but ours seemed to take it to the extreme. If someone wasn't in your group, you hated them. I didn't really want to fit into anyone's group, so I took a lot of *****. So when I got to college, it was like a fresh start, I could be who I wanted to be.

My class is very clique-ish too, but the hatred isn't there. It's almost like everyone knows the boundaries and doesn't even try. I won't miss that aspect of high school at all. I'm glad I have good friends that stick by me so I can just do what I want and not worry about cliques. I wish people were more open-minded instead of being afraid to venture out and try and find a new "group" of people to spend time with, everyone would be a lot happier if things were more diverse around here.

How emotional today has been. I've been signing yearbooks, reading what everyone wrote. My best friend made me break down and start crying. She wrote the very first poem we ever read in the first class we had together (where we became friends) and a full page of stuff. It's a happy time, yet so sad and melancholy. Tomorrow is it, last day of high school.

I am a little bit sad, 'cause one of our two australian parrots (or do you say shell parakeet in english?) was lying dead on the birdcage when I returned home yesterday in the evening... :(

But there's already a little bit of fun today, as I went to buy a new "partner" for the other one today in the morning, and the new bird is climbing through the birdcage quite unsure. It's also fun to see, how both of them are discovering something new. :)

Now I will take the body of "Tweety" and bury her in our garden... See you later.

On the subject of Star wars ive just been having a very unfriendly discussion over at the Trektoday BBS my god what a load of children they are say one thing against Trek and their like rabid dogs....shhheeeess man now can any one compere the Star wars films to the Trek films and say the Trek ones are better....Dooohhh

Idiot drivers. One almost caused a major accident ahead of me today. He/she went flying around me and the car next to me, crossed two lanes of traffic, hit the medium and went flying off the road, through someones yard and onto the next street. Before I could even get stopped they were driving away.

My sunburn is still raging....better now from the tanning bed than later during my vacation from the sun, I guess. And having lidocaine available over the counter is a VERY good thing! Ahhhh...
