I'm glad the WWE is starting to remember it's older Wrestlers.
Like that new Steel Cage DVD , That's packed with the old Skool matches.;)
Hogan was originally in the game but when he bailed on the WWE over the summer he was pulled out of the game. Mr. America was also pulled from the game. I was really bummed when Warrior was not included or Bret Hart. I think the reason that they didn't include Warrior is because he owns the right to the Warrior name. He legally changed it and now owns all the rights to that name.
Beside Demolition it would have been cool if they had also included the Nasty Boys. I am hoping that next year they include more Legends because the "Legends of Wrestling" games are not as funa nd the graphics are horrible.

So I went to wrestling yesterday. I had 4th row tickets (on the floor) but my seat was positioned right on the corner, directly infront of the gate where the wrestlers enter. It was great. I got to high five almost all of them. When Spanky was leaving the ring, I started yelling at him, so he through his arm band at my head. I caught it and gave it to my little cousin. Very cool show. I had a blast. One question though. Is Brock Lesner a jerk in real life, or does he just play his role really well? Kurt Angle knocked him out of the ring, and he was holding on the the railing. This guy right in front of me patted him on the back. Not like a slap on the back or anything, but a friendly pat on the back. Lesner stood up and shoved this guy so hard he flew over his seat and landed hard. He stood back up, and the security guards were choking him and dragged him out of the arena. All he did was pat the bastard on the back. I see people do that all the time on TV.

One great part in the Brock/Angle match was when Angle mooned Lesner. They were in there corners having a little pose contest, showing off to each other. Angle took his suit half off, like he does when he's about to kick ass, but instead of stopping, he turned around and mooned Lesner. I don't think it was set up before hand, because lesner had to try really hard to stop himself from laughing. It was hilarious.

Looks Like Rikishi Is on his way out.
From Wrestling wire.net (http://www.wrestlingwire.net/knews/index.php?Show=1230)
Rikishi continues to tell friends that he is very frustrated with his WWE contract negotiations.
Things have gotten so bad that he is starting to consider his options, in particularly NWA TNA.
The problem started several months back when Rikishi scheduled himself to get eye surgery without giving WWE notice in advance. WWE officials got ticked off because he had been booked for house shows which meant they had to change their plans at the last minute.
Paul Heyman on the other hand, has not talked with NWA TNA officials, despite other rumors. It is believed that Heyman has more than two years remaining on his WWE contract. However, there is always a chance that WWE could release him, many think that Vince will hang on to him for the simple fact that he doesn’t want him working for a competitor.

His best Angle was when he was with Too Cool. Since then e as not been able to find himself. It really sucked when he was the one that ran over Austiin. That came out of nowhere and was kinda boring. I hope that he can work a god program whereever he may go.
sniktawt
10-03-2003, 09:55 PM
You're Right, he was mega popular and then they gave him the role of the guy who ran over Austin but it was an awful idea so they sort of changed it to Triple H getting him to do it.
After the awful heel change they tried to get him back with the fans when the Rock made Vince Kiss Rikishi's ass.
The fans could never forgive him and he never got his popularity back.
IamMrDJ
10-03-2003, 11:05 PM
It is weird how some wrestlers who are mega popular and turn heel can still get back there popularity (i.e. Rock, Austin, UNdertaker and Trips). Rikishi is one of the few wrestlers that can only be popular one way and if you try to switch it around they wil no longer be popular. After Too Cool was disbanded with Brian Christopher being fired and Scotty being injured Rikishi was lost in the shuffle. The "Vince kissing his Ass" thing was great, but after that segment I was not interested in him anymore.
I just wonder what wrestler will next to leave the WWE due to bad handling or just not living up to expectaions.
Also RajahWWF.com posted a headline that Kevin Nash is set to be an Assassin going after Goldberg and his title now. Raw is missing a significant big man heel right now to go after Goldberg and they are trying to keep Kane away from him for now atleast. Also Triple H will be pulling a little "Rock type Move" here soon. With his wedding at te end of them month he will be out until about Mid-November then will only be back for a couple weeks and then heads off again (I believe to film his scenes for Balde 3: Trinity)

slinger
10-04-2003, 02:02 AM
Do you think they would give the belt to Nash? Keeping Kane to Royal Rumble will be hard since his push would be stuck and it wouldn't get any bigger since taking out RVD and Shane the world title would be the logical and best thing for him to do. Unless they have Kane go after Evolution.
2dman27
10-04-2003, 05:44 AM
kane vs evolution? sound exciting
sniktawt
10-04-2003, 08:36 AM
Kane is a Heel now so I don't see him going after Evolution anytime soon.
Basically if he went after Evolution he would be only feuding with Orton because Trips is gone for a while.
Orton is being mega pushed so I can see a shot at Goldberg in his future.
IamMrDJ
10-04-2003, 09:37 AM
Nash wanted to go after Goldberg because he was the one that ended Goldberg's streak (jbailey84 your right). I doubt that they will give NAsh te belt they just need a feud for Goldberg to have right now. I realy think they need to trade a wrestler from Smackdown to Raw immediately now. I am thinking maybe even Big Show. Goldberg and Big Show wouldn't be the greatest feud, but it would be one we haven't seen in awhile.
slinger
10-04-2003, 11:07 AM
Well the thing is Evolution is this supposed to be this dominating faction while you have Kane on a rampage. Maybe have Kane get revenge on Batista and Flair. Orton and RVD should feud. Christian and HBK should too.
jbailey84
10-04-2003, 04:05 PM

Taker deserves the belt, in my opinion. (No, snik, not just because he's my favorite. :p) He's basically a figurehead for the WWE- he's been around for ages, the fans love him and he's a hell of a wrestler. I love the American Badass angle but I'd love to see old-school Taker once again.
jbailey84
10-04-2003, 07:30 PM
oh yeah! that would be great to see him go back to the "Deadman" gimmick. man that would be so sweet! if at the Royal Rumble when its his turn to come out, the lights go black, then you hear the deep sound of the bell ring, his old music hits, and out he comes wearing the old school outfit. that would kick ass! but he would look a funny cause we're so use to seeing him look like that with long hair. but it could pass with his short hair
IamMrDJ
10-04-2003, 07:36 PM
I was hoping that when he came back earlier this year that e would be back in the Deadman gimmick. But with the short hair I don't really see it working. If his hair was longer I would love to see a Brothers of Destruction reunion. If he went back to the deadman gimmick he would need the Black w/ Purple Vest and the original hat he use to wear.

The thing is who would Taker face? Big Show? Already was against John Cena. Hopefully they do some trades. Jericho on Smackdown! would be great, if they don't screw it up like they did last year.
Taker should return to the deadman. I'm guessing that's why the fans love him now, bc of his past. Not really his American Badass. Everyone I know wouldn't mind seeing the old Taker.

10-04-2003, 10:18 PM
I agree Rogue , Taker needs one last run as champ and then he can go out with a bang. It's always great to go out on top.
I don't think he has many years left, but he can still go better than most of the older guys, like Flair, , Nash, they all show age when they wrestle.
As for going back to the deadman gimmick, it would never work , he needs the hair.
Stlill can't believe it's been almost 2 years since he cut it.

Also, RajahWWF.com posted an annoucement that Hulk Hogan is close to signing a contract with TNA. Here is the post.
As Rajah reported, Hogan is slated has headlining the 11/30 TNA show. We now know that TNA will present an all out three hour pay-per-view on on that day, which is a Sunday, and will not take place from the Fairgrounds in Nashville. The show will be headlined with Hulk Hogan vs. Jeff Jarrett. Also, it appears that no deal has been finalized, but Hulk Hogan’s lawyer, Henry Holmes, had agreed verbally to terms on Tuesday with Jerry Jarrett. The two sides have been negotiating since 9/12.

Raw was good, in my opinion..that bit about Rosey being stuck in the phone booth was great.
Lita took a brutal hit when Richards shoved her off the ring apron..looked like her neck too the most of the impact on the barrier..hope she's okay.
In other news..

I have said it once before but I am gonna say it again. Shane McMahon is one bad-ass wrestler. He takes some of the biggest bumps I remember seeing and he has a large arsenal of moves. HIs as JR cals it "border-to-border" jump from the top rope is an awesome move. Sahne would make a good hardcore wrestler if he got a little more training.

This was posted on RajahWWF.com this afternoon.
Submitted by Jeremy Bratcher on October 16, 2003 at 5:45 PM
The legendary Stu Hart passed away today at the age of 88. He had been hospitalized in Calgary due to complications of pneumonia, an elbow infection, and a swollen stomach.
Stu Hart was the father of Bret Hart and the late Owen Hart and responsible for training a number of top wrestling stars as well as promoting one of the more famous Canadian wrestling territories, Stampede Wrestling.
His life had been told in the biography Stu Hart: Lord of the Ring by Martha Erb, published in March 2002.
Myself, Rajah, and the staff and visitors of this site would like to pass on it's condolenses to the fans, friends, and family of Stu Hart.
This is truly a sad day. He has trained so many great past and present wrestlers. I would not be surprised to see some kind of tribute this cmoning Monday night on Raw.

Stewart Edward Hart, better known to Canadians and wrestling fans around the world as Stu Hart, passed away at 2:25pm Mountain time from complications due to diabetes and pneumonia. He was 88 years old.
Hart was a legend in Canada and the wrestling world, beginning his career as an amateur champion, and then founding Stampede Wrestling, a Canadian institution, in Western Canada, however Hart was better known by a generation of wrestling fans as the patriarch of the legendary Hart family.
Together with his late wife Helen Hart, who passed away in November 4th 2001 of diabetes at the age of 76, the Harts had 12 children.
The Harts lived to see the passing of two of their children, Dean, who died of kidney failure in 1990, and Owen who died in 1999 during a wrestling stunt gone awry.
Stu Hart was born May 3 1915 in Saskatoon Saskatchewan. He was an amazing amateur wrestler for Canada, and a standout center for the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League. Stu chose to pursue wrestling, and was a professional wrestler for more than 40 years.
In 1948, Hart made the leap from performer to promoter, first in Edmonton, and then moving to Calgary, where he had made some money in real estate, and bought into Calgary's Stampede promotion.
In his later years, Hart would go on to bring wannabe wrestlers, mainly strongmen and football players, down into his dungeon where he would stretch them, and abuse them, often making grown men cry.
Hart was named to the Order of Canada on May 31st 2001 for making an important contribution to the sport of wrestling for more than five decades. The order of Canada website lists Stu's accomplishments as; "As patriarch of Canada's first family of professional wrestling, he has made an important contribution to the sport for more than five decades. Founder of Stampede Wrestling and an icon of the golden era of wrestling, he has been coach and mentor to countless young athletes, imparting the highest standards of athleticism and personal conduct. A generous supporter of community life in Calgary, he is a loyal benefactor to more than thirty charitable and civic organizations including the Shriners' Hospital for Crippled Children and the Alberta Firefighters Toy Fund."
In the years following Owen's death, the family had been bitterly divided, but it was always Stu and Helen who held the family together, serving as a powerful nucleus for what is arguably the most famous wrestling family in the world. TSN.ca/wrestling

Triple H Injured Yet Again
"Triple H pulled his hamstring Friday night during his 'return' tag match with Randy Orton. The injury occurred only a few minutes into the match. He was taken off Saturday nights Providence house show. He did attend the event, but was in the corner of Ric Flair and Randy Orton as they faced Booker T and Goldberg.
From what we have been told, the injury is not that serious but they are not going to rush anything to jeopardize the Survivor Series main event. "

HE was told earlier this year that his body can't gain anymore muscle. That is what causes his injuries most the time. He has too much muscle amss and his skin is so stereched covering those muscles that what may be a small injury to some will be a long lasting and painful injury to him (I.E. his Groin Pull a fewmonths back. It was a small pul but they said because of his size it would take longer for him to heal.).

Just checked Pro Wrestling Torch and they posted an error in the match result for Benoit/A-Train they said he beat him with the crossface but it was a Sharpshooter win , Why they put crossface is anyone's idea .
They did say that the two "fans " that did the run-in were in fact Jimmy Yang and Keiji Sakada, a new tag team in WWE.

That's twice tonight.First time was on the Benoit finish.
They said after Eddie's loss Chavo came out and chewed out Eddie for letting down the family.
That was false, he came out and offered support to Eddie saying, you still had The tag belts, he even did some Face crowd pointing to show Eddie he still has one title left.Eddie seemed disappointed and Chavo was just support.Ther was no chew out.
I don't know what they're watching but Keller was wrong.

Taker went to get the chain at one point and the lights in the building went out for some reason.Taker seemed confused following that.
The Tombstone on the steps sparked some Holy **** chants.
It looked brutal because Brock seemed like he landed wrong. He bounced back though.
Taker gave Brock a chokeslam from the top rope that was sweet.

Why advertise a Chain match and not use a chain ?

Rumor has it that The Rock’s new movie project will be Terminator 4. There have reportedly been meetings to do the movie, despite part 3 being such a box office disappointment, earning about $150 million domestic gross. Arnold Schwarzenegger, California’s governor elect, has ruled out doing movies for the next several years, and when asked, preferred The Rock to do the movie. The talk suggests that the movie would be ready for a summer 2005 release, which means that filming will begin next year.
Another deal has also been finalized for The Rock, to star in a cartoon and live comedy film called “Instant Karma”. He will be playing a safe cracker who dies and is reincarnated as a series of animals. Among The Rock, the cast includes Pierce Brosnan, Mira Sorvina, David Alan Grier and Eartha Kitt as humans and Burt Reynolds, Dom DeLuise and Gene Wilder as animals. This, another New Line project, is budgeted at $70 million and filming will start in New Orleans in April. The Rock, who is being pushed to permanently change his professional name to Dwayne “Rock” Johnson, has another near commitment for the early spring, which makes WrestleMania for him a long shot.
The Rock will be named Best Action Hero in the Spike TV-G.Q. Men of the Year awards, which airs on 10/21.
The part about Arnold preferring the Rock is understandable. For those who have seen you know that Arnold walks by the Rock in the Club and tells him have fun. It seems to me that Arnold might be passing the action torch on to the Rock now.
Also these are three matches already listed for Survivor Series next month.
Survivor Series appears to be having three major matches so far. Triple H verses Bill Goldberg for the World Heavyweight Championship, The Undertaker verses Vince McMahon in a “Buried Alive” Match and Shane McMahon verses Kane.
The Buried Alive match might be pretty good. I could see Stephanie making her return to TV on this night after getting back from her honeymoon. I can't wait till Nov. 16th to see this PPV.

“I may be done,” are the words that came out of former WWE Champion Kevin Nash’s mouth last night backstage at RAW while visiting with friends. He told the editors of the official WWE website that he is miserable, while suffering with an injury right above his collar bone that is causing a non-stop burning sensation.
Kevin Nash’s poor physical condition is due to many years of wear and tear in the ring. One doctor told him that his neck is in worse shape than Steve Austin’s, who is said to have the worst neck of anyone.
Nash will undergo the same neck surgery that Kurt Angle had a week from tomorrow by Dr. Hae-Dong Jho in Pittsburgh. Besides Angle, Nash’s good friend Scott Hall had the surgery as well as “Brooklyn Brawler” Steve Lombardi.
Kevin Nash has not wrestled since SummerSlam and has been finishing doing work on a feature film, “The Punisher,” starring Thomas Jane, John Travolta and Rebecca Romijn-Stamos. After the surgery, Nash will see how he feels and will probably be able to make a decision on his in-ring future.
This may be the main reason that Batista made his return last night. I am not upset with that decision though. He looked awesome. I can't wait till next week and try his character out on the new SmackDown! videogame.

Well this posted on RajahWWF.com late last night. It looks like Hogan future in NWA is in jeporady now.
Submitted by Henry Walk on October 21, 2003 at 11:51 PM
For the past couple of weeks we have been reporting how NWA-TNA was gearing up for a big 3 hour pay-per-view on November 30th. The show was scheduled to be headlined by Hulk Hogan verses Jeff Jarrett. There were also rumors of bringing in Bobby “The Brain” Heenan as the special guest referee. Well, that has all fallen through, at least for the time being.
NWA-TNA officials announced this afternoon that the show was cancelled due to an injury suffered to Hulk Hogan during his match on 10/13 against Masahiro Chono in Japan. Hogan aggravated his knee, but felt all would be well by the show. It was discovered earlier today that Hogan’s surgery had to be scheduled on 11/31, which caused the show to be postponed.
The agreement between Hogan and TNA is reportedly still intact, despite the show being cancelled at the current time. It is not confirmed, but we do expect TNA to put the show back on sometime this year.
I seriously don't know if he can come back after having Surgery again. I'm sorry but he is just getting too old to pull off some of his clasic moves. Now I know that Ric Falir is also up there in age but he does not always wrestle that much and I don't know why but he seems to be in better shape then Hogan

I doubt he will. Look at his past comeback when he was supposed to be better shape. Didn't he lose all his big matches and he wasn't over with the fans for the HIAC match. If his neck is worse than Austin's he could do one more WrestleMania match, but depends if the guys wants to risk it and suffer more.

The king of the richest has recently died and his son and heir will have a new bride selected for him from amongst the princesses by Shira (Rena Mero), the high priestess. Slaves of the Realm
If Slaves of the Realm sounds just a little bit like porn, that's because it is. Just a little bit.
You might consider as well its original title: Chained Sinners: Medieval Fleshpots. I expect that clears up a lot of the confusion.
Rena Mero (aka "Sable" from the WWE) stars as the only chick who doesn't get naked in this medieval romp through virgin sacrifices and slave labor. In fact she's the only English-speaker, at least among the women in the cast. The rest of the cast are Czech "actresses" (for lack of a better word), all of whom were hired for their dimensions, not their ability to emote. (Not that I can say anything better about Sable.)
The story (again, for lack of a better word) concerns a dead king, his son, his son's search for a wife, and all those potential wives being forced to be rock-mining slaves in the tiniest of outfits. They also have to submit to a lot of bodily inspections, girl-on-girl massages, and other indignities that make but a minimum of sense. That could be in part because my cat vomited on me during the film, and in the confusion I failed to hit the pause button while I (a) screamed and (b) cleaned up, but honestly I doubt it. This is a skin flick, pure and simple. It should appeal especially well to those who are really into medieval lesbians.
Then again, who isn't?

NWA-TNA cancelling a whole PPV because one guy who really isn't that much of an attraction anymore to begin with is very bad business for the company.
I like NWA TNA and for the past 3 weeks they hyped this show big time, now it's cancelled because Hogan is Injured.
Pathetic.
That's llike cancelling a whole Football game because your star Quarterback is hurt.
It don't happen.
Imagine the backstage moral over there now.How would that make them feel seeing a PPV get cancelled because one guy won't be there.
How much respect does that show the other guys .Where's the faith in the other wrestlers.
Sure he was a draw but they'll still get buy rates.
They could have gotten Sting to return.
Can they not handle a Sunday PPV, they seemed to do fine without Hogan now PPV'S are being cancelled because an over the hill wrestler who's time was up in 1992 IMO couldn't show ?
Very bad business decision.IMO.

A ecidion like this shows absolutely no respect for all the other wrestlers in NWA TNA. Management seems to be telling them that they are ok wrestlers but not good enough to put on a three hour PPV w/o a big name wrestler. I was planning on ordering this PPV because it sounded like it was going to be awesome, but not now. This is a huge reason why NWA TNA will never be to the level that WWE is. They don't have the confidence in there product as a whole. People say that Vince makes a bad business decisons but he has never made one this bad.
I like Snik's comparison to cancelling a footbal game because your starting QB is out. Well if that was the case in Pro Sports then the Broncos wouldn't be playing football for atleast a month now that our starting QB, Back-Up QB and even possibly our 3rd String QB might be out tomorrow.

the ministry was a little weird also when they joined the Corporation. That whole alliance was weird especialy when Vince became the higher being. I remember rumors were going around that it was Mike Tyson. I was really hoping for Tyson. It seemed that after Vince was revealed al the fighting stables came together and formed one big stable. It got a little boring at that point because it was Austin against everyone it seemed.

Looks like we will be having two old skool Survivor Series matces this year. Form the Raw side we got Austin vs. Bischoff and now on Smackdown we have Angle vs. Brock. So far Angle's team is him, Benoit and APA against Brock's team of Brock, Big Show, Orlando Jordan and Matt Morgan. Jordana nd Morgan seem like cheesy members but that is just my opinion. Each team needs one more member and Cena might be one of them but not sure which team yet. At Smackdown tapings last night he hinted at turning Face
I am glad to see that WWE is giving us a couple of the old 'skool matches.Hopefully next year we might get a coupe more of them. I think it would be really cool if these Survivor Series matches were inside of the Elimination Chamber.

Breaking News!: Jeff Hardy Backstage at RAW
Jeff Hardy was backstage at Raw on Monday.
From what we have been told, Jeff was simply visiting friends at the show.
We are trying to get more details but right now, he was just there on a special visit.
