whoa whoa, so wait his contract expired, hes not in WWE no more? so why they keep using him as one of the superstars Orton put out? man TNA could be a big contender now for WWE. I watch TNA every once in a while, but when i do i got to be honest it impresses me a lot, there are some really cool wrestlers there.
HBK though, he is coming back right?
jbailey84

And by the way, picture this match:

Lashley will be back during the winter time. He is recuperating from surgery. It has also been reported that he has lost some of his size. But I agree that he needs to work on his mic skills. The Tuesday after he won the championship, he did the worst promo ever.

John Cena Out 6 To 8 Months Due To Right Pectoral Tendon Tear
WWE Champion John Cena suffered a complete right pectoral tendon tear Monday night on Raw. Surgery is required. As a result, Cena will be out of action for 6-8 months. The injury is so severe that they're not allowing him to compete in his scheduled championship match with Randy Orton next Sunday at No Mercy. He will have no choice but to forfeit the title. Here is WWE's official statement regarding the matter:
Cena out with pec tear, must surrender WWE Championship
Written: October 2, 2007
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – WWE Champion John Cena has suffered a complete tear of his right pectoral tendon and is heading into surgery, according to noted orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews. Because of the seriousness of the injury, WWE officials will not allow Cena to compete this Sunday at No Mercy, and he will have no choice but to surrender the title.
Dr. Andrews said Cena could miss between six and eight months of action. Cena was injured during his match Monday night on Raw with Mr. Kennedy. Before visiting Dr. Andrews, Cena had said, “No matter how serious, the injury, one way or another I’ll be ready to compete on Sunday.”
But despite Cena’s vow, WWE officials will not allow him to compete at No Mercy. Therefore, he must surrender the WWE Championship.
WWE officials vow that there will be a WWE Championship Match this Sunday at No Mercy and a new WWE Champion will be crowned.
Stay with WWE.com for further updates on Cena’s condition and on No Mercy as they become available.

They should have a fatal four way match for the title since John is gone.
Orton vs. Kennedy vs. HHH vs. Chris Jericho (That's only if he is truly returning this Sunday). If not, then the last guy could be Umaga. And I know that HHH and Umaga are fighting each other, but maybe they could do this. If not, then do what jbailey suggested: Orton vs. Kennedy. Or a triple threat with Jericho.

a fatal 4 way is a good idea Starwars411 (Orton/Mr.K/HHH/Umaga).

10-04-2007, 01:10 AM
I was sorry to see that Cena got hurt. I replayed the match and tried to pinpoint exactly where he got hurt, but I couldn't see it. He has been so durable while many of the other top wrestlers have gotten hurt while he has been healthy, but not anymore. They should do a spot where Coachman or somebody comes out to award Orton the title since he's the #1 contender, but then have Kennedy or HHH come out to challenge him. Maybe HHH could pull a double duty. I doubt Jericho is in in-ring shape right now.
jbailey84
10-04-2007, 12:56 PM
i know Vince made the vacant title announcement on ECW. i do like the challenge idea.

man Cena losing the title got me sad man, over a year fighting everyone that steped up, even when Taker MIGHT challenge him at wrestlemania he was willing to do it. that sucks and for a year! damn.
this weekend we know Orton will be on it. HHH and Umaga wont, the days when a wrestler had two or three matches a night are gone. either someone coming back(Jericho, HBK, RVD are having a title shot) or MAYBE Kennedy will fight for it.

this is interesting, from rajah.com
Last night at No Mercy, many of us were expecting to see the culmination of the "SAVE_US.222" and "SAVIOR_SELF" video clips. Instead, we got was another new video with more new clues.
The main phrase seen in the third video was "REV_22_12".
The previous videos have been biblical in nature, so there's a strong possibility that "REV_22_12" could correspond with the bible passage 22:12 from the book of Revelations. That passage states:
"And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be."
The phrase "Second_Coming" could be seen in the video as well. At this point, the meaning of these video clips remains unknown. Hopefully within a few week's we will find out if the videos are promoting the returns of Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels, Edge or something completely unexpected.

i wouldnt mind any of them fighting Orton, but I want HBK to fight him, how cool would it be that the man he thought he put out, comes back in and takes the Championship from him.
The referee for Batista vs Undertaker doesnt really matter who it is, they really didnt give good options, JBL.... from commentator to referee? Mick Foley, where does he pop in this equation? Where has he even been? And Stone Cold, normally I would choose him, but it seems lately thats all he does, referees matches. At Wrestlemania XX he refereed for Goldberg vs Lesnar, just now at the last Wrestlemania he refereed for Vince and Trump, it seems thats what he should do for WWE now.

If ever JR and King retire from Raw they should do a Coach/Austin commentary.

10-24-2007, 01:04 PM
There was an incident involving Undertaker and Chris Masters during a Taker & Kane vs. Finlay & Masters match last week at a house show in Scotland.
It all started when Taker started working over Masters' arm early in the match. Masters tagged out and just stood there on the apron without selling the pain. On the other side of the ring, Taker was gesturing to Masters as if to say, "Sell your arm, dumbass." Masters still wasn't doing anything, and then Taker actually yelled it across the ring. Masters sold a bit and then apparently forgot again.
Masters was tagged back into the match, and apparently Undertaker roughed him up, blooding and perhaps breaking his nose. Masters then started having trouble breathing and got completely blown up. He finally rolled out of the ring and sold like he'd hurt his arm legit. As it turns out, Masters actually dislocated his elbow at some point.
Some guys came out and took Masters to the back. Finlay finished the rest of the match alone. That was the last time Masters wrestled on the tour. Also, a photo of Masters wearing a sling on his arm turned up online, so his injury was serious.
dont mess with the vet, specially The Undertaker

I hate that. I hate when some of the wrestlers dont put up a good show just because is not an important show. Taker obviously tried to put the best match possible for the audience and Master just didnt care. Ive noticed he doesnt really put up good matches or try to to get good roles. I mean he used to be in important matches, fighting top quality superstars, he even was in an Elimination Chamber Match. Now I barely see him in Smackdown

A good show to go to tonight. Better than the last one I went to. A good way to start off with Batista and the Undertaker. After the main event Umauga's team got back in the ring and there was a brawl. Mysterio ended up 619'ing all 5 men as they were stacked up on the ropes. Rey tossed Finlay out of the ring and the other 4 men did their finishers on MVP, Umauga, Big Daddy V, and Kennedy. Finlay came back into the ring and got 5 different finishers delivered to him.
Oh and Jericho is definately coming back next week.

The part where Rey 619'd all 5 men was kind of funny because the wrestlers that were on the top flew back first, then the wrestlers on the bottom. Kind of goofy looking.

A fight broke out backstage last night in Wichita, Kansas after SmackDown! was taped. After the show was over, JBL gathered a number of WWE superstars together, including John Morrison, The Miz, MVP, CM Punk, and Matt Hardy.
JBL berated Miz and Morrison for their color commentary work on ECW. JBL was furious that the two made Punk look bad with their commentary. They were heels and were supposed to criticize Punk in a heel way, but JBL felt they went too far with it. JBL then yelled at them for their ring work during their match with MVP & Matt Hardy. JBL told Miz & Morrizon to apologize to Punk, MVP & Hardy for making all 3 of them look bad.
The Miz apologized, but Morrison told JBL “F*** you, it's none of your business”. He then said he would appoligize to Punk, Hardy & MVP, but not because JBL told him to.
The confronation went back and forth until Morrison shoved JBL. Several agents broke up the dispute before it got further than a shove.
looks like maybe Morrison will be in the dog house ?

I have a feeling that both Morrison and Miz will be in the dog house. Unlike other backstage confrontations that have happened in the past when 2 wrestlers argue over how a match went JBL confronted these 2 because of their unprofessional remarks during the commentary and in the ring as well. Morrison needs to realize that if he wants to be champ again he needs to straighten up and bring his ego back down to size.

Yeah Booker T first appeared on their PPV the other night. This is just another example of TNA going after Talent with their best days behind them and not pushing their homegrown talent. I have made this comparison to some friends before but TNA is like the Yankees over the past few years. They chuck out the money to draw in the former talent from WCW and WWE to build up heir name but they seem to forget about the wrestlers that have been with the company for a long time and have been working their way up. Looking at the top Roster spots in TNA right now there are only a few original TNA restlers that are making moving up. They are AJ Styles (who has actually been downgraded from a couple years ago), Abyss (who has seen his name dwindle in the company the last year or so) and Jay Lethal (who is using a gimmick made popular in the WWE in the 80's).
A lot of former WWE guys go to TNA because of the lighter travel schedule but for a lot of them they just don't want to quit wrestling becuase they have nothing else to fall back on. I mean how many times have we seen an NWO reunion and now tey are back in TNA. I give it a few more weeks and Sean Waltman (X-Pac) appears in a TNA ring. Maybe he will help make the save in a few weeks during the next PPV.
Booker T was almost a shoe-in for TNA because he still thinks he has a few more years in him, which is funny in a way. Before he signed his last contract with WWE Booker T was considering retirement because he did not think he could give 100% again, but he did re-sign. After his suspension a couple months back things went from bad to worse in WWE for Booker T. He was already upset that he had to fight Triple H at SummerSlam instead of Jerry Lawler. Sharmell has said in numerous interviews that she is not a big fan of wrestling but I guess where there is money there will be Sharmell.
Ok that was a long post. Sorry if it bored some of you to death but I just wanted to get it out.

Not at all, it is very true.
The biggest waste of talent I see there is AJ cuz he is very very talented and they have him being Angle's lacky.
This dude Kaz, he is very good too, I wouldnt mind seeing more of him.
The thing with Booker, I dont mind seeing him wrestle a bit more, but what gets me, which is what you said, that he supposebly couldnt go at it anymore and he did, for another company, which is a very good one, but I mean he was in WWE for so long, and he pushed to end his contract until WWE let him go. I read on his Myspace that he decided to quit so he could dedicate himself to his wrestling school which is what takes me for surprise.
Well going to see Survivor Series tomorrow. Man its going to be crazy. Ill post some pics when I can

He was really mad when WWE decided to go with a Florida Developmental Wrestling School instead of his own one. He was sure they would go with his school since a bunch of WWE guys had made an appearance there. He thought it was a slap in the face and from there on his relationship with WWE was on thin Ice.
Now word around WWE is that Carlito could be granted his release in the next week or so. He has been upset with his role lately and been asking for his release. He was squashed on this weeks Heat by Snitsky is about 3 minutes. I will be bummed if he is let go because I thought he had great talent. But a lot of stuff that I have read says he does not make a great effort in his matches and does not take well to critiques from other wrestlers and management.

It looks like Matt Hardy will be out for the rest of this year and up until at least the Royal Rumble. This past Sunday Matt Hardy did not wrestle on the PPV because of "injuries". However, h was just selling the "injuries" he got earlier in the week. The storyline of him being injured was suppose o continue this week. Well all of those plans were scrapped when he was admitted to the hospital yesterday for a ruptured appendix. He had the appendectomy last night and will now be out for 8-10 weeks most likely.
This is another Blow for Smackdown who looked like they were just getting back in the swing of things with Edge returning. It will be interesting to see what they do with the Tag titles and whom MVP might start another feud with.

Survivor Series was much too short, the last two matches (Championship matches) made them the longest, which is good, but they didnt do that with the rest. The Survivor Team match, was too short, and they can make that match much longer. ECW Championship match did not last more than 8 minutes.
HBK vs Orton was awsome, pure technical prowess, and when he did the crossface and ankle lock i went bananas on my seat.
That hell in a cell was crazy too, Taker was a second from being champion and edge comes out. how did he get in? supposebly he was a 'camara' man. but man i would have noticed him, as well as Undertaker. i mean a six foot something man with long blonde hair, f***.
The jericho thing coming back, its cool he came back but i really didnt get excited, cuz well, we've known for months

Report: Hulk Hogan's wife seeks divorce Sat Nov 24, 7:15 AM ET
CLEARWATER, Fla. (AP) — Linda Hogan has filed for divorce from her wrestler husband Hulk Hogan, a newspaper reported Friday.
Hulk Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, told the St. Petersburg Times that he had no idea his wife had filed for divorce. He was informed by a reporter that Pinellas County court records showed that the paperwork was submitted Tuesday.
"Thank you for the great information," he told the reporter.
Family spokesman Adam Handelsman referred calls to another spokesman, who did not immediately respond Friday night.
"My wife has been in California for about three weeks. ... Holy smokes," Bollea later told the newspaper. "Wow, you just knocked the bottom out of me."
The couple star in the VH1 reality TV series "Hogan Knows Best," with their two children. Recent episodes show the normally close couple attending marital counseling, but they eventually reconcile.
On Nov. 7, Hogan's son, 17-year-old Nick Bollea, was arrested on reckless-driving charges after a car crash. Clearwater police said Bollea crashed his 1998 Toyota Supra on Aug. 26 while street racing against a silver Dodge Viper driven by a friend. A report said Bollea was driving faster than 60 mph in a 40 mph zone.
Bollea's passenger, John Graziano, was not wearing a seat belt and was critically injured. Bollea, who was wearing a seat belt, was not seriously injured.
The Hogans moved to a $12 million bayfront estate on Miami Beach in 2006 so their children, Brooke and Nick, could pursue singing and acting careers. They had previously lived in Clearwater, near Tampa.

So I guess this means no chance of a new Hogan Knows Best Season. I am not surprised by this really. What I had read lately said that Hulk and Linda had been arguing over Nick and his accident. They have not been photographed together as a family lately either. Hulk will be keeping himself busy though for a while anyway with the filming of the new season of American Gladiators.
I am wondering if there was a Pre-Nup when they got married or what because he sure has made some bank on his name since they got married.

It also had to do with the Road Schedule he would have to work. TNA was really enticing because it is more locally setup and produced. Sting was pinned cleanly at the last PPV in case it was his last televised TNA event.
He was a great wrestler back in WCW but I thought that TNA underused him and mainly brought him in to bump ratings for awhile but when another big name star became available he was pushed aside.

dont know if any of you have seen this. it's a Tribute to the Wrestlers that have died in the past 10 years.
This tribute video was made to commemorate 29 wrestlers under 50 who have died in the past 10 years. The video contains details of the dates and causes of death in each case, as well as the person's age and career accomplishments.
Chris Benoit is included in this video simply because he died. The tribute is not honouring his final acts, but his wrestling career, and he died while being an active wrestler under 50, so he's included.

I wish that the Rock was returning next week but I read this tonight when I got home from work. it comes from The Wrestling Observer.
-- WWE asked Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson to appear at next Monday's show. He turned down the invite. The Rock's image is featured in a promotional banner online promoting next Monday's show. He's actually the only wrestler featured on the banner.
I too cannot believe that Raw has been on for 15 years. They are releasing a DVD set at the end of this year recapping the 15 years of Raw. I am looking forward to that DVD and hope that they fill it with some of the best segments from Raw history. I always go back to the mocking skits with DX and the Nation of Domination. - As previously posted, the winner of the Jeff Hardy vs. Triple H match at WWE's Armageddon pay-per-view will get a WWE Title shot at the Royal Rumble in January. As things are planned now, Triple H will likely win the WWE Title from Randy Orton, probably at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. If plans stay the same, then Triple H will be going over Hardy at Armageddon this month and Orton will likely regain the WWE Title over Chris Jericho.
The current plan after that is for Triple H to wrestle Batista at WrestleMania 24 in Orlando. There is major talk within WWE of doing this match at WrestleMania instead of the previously planned Orton vs. HHH match.
It's unknown right now if Batista will be winning the Royal Rumble, but it makes sense because the winner can face any brand's Champion at WM 24. Seeing how Batista is on SmackDown and HHH on RAW right now, Batista would pretty much have to win the Rumble to face HHH at WrestleMania because of the rules of the upcoming Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out, that will only feature wrestlers from the same brand. The other brand's Champion will have six superstars from his brand face off in the Elimination Chamber match with the winner getting the other World Title shot at WrestleMania. It looks like that match will be a SmackDown brand match.
It looks like Batista will lose his title sometime soon as there's no way WWE will have a Title vs. Title unification match at WrestleMania. Edge will likely be the one to take the strap from Batista. It makes sense for The Undertaker to win the Elimination Chamber match and face Edge at WrestleMania in a huge match, with the title and the winning streak on the line.

I would like to see Kennedy in the Main event at Mania but I am not sure if it will happen this year. Had he not been suspended and been dropped from the McMahon Son angle then I think he could have made it to the Main Event. But I have a feeling he will have a good shot at it for the 2009 Mania. From there I think he will be at the top for quite a few years. He reminds me a bit of Cena. They both worked their ways up from the bottom. His trip up hit a snag but he is now back on track and will be at the top soon.

I would love to see Edge and Taker go at it at mania especially in the Cell since from what I saw of it the Taker/Batista Cell match was not as good as past ones. I just wonder how they will write the end of the match though. Break Taker's historic run at Mania at most likely his last one or end the run of a star that will be around for a years to come.
I guess it will end up with who wins the Rumble and who they want to face. I find it funny how with the new rules of the Rumble the Champion the is challenged his brand faces off to face the other champion. In all the articles about it they only mention Raw and SmackDown. It seems not even WWE officials consider the ECW a real championship belt.

I want Taker to win the upcoming match against Edge and Batista and become World Champion and feud with Edge up to Wrestlemania.
I dont really care wether HHH or Hardy wins, they both should wrestle for the WWE Title, so at Armaggedon Jericho would lose, at the Royal Rumble it would be Orton vs HHH/Hardy. Then have Jericho win the Rumble, and face Orton at Wrestlemania, with whoever is the one that loses at Royal Rumble, HHH/Hardy.
So Im thinking Orton vs Jericho vs HHH/Hardy for the WWE Title at Wrestlemania

Honestly, I couldn't see Jeff Hardy ever carrying the title. I know he's a good wrestler and all. He just doesn't bring the attitude in my book, or the charisma to be champ. Thats just my opinion though. I like to see him wrestle, but I wouldn't want him as a champ.
ChaCho
12-06-2007, 11:59 PM
I used to think that before, but the thing about him he can really carry a feud, a role, a match. He's very exciting when it comes to watching him wrestle, he comes up with new moves every once in a while. I would really like him chasing the WWE Championship. He could put off a great match at Wrestlemania for it, maybe even a Ladder's Match
IamMrDJ
12-07-2007, 09:33 AM
I have to agree with Zombie. I cannot see Jeff Hardy carrying the World Title mainly because of his dependability. Now I know it seems that Jeff has gotten his act together lately and seems to be better then he has in the past but there is still that chance. TNA had thought that Scott Hall had finally cleaned up his act because he had been working without problems in Puerto Rico and then he calls in with "food Poisoning" shortly before the main event at this past Sunday's PPV.
Now I do not think that this should hold Jeff back forever in the WWE because yes people can change but I also think that even if Vince decided to go with more of the smaller size champions instead of the big muscle-bound ones that Jeff still would not fit the mold. Jeff is still too high flying and a risk taker in the ring. I think Vince is a bit timid to put the belt on a guy that takes such risks in the ring each week. If Jeff were to get injured then that would be yet another name to add to the "injured while champion" list, and Jeff is at more risk then a bunch of other guys in the ring it keep their feet on the mat all the time.

who knows, maybe Jeff wont be such a risk taker if he were champ. maybe he'd be more of a HBK risk taker.

That is possible but before HBK ever became World Champ he changed his High risk ways. If Jeff works on changing they way he takes risks there is a possibility for him, but he has always been known as a Super Risk Taker. Shawn was known for more then his High-Risk moves before he began to evolve.

Also, if this were the olden days of wrestling. (Harley Race, Briscoes, etc.) Then Hardy might be "ok" as for mic work. Because those guys weren't really into that, and the business hadn't evolved to that point just yet. Plus, you didn't have to be a certain size, it wasn't all muscle bound guys. It was guys who went out there, wrestled, got the job done, and left the building. But these days, Hardy couldn't make it. He's not a big muscled up freak, and he is crap on the mic! Haha, sadly enough...Though, DJ is right too, he is at high risk of getting injured. I love the guy to death as a wrestler. I love watching him. I guess I wouldn't mind seeing him chase the title, but I really don't want to see him win it. Thats too risky in a lot of ways, unless they are gonna go old school. Because, he's not gonna get on that mic and carry a steady feud. I don't know how Lashley ever got where he has been. The dude sounds like Michael Jackson when he talks, and thats sad too. ;)

My friends and I have said the same thing about his voice. I think he got to where he was because of his size. Vince sees size before anything else even in ring skills. My biggest examples to that are Giant Gonzalez and Great Khali. Both guys are huge but cannot wrestle out of a paper bag.

Haha, very true!!! I HATE WATCHING KHALI...He's so freaking annoying. Sure, he's intimidating and all, but your right, he couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag. I doubt he'd hurt a fly even. As for Lashley, yeah he's big, but he is a pretty crappy wrestler. Of course, Vince probably favors him too because Lashley was in the armed forces and pretty high up, from what I understand. Since Vince favors our military so much. I never liked watching Goldturd (Goldberg) either. He was interesting at first, but I don't think he deserved a championship so much. His matches bored me...

Goldberg was never a good wrestler in my mind. WCW just came up with a gimmick and ran with it. the gimmick worked and then WCW decided to change their mind on it and in a flash he was losing to people every other week. I never liked him in the WWE and I think it was a waste to bring him in. Goldberg provided what I think to date is still the most boring WrestleMania match wrestling wise in history. During the Goldberg/Lesner match I was actually cleaning dishes in my kitchen because I was going to fall asleep otherwise.
I have met Lashley before once when he was at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs and he is a really nice and friendly guy. I think he just needs some more in the ring and also a manager to do his talking for him. When I see Bobby I always think that Jimmy Hart or Bobby Heenan would have been perfect managers for Lashley back in the day.

I just read this article over on Rajah about last night's Impact and I think it goes to show how little TNA really knows about creative writing and continuity.
Richard Reacts - TNA Creative Drops The Ball With Mistake Filled Episode Of iMPACT
Submitted by Richard Gray on December 7, 2007
I can live with a lot of things. Wrestlers no-showing promised appearances, a match that does not live up to expectations, etc; however, one thing in professional wrestling that really gripes me is storylines not making logical sense. Last night’s edition of TNA iMPACT had so many flaws in the booking I felt the only way to clear my frustration was to write about it. The company made so many errors last night I wondered if anyone on the creative team or in upper management is following their own product. This is not intended to be a complete show review but is intended to highlight what I felt like were major mistakes made by TNA Wrestling during last night’s airing of iMPACT.
The show opened with the briefcase winners from the “Feast or Fired” match from Turning Point arriving at iMPACT with their cases. However, the cases ended up in the possession of Jim Cornette where he instructed Matt Morgan to “guard” them. When Morgan let the winners of the cases re-claim possession of them throughout the show, Cornette got pissed off and proclaimed that they are going to end up revealing the contents. First off all it would be nice if they would reveal the contents since I’ve already paid $30 to find out what is in the damn things, but if the wrestlers arrived at the arena with the cases that would mean they have been in possession of them for more three days. If they couldn’t open them earlier in the week, then why is Cornette upset about them having them at the show now? Why did I pay to see this match on PPV when I’ve had to wait until iMPACT and still don’t know what is them? Was Cornette not watching the show earlier when all of the winners arrived with the cases?
TNA actually held a ladder match between Black Machismo Jay Lethal and The Motor City Machine Guns vs. Johnny Devine and Team 3D to see who got possession of the X Division Title. What the %@$%? Jay Lethal is your X DIVISION CHAMPION! He does not have the belt because it was stolen from him. Why does he have to work a match to get a belt that is his back? This made no sense what-so-ever to me. If they wanted to have a ladder match for the X Division title, then have a ladder match for the X Division title. If they want to continue to play up the fact that Team 3D stole the belt, then play up the storyline. But to have a match to see who gets possession of the championship is ridiculous. There are not even words to describe how frustrated this makes me. How is TNA management going sanction a match to see who gets the possession of a stolen belt? Another storyline that makes no logical sense!
The company tried to play off an extremely good Gail Kim vs. Awesome Kong match at Turning Point by booking Gail Kim against ODB on last night’s iMPACT. However, they booked it in a way that made no logical sense. TNA had ODB hit Gail Kim with her flask when the referee wasn’t looking, giving ODB the pinfall in the nontitle match. I understood that part but the trick came when Awesome Kong came out and started to beat up on Gail Kim. Kim was already knocked out so why was Kong sent out to further destroy her? Shouldn’t the company have booked their Knockouts Champion over ODB only to have Awesome Kong come out and destroy her while she was celebrating?
The last thing that TNA did on this week’s episode of iMPACT that really got on my nerves was the way that they aligned Samoa Joe, Kevin Nash, Kaz, Booker T, and Eric Young. This made for a good 10 man tag team main event, however, on Turning Point Nash got so mad at Joe that he didn’t even celebrate with him or Young and even refused to sell his spots. On this week’s edition of iMPACT they made it look like Kevin Nash and Samoa Joe were now boyfriends! None of what happened at Turning Point was explained and we were led on to believe that everything is fine between Joe and Nash. Samoa Joe cut such a dramatic promo that it cut the lackluster main event short at Turning Point and TNA did nothing what-so-ever to follow up on it. Why did they waste all of the PPV time with the promo if they weren’t going to play it up? Joe might have gotten carried away but the fact is that he said it and you must play that up! To forget about it makes me feel like I wasted my $30 to hear it in the first place! Talking on a PPV is generally a no-no but when it happens, it better be for a damn good explanation!
I don’t know who it is messing all of this up in TNA, but someone needs to show them the Turning Point pay-per-view and this week’s edition of iMPACT. There was no correlation, no fallout, and several storylines that did not make logical sense. I’m out $30 (as is anyone that ordered Turning Point) and not only did we get two significant no-shows at Turning Point but we still do not know who won the Feast or Fired bout. The company better get their act together because it is stuff like this that is going to chase loyal fans away. We as fans are not stupid and do not deserve to be treated like idiots. Last night’s show seemed like it was booked by someone that had never followed the TNA product.

As Daniel reported earlier today, Puerto Rican wrestling web site PRWrestling.com broke news that Carlito would in fact be staying with WWE. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has confirmed the report as Carlito met with Vince McMahon at this past Monday's RAW in Charleston, South Carolina where McMahon was able to talk him into remaining with the company. After the meeting, Carlito rescinded his release which he had asked for several weeks earlier.
Despite Carlito being unhappy in the company for several months, WWE decided they did not want to lose him and risk the chance of him ending up in TNA. This could be one of the reasons why Carlito was booked in an Intercontinental Championship ladder match against Jeff Hardy on Monday's 15 Anniversary RAW show.
cool. im glad to see Carlito stay. hope he wins monday :D

^They need to use him well, he is a very good wrestler who used well proves he's a quality superstar.
I like Lashley, he's very impressive. Agreed he needs to improve his mic skills.
I also liked Goldberg, he had some stale moments, but he made some very good matches and moments. Most obviously this does not include his Wrestlemania match with Lesnar, which did suck a lot. But he fought in an Elimination Chamber Match which was very very good. When he first appeared against The Rock was awsome too.
I still believe Jeff Hardy can hold his own with a WWE Champion role. I just do. As well as someone like Kennedy or heck even MVP. They need to push these young wrestlers to big roles, it is very obvious to all that HHH, HBK, Taker, Kane will not be here forever, man even Jericho.

So I finally came across the Match and Chapter listing for the upcoming 15th Anniversary Raw 3-Disc DVD. After reading through it all I just have one thing to say "THANK YOU". WWE has put together one of the best compiled DVD's I have ever seen and I own a ton of their DVD's. This DVD set has got just about everything I could hope for. This will be a DVD I buy on Day 1. I might have to sneak out for a long lunch at work to go pick it up.

All that I can say right now, is that I'm glad that Carlito is staying with the WWE for awhile longer. He needs to step it up in the ring, and try some new stuff. DEFINITELY needs a new angle or something. He could be a top talent again.

Raw was definitely good tonight. Although, I am VERY unhappy to see Cade and Murdoch lose the titles to Hardcore Holly and Cody Rhodes. More like, from Cody Rhodes. I like Holly and he's deserving, but come on, Rhodes can't wrestle worth a dog ****! He is very un-charismatic, and just, yeah I'm disgusted by this. Cade and Murdoch are by far the furthest from the best talent and charisma, or whatever else. But, they are more deserving in my eyes. Not just because Trevor is my buddy (which does make it more fun for me to watch them!). I would be frustrated as hell to drop the title to Rhodes. Thats just my personal opinion though. The tag team division slides down the drain further...

^Lol. You have to admit it though since Rhodes started at RAW he has improved. When the match started I was surprised because Holly and Rhodes just challenged for it. You can bet he got the win because of Dusty, he must have influence on WWE.
I loved the ending, Vince getting the Claw, the Chockeslam, the Stunner and then getting kicked out the ring while the Superstars were there. Memorable.

I also knew that Trevor and Lance would lose when I saw who the referee was. It was John Cone, from World League Wrestling (Harley Race's bunch). See, when I was with WLW, Trevor and John were as well and they were good friends. John came to WWE about a year ago as a referee. I've never seen him ref one of Trevor's matches in WWE, so when I saw him last night, I figured Cade and Murdoch were dropping the belts and John probably wanted to referee it.

If you owned World Wrestling Entertainment, and could choose to bring up a wrestler in rankings, with a nice, new angle. Who would it be? Here's my choices...
RAW BRAND
WWE Champion: Chris Jericho (Hopefully it does happen, I think its a wise choice. If not Jericho, then I would give the strap to Kennedy. Personally I would feud Kennedy and Jericho for the title.)
Intercontinental Champion: Val Venis (You heard me right. I would love to see him re-new his character. Not so much "porn star", but more like just a perv gimmick as his usual. I would feud him against Carlito for the title for awhile. I think it would make for a nice feud, with some excellent wrestling matches.)
Women's Champion: Beth Phoenix (I think they have it on the right girl. Mickie James and Phoenix should be the main focus. As they are the top two female talents in my eyes. The rest suck, in my opinion. Usually I could care less about the women's title, but Mickie James always makes a nice match.)
World Tag Team Champions: APA (Yup, I'd reunite them for good and let them run with the titles. Keep it away from Rhodes and Holly for sure. What a terrible team!!! I would feud the APA with Cade and Murdoch.)
SMACKDOWN BRAND
World Heavyweight Champion: Finlay (Is he on Smackdown or Raw? I haven't gotten to watch much lately. I've recently been catching wrestling again. I would personally feud Batista and Finlay for the title.)
U.S. Champion: Edge (I would totally feud Edge with Rey Mysterio for the U.S. title. That could make for an interesting feud and some great title match-ups!!!)
WWE Tag Team Champions: Kane and The Undertaker (Yup, its been done before. But, I would stick them up against Kenny Dykstra and Montel Vontavious Porter. I don't know, just trying to be creative here.)
ECW BRAND
ECW Champion: CM Punk (I think he's deserving. I would turn Tommy Dreamer into a total heel and let them feud for awhile and turn the strap over to Dreamer for quite sometime.)
Starwars411

RAW
WWE Champion - Randy Orton (Personally, I feel that it is his time to shine. It's too early for Jericho to become champ considering he has only been back a few weeks, and that would be unfair to some of the guys who have worked hard to get where they are in the company. I would have Randy feud with Jericho and then after Armageddon, feud with Triple H for a couple of months, and finally feud with whomever wins the Royal Rumble)
Intercontinental Champion - Mr. Kennedy (I think it would a great stepping stone for him before he actually went for the WWE Championship. I would either have him feud with Jeff Hardy or Carlito.)
World Tag Chamions - Umaga and Snitsky (They would be a great team together and make great champs. I would have them feud with Holly and Cody Rhodes.)
Women's Champion - Mickie James (Mainly because she's my favorite Diva, and she'd feud with Beth.)
Smackdown
World Heavyweight Champion - Kane (He hasn't had a World Title in years and the last time he had it, the reign was only a day. He'd feud with Edge for awhile and I would still have him as Champ at Wrestlemania where he would fight his "brother", Undertaker. I think it would be a great way for Undertaker to retire, that is if it is his last match.)
United States Champion - Rey Mysterio (He would be champ until Matt Hardy came back from his injury, and then I would have them feud a couple PPVs with Matt winning the title at Wrestlemania.)
WWE Tag Team Champions - Deuce and Domino (I like their gimmick and I would give them a longer title run than their previous one. I would have them feud with Jesse and Festus.)
Crusierweight Champion - Jimmy Wang Yang (Give him his first title run and let him feud with either Gregory Helms (when he returns) or Kenny Dykstra.)
ECW
ECW Champion - Big Daddy V (It would be a short run, but then I would give it back to Punk)
ChaCho

RAW
World Champion - I would give to it to Jericho (Have him feud with Orton and HHH. Rounding up around Wrestlemania with a nice Triple Threat Match. Very Nice.)
Intercontinental Champion - I would give it to Carlito, this is what he would need. Feud with Kennedy, Hardy and HBK. Rounding up around Wrestlemania with a crazy Ladder Match who would not only win the IC Championship but also Money in the Bank.)
Tag Titles - I like the idea of Umaga and Snitsky, that team is scary to think about it. (Feud with Lashley if he comes back soon and Santino Morella, give him something to do. Or the Highlanders, they are pretty good.)
Women's Title - Beth is good. (Feud with Candice, just to see her entrance, is super hot)
Smackdown
World Title - Undertaker (Feud with Batista or a returning JBL.)
United States Champion - Finlay (Feud with Chuck Palumbo.)
Tag Titles - Edge and Kane (Feud with Mysterio and a returning RVD)

Raw
WWE Champ - Shawn Michaels... since coming back from his retirement he's put on great match after great match. A final run with it would be great. Just like he had in 96
IC Title - Cm Punk.. Id love CM to come over to raw... maybe a trade for someone.
Tag Champs - Umaga and Vader.. what a combo that would be!!! I smell ratings!
Womens champ - Mickie.. she's earned it. Now she's doing nothing really. She was having a decent feud with beth phoenix.
Smackdown
World - Undertaker... he also needs a final run. He should destoy batista.
US- John Morrison... Yup
Tag Champs.. Rey and Chavo.. it'd be kinda cool to see these 2 pair up.
Cruiserweight... uhh.. beth phoenix! that'd be cool!!
ECW Champ- How freaking great would it be to bring back an original???
JUSTIN CREDIBLE!!!

Armaggedon Picks
WWE Championship Match
Chris Jericho vs Randy Orton - Randy Orton wins. Chris Jericho has been absent for two years. Orton has been wrestling non-stop going against top superstars. Orton keeps the gold.
World Heavyweight Championship Match
Batista vs Edge vs The Undertaker - Even though I would love to see Taker win the Title, I'm afraid he is too concentrated on destroying Edge to focus on winning the match. Don't forget he didn't ask for the match, Theodore Long gave it to him.
Triple HHH vs jeff Hardy - HHH always knows what to do on big-time match-ups. Jeff Hardy will put up a great show, but HHH will win.
CM Punk & Kane vs Big Daddy V & Mark Henry - CM Punk hasn't been able to defeat Big Daddy V. Kane got smushed by both Mark Henry and V. So they are overpowered. V & Henry will win.
Shawn Michaels vs Mr. Kennedy - No one messes with HBK. Three words: Sweet Chin Music Baby!!
Finlay vs The Great Khali - Finlay loves to fight, enough to beat Khali.
Mickie James and Beth Phoenix - Do not care, we all win.
U.S. Championship Match
Rey vs MVP - Rey has been on a role for a while now, but MVP is a really ambitious superstar. MVP wins

Plans are in place for WWE to release DVDs on Batista, Bobby Lashley, Steve Austin, The Rock and "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig in 2008. They will also be releasing a Summerslam Anthology box set, which will feature every edition of the company's annual August pay-per-view from 1988 through 2007. They will also be releasing a compilation DVD on Hell in the Cell matches. Furthermore, it is believed that matches featuring Chris Benoit will be utilized in future Anthology sets, but they won't be marketing his name, nor using him in compilation DVDs on select WWE stars. It is believed that the Steve Austin DVD was delayed (it was originally scheduled to be released in November) because it was going to feature his mid-2001 feud with Benoit and they had to edit it out.
cant wait for the "Perfect" dvd ;)
i think its stupid what they're doing to the matches with Benoit. i know the whole thing is tragic, but him as a performer as a wrestler was phenomenal.

Yes, they're editing out everything to do with him. On the current smackdown 08 game, wwe have thq remove benoit, his taunts, his moves. Everything and anything that had to do with him. They're doing the same with any matches involving him as well.

They really got burned big time by doing the Tribute Show for him before they really knew what happened. It was a PR Nightmare after all the news came out about what he did. Yes wrestlers will miss him and might talk about him in interviews but don't expect Vince to put him in the Hall of Fame anytime soon. There would be way too much backlash from the media if he were to do that.

i can understand not having him in the Hall of Fame, but to erase his matches from upcoming dvds? he and Kurt Angle had some of thee best matches ever.
alright Edge!! :D
and heres a potential spoiler of the names for the Elimination Chamber for No Way Out (early, I know)
Advertising has already started for the upcoming Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out on February 17 in Las Vegas. They are pushing the Elimination Chamber match, with the winner getting a title shot at WrestleMania.
The deal is that the Royal Rumble winner chooses the champion he wants to face at Mania. The top wrestlers, likely for the other brand, will battle for the other shot in the Elimination Chamber.
It looks like this will be a Raw brand match. The names listed in the advertising include Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels, Jeff Hardy, Mr. Kennedy, Umaga and Bobby Lashley.

With Benoit, what he did was completely fuc*** up, yes. But I don't know to make him completely erased from WWE memory is just I don't know.

Triple H: King of Kings - 03/25/2008
Evolution of the Hardys - 05/06/2008
The Rock - 06/03/2008

Edge - 11/04/2008
Randy Savage: Macho Madness - 11/18/2008

Its interesting to see Vince releasing a Randy Savage DVD. i read somewhere that he doesnt like Savage at all. hence, why Savage is yet to be in the HOF, any action figures, being on WWE TV.
Out of the list, I want
The Legacy of Stone Cold
Summer Slam Anthology(probably get Vol 1(1988-1992) & 2(1993-1997)
Life and Times of Mr. Perfect
depending on the HHH: King of Kings, Edge, and Randy Savage: Macho Madness.

I got the Bret Hart book. I ordered it from Amazon. Seems to be available in Canada and New York only. Anyway, it was an outstanding book. Best wrestling book I have ever read hands down. It's quite a long read compared to other wrestling books (aside from Mick Foley).
The book really goes into great detail in all aspects of the Hart's life. The last one hundred and fifty pages or so are a complete downer. From the Montreal Screwjob on it is just downhill for Hart. It also gets pretty emotional in some areas. All in all, the book left me feeling extremely nostalgic. I had to go back and watch the old Bret Hart matches on his DVD.
I heard, not confirmed but heard, that upon its US release, the book will be heavily editted by the WWE. I heard changes are to be made on about 400 of the 550 pages. So I'd buy now.

Bret and the WWE could not come to an agreement about the editing of his book in the US so it will not be released with the WWE name on it. Bret was furious when he found out how much they wanted to edit out of it so he backed away from the negotiations.

Well WWE wanted to edit it to put their name on it. Bret has other options of releasing the book in the states but if WWE would have their name on it they wanted final say in what was included. It is just like any other publisher editing a book.

That is one thing I miss about the attitude Era. The different factions that feuded with one another. They all included a Top tier wrestler or 2 along with a couple mid-carders that might have been forgotten had it not been for the faction status.
I think it helped in bringing Mid-Card wrestlers in to the homes of people all around the world.

Thing about these wrestlers is they got to become popular with the fans to get big things. Look at Jeff Hardy, I said some time back that he would be great to carry a WWE Championship role, and he is. That Steel Cage Match against Umaga was really nice and the finale was just Jeff Hardy Trademark finish. And look he has been back for over a year now, fighting week in and week out, putting new moves in his arsenal, fighting matches to get popularity. And he did it, he climbed up the WWE Ladder the right way, like HHH and HBK. And now he's gonna main event Royal Rumble.
Carlito, Shelton Benjamin.. all these wrestlers need to do the same and paint themselves on Top Wrestler Picture before Vince hires some muscle monsters again that take all the fame. They need to slap themselves into success. I say it again HHH, HBK, Undertaker, Batista.. They are not gonna be there forever.
