Well here's the third match they announced today.

4-on-4 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match
- World Tag Team Champions Ric Flair & Roddy Piper, Dusty Rhodes & Sgt. Slaughter with Arn Anderson vs. The Spirit Squad with Mitch.

I'm happy they are having quite a few of the traditional matches on the card and it will be interesting to see how they build those up interpromotional wise. Booker and Bastista makes sense. What about the Boogeyman? Where is he going to fit in. Then there's Shelton and Carlito.

Not for nothing but I dont like the mathces being announced on WWE.com I mean it takes the hype from the show, I mean dont you like it betterb when the GM, whoever it is, scream "You will defend your title at Survivor Series against The Undertaker!" you know, its much better. This just doesnt build hype.

i dont like it, look the Taker vs Kennedy match will be a First Blood Match, thats a cool match but I was like...Ok. Good match, what I predicted a nice Hardcore Match, is the same just it stops when someone starts bleeding.

i dont like them announcin it on wwe.com either cause it does take the hype out of it plus its kool to see the 2 go at it THEN the GM come out & scream. its all about leading up to the fight, not just the fight itself. i know taker & kennedy have had it out for awhile now but its better to see it on tv than a website & be like when did this happen.

Welll...most the fueds have been brewing on T.V.....we just haven't saw the matches announced. Benoit vs chavo? They've been leading up to it on T.V. For weeks. Batista and Booker? How much more hype is needed? Legends vs spirit squad? We've been seeing it......Kennedy vs Taker...as you said...we;ve been seeing it....

Announcing the team matchups on the website is cool with me because for the most part the teams have equal beefs among them that WE HAVE SEEN ON TV.

I'm not trying to be a jerk man...I just am saying that these fueds have all been on TV, and announcing the obvious on the website isn't a biggie. Besides...now thats out of the way, and we can have the fueds get bigger. The next couple weeks should be crazy for every brand, with superstars from all brands showing up on every show.

Then...it's almost Royal Rumble time baby! Armageddon may be interpromotional too, and then there is always the possibility of a draft soon.

yea i guess it doesnt really matter. i really dont watch smackdown & im starting to wean off of raw very slow as well as ECW. i wouldnt mind seeing royal rumble as its comin here but i wouldnt spend my money on it. id rather win tickets off the radio stations. or even use the money to drive to florida to see TNA that weekend. now that would be cool

I always enjoy the Royal Rumble match myself, and would definately go see it live.

Well...Hardy got the IC belt back..which is good, and we have new Tag champs. I kept expecting Matt Hardy to show up when Nitro was beating down Jeff after their match, but he never did. Wasted opportunity IMO....maybe next week.

DX was funny as heck last night too. The Mickie vs Lita thing was good, and so was the finish to the match. DX passes Mickie a salami to hit Lita with. LOL.
Highlanders VS spirit squad was lame a roo....but at least we are seeing the disbanding of that group slowly but surely. Kenny is athlectic as heck, and could be good on his own.
I Read the ECW spoilers...good stuff too. CM punk has another great match against Knox and the sixth man is announced...sort of...for the elimination chamber.
The atmosphere in the UK made the show funner than usual....and I'm looking forward to smackdown on Friday.

yea im a big TNA fan. TNA is what i really look forward too. even if its on late. i have all dam day to see it but now it comes on an hour earlier. i do agree with you on everything about takin shots at WWe. that whole first paragraph is so true. they are doin dam good as it is. all the shots takin at WWe is from russo's doing, so he needs to let go already & focus on what hes got goin now. i really wish cornette doesnt leave but by the way it seems he will anyways. he brought old school with him. just what rasslin nowadays needs. i missed the whole first hour of raw but i did see the nitro vs. hardy match & i was hopin nitro wouldve kept the title but oh well. i liked the whole DX skit except for the part when they did that stupid little reel. it was lame but it picked up when they talked to CRYME TYME. hey what did you think of Todd Grisham doin color commentary? i think he'll do a good job fillin Ross' shoes. my favorite line "hey Ross when was the last time you had a six pack like that" that was classic Lawler. i could tell he was totally reading lawlers' script

Yeah....when HBK was like "I speak Jive" that was pretty funny. JR is working on a very short term contract, and it's possible that grisam will be stepping up to the plate soon. He didn't do sooo bad, but as you said, he should do his own schtick, not the King's. As for Cornette, man.....he TRIED to quit, but for some reason he can't. Everyone is saying Russos a changed man...yeah right. Like you said, this WWE VS TNA is classic russo. I think Angle really just looks bitter crying about what WWE "did to him"....
It's like O.K...if TNA is better...why the vendetta? Let it go man....shut your mouth...and prove Vince wrong.

In the current edition of WWE Magazine featuring Edge, it mentions that Lita will be soon "moonsaulting" herself away from wrestling. The article then jokes what other jobs she could do when she leaves WWE.

As rumored for quite some time now, the current WWE Women's Champion Lita is indeed planning on leaving WWE and taking some time off wrestling very soon. Many have found her departure interesting as she is one of many established stars that have walked away from the company recently.

Well in the past WWE has been very faithful to building "new stars". They don't seem to be interested in the fans outcry that TNA is "better", and focus on helping themselves, same as they did when WCW was opposing them. It could be some of the "established" stars may have a problem adapting to the new wrestlers getting roles they used to have. It is a possibility.

So what do you think of the rumors that a BIG Smackdown superstar is in talks with TNA? Another WWE star has said the guys feel like TNA is the place to be right now.

I for one think this is a couple of guys of the opposite opinion as most the guys in the WWE for reasons stated above. Some guys have trouble letting go of their spots for the new guys...and maybe thats where Vince has been drawing heat from them.
Take the main guy rumored to be wanting in TNA and regretting his contact extension with the WWE...Chris Benoit.....

He had one of the BIGGEST moments in wrestling history at the Garden at WM20....so if he's miffed because all he's been in US champ since then, then I think he is being a putz. What more could he do in TNA to top that?

He's had some classics in the WWE...classics he never had in WCW. Angle vs Benoit as WM is still considered one of the finest WM matches ever in some circles...and dude made history at WM 20 in a big way. Even more so now that EG is dead. If you watch the end celebration at the Garden now, it is quite a moment.
So, even if he was used properly by TNA...what could he really achieve there that he already hasn't in WWE?
He's still the most likely suspect though.

Booker T has turned into mr. company man now...so I don't think it's him. Batista? Maybe.......

I'm looking forward to the Ladder Match tonight...as I'm a big fan of those matches. I'm more excited about the possibility the Hardy's are returning full time as a tag team on ECW. Last night, when they had the standard "clear the locker room " brawl to end the show, Simmons was out there throwing his soup bones. Is he "technically" a legend? Well yes...he's one of the few African American Heavyweight Wrestling Champs....soooooo....I think he could be the "surprise" mystery partner for the "legends" team at SS.

Lita's last match will be at the Survivor Series. She was PISSED talking to the fans last night. She has really done alot for womens wrestling...but all we do is call her a slut...ect..ect....very good promo actually. Shes always had a shaky voice though, and that killed the emotion a tad.....

I miss the A.P.A. vignettes too. I saw them wrestle at NO WAY OUT in milwaukee a while back, and JBL hit Billy Gunn sooo hard with the clothesline from hell, dude spun in the air. It was great.

I/m not saying it's impossible that Rey would go to TNA, I just doubt it. He lost a loser leaves Smackdown match, so when he comes back he will be on RAW. There is no way he's gonna miss a shot to go on the top dog show.

Tell me this though....what is TNA'S strategy? To re-create WWE moments with stars made in the WWE...but do it the way TNA thought it should have been done?

I know Vince is gonna throw REY heavy duty Money to stay, and his merchandise is a top mover, he really has no need to go to TNA, and besides, on RAW, the WWE title will never be far from his reach....
TNA is really starting to show signs of stupidity that rivals the WWE's at times. Example...let's have Angle(because he's an EX WWE star) come in and beat our top guy, whose gimmick was he was "undefeated." Great. So when Angle gets hurt again(and he will ...soon) they will have to go back to getting Samoa Joe over as unbeatable again. I would be pissed if I was Joe. All the time and planning that went into getting Samoa Joe over went out the door when angle walked in. TNA should have more faith in their own stars, instead of getting an EX WWE star over, at an originals expense. The more WWE guys that go to TNA...the more TNA will lose it's identity.
Even if JOE ties the series At the next PPV(not to mention he now HAS to tag with Angle, and is going nowhere because of it) then what? Angle and Joe fued on and on, while Christian and Tyson Tomko stay in the title hunt?

Yikes. Next time people wanna crap on the WWE they should like at TNA closer and see they are also starting to make mistakes in Booking and managing the roster right.

Oh RAW was quite the lamefest last night. Hardy was GREAT in that ladder match...but Nitro stunk the joint up. That guy is gonna tank fast.
Don't get me wrong...I respect Christians abilities, and think he did step up in TNA. I also know he would have gotten the same push in the WWE had he shown some more patience. As for the legends match...well...it's just one match out of several good ones. It's gimmicky, and more for the live crowd. When the legends show up...people will cheer, and it's funny to see the Sarge whup some Spirit squad tail.
Hope we'll see a dominator by Farooq too....

It seems to me...whoever walks out of the event before a PPV victorious...either through a win, or a beat down, usually ends up losing at the PPV. Based on what happens on Smackdown, I think we'll have a new Heavyweight Champ on Sunday.
I also pick Chavo to win the US belt....Lita will lose to Mickie(although it's been said it will be a stratus sendoff clone) Kennedy will make the Taker bleed....yeah right,.....TAKER all the way....The Animal will maul Booker, Team DX will beat team Rated RKO...Cenas team will lose(monty brown interference?) The legends will win and the spirit squad will turn on Kenny, and....MY GOD is this ALL the matches? Fraid so....
Still...the elimination matches should be fun, and lengthy. The others matches could be good, if BOTH parties work hard(I'm talking to you Lita!)
Taker and Kennedy will be a high spot...as Kennedy can take a beating, and still make it funny somehow. Lita and Mickie COULD be one of the best womens matches ever if they work it right. Batista and Booker? Meh. After Batista wins...whats booker got going on? More importantly...whos Batista's next challenge? It's too early for Monty Brown to step into that role, and Smackdown has a shortage of threatening heels. If I was the WWE...I would keep the title on Bokker at leat until the RUMBLE. That way...at WM...whoever is in the Title match...it will be fresh.
Chavo and Benoit will be solid. Theres no way it can't be. I hope this is where Chavo finally takes a real step forward in the WWE. How about a BENOIT heel turn too? A heel Benoit would make a great candidate for a Batista fued.

I would like to see Monty Brown interfere with Batistas match. Smackdown needs a good heel, and if I remember correctly, I usually wanted to break monty's jaw after he was done talking in TNA.
He is a good heel. There is no guarantee the WWE will use him as A heel though......

As for Lashley and his spear. Goldberg did it better. Even Edge's spear don't compare. And it pisses me off that Batista is using it as a normal manoeuver. I remember Billy Gunn doing it in the past and his version sucked.

And it's awesome that Ron Simmons is back. I wished he would feud with JBL after what he did taking all that money. As well all know. Simmons walked out in disgust.

Well.....Overall the PPV was mildy Enjoyable. Mickie James is one of the best female wrestlers I have ever seen. Did she hit Lita with a freakin fishermans suplex? Um..yeah...she did. whoa.
I also Enjoyed watching team DXTREME kick the crap out of team RKO. Chavo vs Benoit was good too, although I think it's time for Chavo to step to the next level, and it's time for benoit to step out of the US title picture, and into the HW title picture. Chavo should have won.....
Oh..and Chavo...leave the frog splash to eddie and RVD...you CAN'T do it good at all.
Kennedy VS Taker was entertaining...and boy did Kennedy get beat down. The victory for Kennedy came at a HIGH price.
Everything else was standard...and I was dissapointed there was no curve balls thrown. Batista is champ again...whoopie doo. Let the era of slow, sloppy title defenses begin.
What happens to King Booker now? more importantly...who's Batistas next fued? I think it was a bad move to take the title off BOOKER right now.....PLUS...they killed all the suspense of the match. They should have just handed the belt to batista...cuz the way it was presented...the match didn't even matter....
Oh well.......let's see how RAW goes tonight. It sucks that both brands have babyface champs and no one to really challenge either.

LOL. Dude. Raw needs to get it's priorities straight. Tonight will be a good indication of where we are headed for WM23. I know the "road to Wrestlemania" begins at the Rumble...but the month leading up to the Rumble usualy has fueds start that lead up to something big for Mania.
First...DX...they need something different. The Tag Team division is pretty established on RAW now, and DX should have been wearing those straps months ago,.....though that may change tonight. It puzzles me why they have other tag teams yet they are putting FOUR top Raw guys at the forefront, but since they are.....let DX take the lead, and let Orton and Edge do something else.
I have a bad feeling it's going to be Cryme Time vs Rated RKO for a couple weeks now......which leaves DX where exactly?

Carlito beat Haas in a dark match before SS. Why didn't he make it on the damn PPV? Knox was on(very briefly ha ha ) the spirit squad was on...hell...even test made the show...but no carlito?
What he does on RAW tonight(if anything) should tell a little about where the WWE is taking the "Cool one".

So two matches have been announced...and one further highlights my frustration with RAWS tag team division. the Hardyz vs Rated R.K.O. for the belts.
Guess that means DX is on to other things....and there is the outside chance the Hardyz will take the belts to ECW, leaving RAW with more established Tag Teams than Smackdown..and NO TITLES. Jeff will also have double gold if they win. I guess this means Matt is off his smackdown vacation in hell. My prediction? Tonight rated RKO implodes setting up a damn good fued in the process.

The divas are having a battle royal for #1 contendership to the Womens title. Woo-Hoo.

Looks like they are leading up to a BIG DX vs RKO fued as they have involved Ric Flair, and had Edge and Orton kidnap him and beat him down.

I love that Victoria won the battle royal...and quite convincingly too. I was starting to wonder if they were ever going to do anything with her.....
It's sad that I'm more excited about seeing a Victoria vs Mickie James match then most of the fueds on RAW though.

Overall..RAW took a step in the right direction last night...let's see what smackdown does.

Kanes been on a losing streak lately though, and if he's jobbing to MVP, I guess a title shot isn't in his future...

WWE seems to already have a plan in place for SmackDown's title match at Wrestlemania 23 in Detroit.

There is talk of a Batista vs. Undertaker title match taking place at the event. The title vs. streak (Undertaker is 14-0 at Mania) would be the selling point for the match. Vince McMahon has already okayed the idea, so this is the current plan.

Regarding the outcome of the match, the current plan is for Batista to go over The Undertaker, thus ending his WrestleMania streak and keeping the title. Then again, plans can always change between now and then.

DX is the domination of raw right now along Cena. No one can argue, but they need wrestlers to step up to them. DX is a Tag Faction and they need to get a Tag Team worthy enough to take them on. Umaga going against Cena isnt that big. Umaga is not impressive, he is not that tall or really heavy to have such a hype or his streak.

Survivor Series wasn't too bad the other day. The DX team annihilating the RKO team was hilarious. Cryme Tyme selling Lita's stuff was a bit much. Does anybody feel that Lita will return someday? I think she will. I really do. I don't think it was a sendoff she really deserves despite the crap surrounding her, Edge and Matt Hardy.

As for Batista winning the title. I do feel King Booker should have retained the title only to have him finally losing it at Wrestlemania.

RAW was O.K. last night actually. The eight man tag match was really high paced and fun. I believe 6 of the 8 guys in theat match are among the best in wrestling today. The Masterlock challenge was a good spot...and how hot is victoria? Very hot I think...even if she is crazy. Torrie had a wardrobe malfunction...hee..hee....but Carlito looked crappy aginst Vicesera. Were the ropes loose or something?
Anyhow...the only thing I don't like is the angle Cena is in. He has another pointless match next wwek against umagas manager...and they are still hyping the KFED crap like it's really gonna be a match.
I'm glad HAAS is getting back with shelton. they are a GREAT tag team and a fued with Cryme time will be fun.

RVD kinda ticks me off. I like dude...I've met him, and I have his autograph and stuff...I RESPECT him big time....but when he goes out there...he should give his all.Thats why we all loved him in the first place/ Lately...because he hasn't been picked to win...his matches have been half assed. RVD has always been a great perfomer. The thing about the "hardcore" setting of the old ECW is alot of those guys got pigeon holed into that niche. Now that they are pushing "clean" matches...I would think that the guys would be happy that their wrestling talents are being used...but people are saying they would rather see dudes getting beat in the head with weapons instead. Thats good in doses....but a guy like RVD really could steal the show in ECW even if he was up against stevie richards every night....by doing what he does best...performing. Thats how he got our attention in the first place...and thats what will get him pushed further.
Acting like a bitter jerk isn't good for anyones career in the end. I thought WCW folding would have taught people that. My advice to any guy jumping to TNA is do it clean...don't burn bridges...because like it or not...Mcmahon rules the wrestling world.

I'd like to see the proper mixture of both my friend. I have great respect for both respective arts. Word round the campfire is soon RAW will be the sports entertainment show...and smackdown will be the wrasslin show. Actually I see it that way now...but It will be more defined in the future I think.....


I actually hope ECW hangs in there. It did better ratings this week than IMPACT if you can believe that! I view it for what it is...the third brand, and in that respect...I'm thinking the roster will develop nicely with Lashley as champ. Inserting Monty Brown in the mix may make ECW pretty smashmouth and interesting. Speaking of Smashmouth...even without the hardcore rules matches, ECW'S style is currently the most smashmouth of the three brands. I suspect they will imbelish that aspect in the coming months as well....


Interestingly enough...TNA has a long way to go in stopping the WWE(which I feel the vendetta has become)...WWE topped all other live sporting events in November. Not too shabby eh? People may chant TNA...but they still show up at WWE shows to do it...

i downloaded the demo on Xbox Live and it was pretty fun. The animations and graphics are really detailed. I was gonna buy the full game but never got around to doing it.

The PS2 version has too many flaws to list....but as far as I know,the 360 version is fine. Very fun game. complete control...you can hold a dude up for as long as your stamina lasts...and drop e'm anywhere. plus the "hot-spots" outside the ring and in the crowd make this game total fun.

The bad news is ..HHH'S injury is not a torn quad.it is a ruptured quadriceps tendon.....so that means One tendon in his quad was torn not the whole quad.It's in the opposite leg of the first injury and is still really serious.

BAD NEWS...it will take 4 to 6 months to rehab nine months to return(he returned in 8 from his last busted quad)......his surgery is scheduled on Tuesday.

anyways last nites TNA ppv was the best ive seen. it was better than any payperview last year except for ECW ONS2 (cause that was still kool at the time). CLB got the title, I got to see Bob Backlund put the CrossFace ChickenWing on Austin Starr (Shelley vs Starr was one of the best matches last nite) Samoa lost to Angle but still a good one. Angle is gonna fight CLB at the next PPV. i missed LAX vs Team 3d but it ended in Dq or some ****. It was good to see the NEW ***IN SHOW back in action too. i rate last nite a 8.5. what was even better is they had a match on the PRESHOW. (somethin WWE doesnt do) and they also ended the show about 5 minutes before 10. not 32 minutes(somethin else WWE needs to take note of how to do)

Does anyone else see Orton and Edge at Mania? Seems to me they keep throwing us hints that Rated RKO will break up soon. First when Edge won the battle royal and bragged to Randy about his title shot, Randy looked a little pissed. Now Edge left Orton alone with Michaels to take a massive chair shot to the skull. I'm wondering if we'll hear some backlash from that on Monday. My guess is if this happens it will go down during the Rumble. Orton will eliminate Edge or vice versa and it will go off from there. i missed the first half hour due to nonstop talkin, i heard there was a hardy match but im sure i didnt miss nuthin on that. i fell asleep during the streetfight & i really cant remember anything else. ah well no big deal. i guess ill just have to wait till thursday to see anything worth remembering

Yeah...in the first 10 minutes HBK talked about how he was getting his fire back...and that he was out to win the Rumble...it was actually a crowd pleaser...edge came out and they fought into the back.
Then Mercury got whupped by Jeff Hardy after Milena and Nitro got tossed out by the REF.

Mcmahon gave a solid promo...lots of heat from the crowd which is what he is looking for, and promised some to show his appreciation to the fans next week...in other words...he's going to piss us off some more...
Cena came out...insulted Vince...good stuff.

Solid matches too....
Carlito vs Kenny wasn't too bad...tori looked great.
Supercrazy vs Masters was cool too, I love how SC turned the masterlock into a pin a won.

Cena running the gauntlet was fun, and boy did he get whupped on!

The street fight was cool too, I liked the ending. HBK superkicked Carlito, Kenny, and I believe Orton.

The only fault was the womens match. Candice michelle isn't on the level of Mickie, Milena or Victoria...so that screwed up everybodys timing. Victoria looked amazing too.....

They might. The more I think about it...I'm starting to believe Orton will win. He got screwed last year IMO...but I suppose Mysterio winning was quite a moment...depending on who you ask.

I think Konnan is full of himself. TNA IS paying for his surgery, & even though he has to pay it back i still think hes full of **** for askin the fans for money.
