:nono: Mickie is awesome!!! And I kinda like where this whole Raw has two titles thing is going. Cause the big question is why was he even there. Teddy knew he was gonna be there cause you see him mouth the words "its okay, its okay" to the ring announcer when Angle was coming out. I don't think Edge will drop the belt at the Rumble. I think if he does it will be at Wrestlemania.

Aight, It would be kind of cool if Michaels went over to Smackdown, however, it would be even cooler if he goes over there with the Heavy Weight title...he really could have some good feuds there....one in particular I would love seeing again is drum roll please........Taker vs Michaels...come on who wouldnt want to see those matches again?
ChaCho

^^^^UH UH ME ME lol
seeing them two on a match again would be awsome. He not only could have feuds with him, with Chris Benoit (Who didnt win the US Title which he should have if it wasnt for Booker T), HBK and Benoit had some really good matches in 2004. He could go against Batista when he comes back, which would really nice and at the Raw that was dedicated to Eddie Guerrero the day after he died, HBK had a really good match with Rey Mysterio, they could have an awsome cage or TLC match.
The thing with Angle winning the Title yesterday, I was rootin for him, Im so dumb, even though i knew he was gonna win. But I really want to know why Teddy let him on the match, he knew Angle could have won, he did. And he gave him the title with no remorse or problem. I would really like to know whats the deal, unless Angle is a Smackdown superstar already.

If everyone gets the chance, head on over to WWE.COM and check out Trevor's newest match on Heat with Viscera. It was actually a VERY good match in my opinion and Trevor finally showed what he real has in the ring. He took some very nice looking bumps and it put Viscera over and made him look really good. And finally Trevor did the top rope move that I've been asking him to do on TV. Hopefully when he makes it back onto Raw to go after the IC title, then he will do this move again. He calls it something different than what I thought it was...But, you will see if you watch it. :)

Im not a big fan of Viscera no more, I used to really like him when he had a role as a dark wrestler, he kicked more ass like that and was feared much much more. Trevor was really good coming into the WWE on the Tag Team role, he really kicked ass like that. WWE needs to use the elements on wrestlers that make them good. Trevor and Viscera are RAW caliber, they could and have made really good matches and deserve to be in national T.V. not on Heat which now only airs at WWE.com

As for the Battle Royal well I knew Angle was gonna win. There is no way they're gonna allow Mark Henry to win the title. There'll be a cold day in hell when Henry becomes champion.

news about Angle & Taker from rajah.com
The Undertaker has been telling people backstage that he wants to have a good quality match at WrestleMania 22. Kurt Angle name has been brought up for a possibly opponent for the Undertaker. Taker has been saying that this could likely be his last WrestleMania, and with Kurt Angle’s bad neck, this could be his last WrestleMania match too.
With Kurt Angle as the new World champion, this would open the door for the Undertaker to chase Angle for the title. History has proven that when a face chases the heel for the title that the buyrates and ratings are much better.

I"m not 100% sure of angle is going face, cause he does things sometimes that make you think he will, then goes back to pure wonderful evil :)
I still think vince/shawn fued thing is useless. I dont see any point to it.
The rest of didnt bother me much. womans matches were the same.
I wish shelton would be fine without his "mom" cause hes soo damm taleneted, but its sort of funny so Ill see where it goes.

I like the Sheltons mom gimmick. It gives Shelton some damn personality. We all know hes got skills, but he needs to start entertaining on a DIFFERENT level.
I'm stoked about an Angle/Taker match...good stuff. This whole thing with HBK/Mcmahon is stupid though. It's my guess that since Bret Hart does not seem willing to have a match at WM, this is Vinces way of substituting someone he can have a match with, and be the glory hog he is. Why does he think having himself on the card at WM is actually a good thing?
Anyways...JBL vs the Boogeyman at the Rumble sucks too. Why not have these guys in the Rumble match instead? With only 15 guys from Smackdown able to enter I fear we will have to see guys like Grenier, kendrick,London, Simon Dean, and other rejects participate in the Rumble Match. It's always a lot better with REAL competiton in it, but oh well.......

Taker vs Angle at wrestlemania would be awsome, they have never wrestled each other at Wrestlemania and it will make a good as hell match. The Undertaker to me still has a few trips around the ring before he retires, to me he is still the best WWE wretler of all time.
The HBK and Vince feud is not only stupid but dangerous in my opinion. This feud came out of nowhere to HBK and it pisses me off. Just because of this feud HBK could just say to hell with it and leave the WWE, he has already made a mark and impact that nowhere and no one could ever try to make. So Vince is just playing with fire.

If you read more into it...{try wrestlezone.com} It sounds like he wanted to be released. Also..they don't know if it's temporary or not.
As far as Austin and Hogan go, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see this match go down. They are going to need a big match for WM this year, and since Bret Hart vs Hbk, or Mcmahon seems out of the question know, they might push this Hogan and Austin concept. I doubt either would really turn it down as the match will do big buisness and guarantee both wrestlers a fat paycheck.
As for who will win....well, don't forget Hogan jobbed to the rock a few wrestlemanias back.....laying down to Austin isn't that unlikely.

Hogan vs Austin would be really nice but I dont think it will happen. See at RAW Homecoming they were announcing very strongly the return of Hogan, but he came out for five minutes, he didnt want to wrestle or anything so what does he do to make everything look ok, he makes a 'challenge' to another legend in the building Stone Cold Steve Austin, if a match were to happen Austin would have surely came out and say he would really like that or something. Let me tell you that match is as much likely as The Undertaker vs Goldberg in a Hell in a Cell

No one noticed because it's been BORING. No one needs to stay champ that long. It gets dry after a while. I think creative needs to mix it up a little bit more. There's a hell of a lot of Divas and none of them are going after that title? WTF? Victoria, anyone? Lita, anyone? Hell, I'd give the new divas a shot for the hell of it. Can't wait for the Rumble this Sunday. This is the first year in a long time that I honestly have no idea who's gonna win. Last year I knew Batista would win. 2004 I had a good feeling Benoit was gonna win. 2003 I knew that Crock Lesnar would take. 2002 it was a given HHH would win. Somehow in 2001 I knew Austin was gonna win. And in 2000 my money was on The Rock and he won.
But this year? Not too sure. I would really like Kane to win since he's LONG overdue for a title shot, but it's not likely (it would kick major ass though!) I wouldn't mind seeing Masters or Carlito win since it would be cool *no pun intended* to see some new blood get a chance but it's probably too early for either of them. I'm guessing either of the following would win:
HBK
HHH
Orton

Mickie James vs. Ashley - Trish Stratus as special guest referee - WOW ima loce see this match with these three hot dicvas jumpin around, i see Ashley winning, she is mad now and i bet nothing can stand un her way.
The Boogeyman vs. JBL - This match is actually funny, i go with the boogeyman, i just believe that JBL is afraid of the Boogyeman and he is coming to get him.
World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle vs. Mark Henry - this is gooing to be a really good match. the worlds strongest man v the wrestlin machine. On friday henry broke out of the ankle lock, but there is still the angle slam, angle wins.
WWE Champion Edge vs. John Cena - a long time ago i always wondered why edge was never champion but now i know, he is just not a good champion, at all, now dont get me wrong his defense against ric flair in the TLC match was awsome even though he cheated, but good. Cena is on fire and with the FU and the STFU he is gonna become the Champ again.
The 2006 Royal Rumble Match - wow this is very hard, 30 men on it, everyone with a chance at it.. i dunno i pick HBK just because he is my favorite going into the match, now if the Undertaker becomes a special entree he will be the winner.

from wrestle-online.com concerning HBK Vs The Rock @ WM 22.
THE ROCK SAYS NO TO HBK AT MANIA
- In an interview with IGN.COM, Shawn Michaels revealed that The Rock has refused the idea of working against Shawn Michaels for WrestleMania 22 in Chicago. "I had mentioned me and Rock because wrestling fans haven't seen it, but he's not interested in doing that," said the former champion. In previous interviews, The Rock always said he was never interested in working against HBK for whatever reason. "As I told some folks a few months ago, I'm at the point where I want to do things I haven't done," he said regarding WrestleMania. "That's obviously not easily done. I've wrestled just about everybody, but I'll try to figure something out." You can read the whole interview at http://sports.ign.com/articles/684/684176p1.html that sucks!!!! ive always wanted to see that match :( DAMN YOU ROCK!!!
and whats up with Ric Flair not defending his IC Title at RR? dont tell me he's gonna be like Hogan when he won the title @ WM 9 and didnt defend it until KOTR, and just decorate his waist.
Just watched Smackdown last night. It's really cool to see Finlay back in the ring. I love his style of wrestling. And I'm glad that Angle won that Battle Royal. There is no way that Mark Henry will ever become champion. Ratings suicide if you ask me. But I do appreciate the fact that Henry has paid his dues and is getting the push he desires. Though he's sustained his share of injuries.
Looking forward to seeing these guys live in March. It's a long drive to Wellington for me but to see the WWE live in NZ for the first time will be absolutely worth it.

I've been reading results and Rey Mysterio has won the Royal Rumble match! Thats kind of a surprise. It came down to RVD, Mysterio, Orton, and Triple H in the final four. Also, the McMahons screwed HBK over, to further their feud.

Was there anything to further the Edge/Lita split?
I really wonder where they're going to go with Edge now. I had a feeling that he was going to get rid of the "money in the bank" by having a short title run and then get his walking papers.
Should be interesting to see what happens with Edge. I don't think they can afford letting Lita go as she, Victoria, Trish, and Mickie are the only women on the roster who can actually wrestle a decent match.
It was a very good Rumble. It was sad seeing Flair get eliminated fairly early by Triple H. The crowd's boos were quite noticeable if you know what I mean. Seeing Tatanka and Goldust was a surprise even.
It was a surprise seeing Rey win the Rumble. He deserved it. And for a fitting tribute too. I suppose I should have seen it coming. ;)
And to see Benoit, Malenko and Chavo congratulating Rey post Rumble was somewhat moving then Edge interrupts the festivities. Could it be a sign of things to come? Not at all. Edge lost the title back to Cena and that catwalk entranceway Cena used to get to the ring. Impressive to say the least.
I can see an Angle/Mysterio match come Wrestlemania.
Lastly, Mickie James = Psycho. And Ashley while hot as she is needs a lotta ringwork. The boos were pretty obvious. And Trish didn't want Mickie to win either but she had no choice.

So, I wake up this morning to find out that a friend and fellow wrestler Emory Hale has passed away. I first met him in 2002 when he was portraying the Lord Humongous gimmick in the indy scene. He tried to wrestle a match about 2 years ago, but he had all of these health problems and came backstage in pain. I will never forget that, but today his health finally got to him. He wrestled in WCW for a small amount of time around 2000. He was the guy that Jimmy Hart managed and had the "Hail Warning" thing. He also wrestled DDP on Thunder once but lost. Too bad that this happened, because he seemed to be a really nice guy. He gave me some pointers backstage and such...:( RIP

You wouldn't love to see REY hit a double 619 on Orton and angle?
There is actually talk that REY may lose his #1 contenders spot to Orton at NO way out......which would put crazy heat on Orton and push angle as a Face for Wrestlemania.
Looking at everyone in the tournament on RAW, I would bet the farm on HHH winning it.
Carlitoor masters wouldn't draw as a main event opponent for Cena, and RVD and Big Show will not get pushed past HHH for the Main event slot. HBK will get screwed by the McMahons hyping their showdown at WM,so he won't be winning either.

Really? Why not? Cena and HHH would be fantastic. Hate the game all you want...but he can work wonders in the ring. I enjoyed all his matches at Wrestlemania...all of e'm.
Orton and Angle will be good, both can actually wrestle and understand how to put on a good show, throw rey in the mix, and it will be off the hook.
Henry vs Undertaker....hell yeah. Mark Henry has been gone awhile, but I remeber before he left he was just starting a good fued with Goldberg that I would have loved to see through to conclusion. Both are big guys, and he is a believable threat to the Taker. Plus...it gives someone to keep Takers streak at WM alive.
HBK VS MCmahaon? On paper it sounds bad...but this is HBK were talking about here. Hogan and mcmahon was entertaining as hell...and don't forget HBK can produce quality entertainment everytime hes at WM, and Mcmahon can be fun to watch get beat down.
Edge and Foley? Sweet. Let Mick get Hardcore on that little punk. Of course Edge will win, but it will be fun to see Foley beat him with Barbwire and chairs first.
I have faith in WM. It's the one PPV out of the year that I can order with confidence.

Yep, I've been thinking that since WWE forced their drug policy harder on the wrestlers that I've seen a huge change in Snitsky and Triple H. I wouldn't doubt that those two were "sneaking" the juice (roids) every once in awhile. You can tell that Snitsky was doing it for sure. Remember the huge pimples on his back too? That was a major sign of the horse juice. ;)
I've missed a lot recently, only caught a bit of Smackdown last night and wasn't impressed. Kurt Angle and Mark Henry in the title picture? Both of those guys just bore me. And where should Orton go exactly? Should he fued with guys like Simon Dean, or maybe Grenier? Maybe he should just quit wrestling all together......
Please. Mysterio and Orton are both right where they need to be. Hate Orton all you want, but at least his matches are quality. Why should a talented guy like him be buried down the card because some people don't like his personality?
Just wait until No Way Out. Ray and Orton will steal the show. The match will be fastpaced, and fun as hell to watch, and once it's over, you will want to see these guys in the ring together again.
Why does it seem to be that people judge wrestlers worth by whether or not they like the guys personality?
Do you guys watch what they do in the ring?
Pop in Cactus Jack vs Orton from Backlash once, or dig up an old RVD vs orton match from RAW.
Rey will get his day, heck, it's probably going to happen soon, But don't expect everyone else to just jump out of the way because hes a fan favorite.
If he can't hold his spot at No Way Out, then does he really deserve to have it?
Chances are my Triple Threat match will happen, simply because Orton and Rey are both too talented to put on the backburner.

I'm sorry to hear that. HHH VS HBK VS Benoit was a helluva a match a wrestlemania 20.
.
I agree about the Triple Threat Main event at WM 20 with HBK, HHH, and Benoit. It was the best match of the night, and basicaly saved it from being a dull WM. That was supposed to be the best WM of all, and it was not even near that. They had no stipulation matches, and you need stipulation matches to make it exciting. So i bet Vince told HBK, HHH, and Benoit to go full bore, and all out.
I hat this mcmahons screwing HBK over, I want him to have one more title run before he's done, since He's had the title only once since he's been back
I wouldn't want to see Orton vs Angle at WM. It's Mysterio who won the Rumble so he better win at No Way Out. Surely they can fit Orton in there somewhere. We don't want another Triple Threat match now do we?
And I agree with the Benoit/Triple H/HBK Triple Threat match. That was stellar. And I felt Benoit's tears when he won that title. He made it look believeable. And when Eddie came out to celebrate with Benoit. I was really in tears. That was beautiful.

They're going to use the match with Orton to make a Rey win over Angle more believeable.
Rey will beat Orton so it doesn't look like such a joke when he beats Angle.
Either that or you're only hearing a partial release of the WM card.
They wouldn't have gone to the trouble of having Rey win the Royal Rumble if he's just going to turn around and lose his shot with a loss to Orton.
If I were a betting man, I'd say they figure out some way to have a triple threat match at WM with Rey winning the title.

Yo man next thursday do you guys think HBK will actually leave the WWE? I mean Vince said it, and well even if it sounds stupid what he says goes, he said HBK's luck would run out at the Rumble and bam it did. See before, when Vince said he would fire someone like he gonna do to HBK, Linda would come out and save the day somehow, but now she most probably wont.
I had a glimpse of the future, lol, and i found out two matches at Wrestlemania.
One: Kurt Angle vs Rey Mysterio for the WWE Championship
Two: The Undertaker vs Mark Henry
Rey will beat Orton at No Way Out
Mark Henry will interfere at No Way Out and make Angle win against The Undertaker. And of course then it will be just one more dragon that will try to take over the Kingdom, and The Undertaker will slay him. 14-0

I still say a three way dance for the title will happen. Simply because there is no other opponent for Orton at present. I don't see him getting in The U.S Title hunt, but it's not impossible either.
Given Rey's size...I just think a three way would be a more believeable match. Nothing against Rey, but a one on one against Angle isn't very exciting.
I remember back when No Way Out came to Milwaukee. I went. HHH's shot at Wrestlemania was up for grabs against Angle{this was the year the game won the RR} And HHH lost the match. He still went on to Wrestlemania anyway...so saying that Rey has to win at NWO because he won the rumble isn't accurate. They still have a month of storyline after NWO, and thats why Rey will probably lose.
It will piss people off and put crazy heat on Orton, and make Rey more of a favorite. He will still get in the main event slot somehow too. Whos to say Angle will even have the belt come WM? I can guarantee the whole face of Smackdown as it is right now will be different come Mania.
I know the spoiler reports insist on Angle defending, but WWE could throw a curveball at anytime. Also...people get injured. Betting the farm that it will be Rey and Angle at this point is not very wise IMO....
Don't get me wrong...I'm not against it....but I have a feeling Orton will be involved in the title picture too...like it or not. We'll just have to see.

I have some sad news, if you all haven't heard by now. Matt Cappotelli, also known as OVW Champion, and Tough Enough contestant came up with a brain tumor awhile back. When he was taken to the hospital after being knocked out in a wrestling bout', they found this tumor. It turns out that it is indeed cancerous and from a scale of 1-4 and 4 being the worst, doctors are saying its a 2. Cappotelli gave up his OVW title at the last show the other night, and here is a video if you are interested in checking it out. He gives a speech on the situation. :( My thoughts and prayers are with him and if somehow this man can pull through, I will be forever thankful. Because he is truly a blessed man, and got a long way with his career. He was about to be brought onto the main roster of WWE and this happened. I just hope that he stays strong.

I just got done watching Heat on WWE.COM and it was pretty interesting. First off, Goldfust faced Lance Cade in a decent match. I'm a big fan of both wrestlers, so it was fun to watch. Johnny Parisi made his return to the ring and faced Chavo Guerrero Jr. in what was a boring match to me. Guerrero always wrestles good, but Parisi didn't impress me one bit. The last match was for a shot at the Tag Team titles and had The Heart Throbs vs. Snitsky and Tomko vs. Venis and Viscera. That was a VERY good match and I enjoyed it much! I wish that it would have been on Raw. So, we have new #1 contenders to face Kane and Big Show. I will say that the ending of the match rocked, but I won't tell you all who won. You will have to head over and watch it yourselves. ;)

well i know its not the Heart Throbs because they just got released!
Nobody's going to be able to beat Big Show and Kane for the Tag belts IMO, they're just too big and powerful.
Especially not HEAT jobbers like Val "I suck but used to be in porn films" Venis and Viscera.
As for WWE Smackdown, WTF is up with all these constant references to Eddie Guerrero?! They only let Rey Mysterio win the Royal Rumble as a tribute to him cos Rey will not be main eventing at Wrestlemania, he will job his World title shot to Randy "I suck but my Daddy's a Legend" Orton at NWO.

I don't know, but its sick and pathetic. Zomb man what type of internship did you have offered to you? and what would you be doing if you took that?
Creative Team...Lets put it this way, I know a few people that know some people. ;) Usually you have to have a bachellors degree in media studies, communications, or TV in some sort of way. Usually also have to have about 3 years in writing and production for network television. Thats why it was going to be an internship, to get me where I needed to be, to where I could go on my own in a few years. Its good to know the higher ups in life. I met alot of the "right" people up at Harley's academy and shows. He recently had WWE talent relations John Laurenitis up there scouting at a camp. You can check out his website...You will also find out that WWE road agent Ted DiBiase is always up there (his sons are training under Harley), and creative team manager Dusty Rhodes. ;)

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that Mike "Johnny Grunge" Durham of the popular Public Enemy tag team was pronounced dead on arrival earlier this morning at an Atlanta area hospital.
The only details available at this time are that he was at a friend's house in Peachtree City, GA and was reportedly gasping for air and then rushed to the hospital. The early word based on the preliminary diagnosis from the Atlanta hospital was that his passing was said to have had to do with complications from sleep apnea.
Grunge was one half of the Public Enemy tag team with Rocco Rock, aka Teddy Petty, who passed away in September of 2002 following a massive heart attack. Grunge was said to have never been the same since his passing. Public Enemy were first created in ECW and became subject to a bidding war between both WCW and WWF. The tag team was never successful in either WCW or WWF after they had left ECW.
Grunge is believed to have been 39 years old. On behalf of the entire staff at WrestleView.com, we would like to send out our condolences to the family and friends of Mike Durham during his hard time.

To the 4-time former ECW tag team champion, and a WCW tag team champion, RIP Johnny Grunge...He passed away this morning at the age of 39, of complications of sleep apnea. I will never forget him and Rocco Rock (also RIP) as a tag team. I remember them bringing out the tables before the Dudleys. Woohooo, those were the days...He will be sorely missed and at least I got the chance to meet both of them at a WCW show back in the day. RIP Public Enemy...

Well they did this a couple years ago where Angle won HHH's title shot he earned from the Rumble. The next night at RAW for whatever crazy reason they had a rematch and Steph was involved, HHH won. Some thoughts on how Wrestlemania is shaping up:
Is anyone else baffled by the decision to put the budding feud between Trish and Mickie on hold to promote Candace's Playboy spread  I mean it was actually a Diva story that didn't quite suck. They at least could have made it a triple threat or something.
HHH vs. Cena.... pre-dict-a-ble. Somethign tells me the short lived Cena vs. Edge feud will have been more interesting (and probobly something they should have extended).
Orton winning the title shot... well it sucks... but there are rumours currently floating that they will make it a triple threat between orton Angle and Rey... which could be ok.
Another Money in the Bank match should be interesting enough.... Carlito, Masters, RVD, Benjamin maybe.... Big Show and Kane are likely.....
Big rumours on Taker vs. Henry.... sounds like a squash match for Taker to keep his streak alive... and he deserves better than that.
McMahon vs. HBK... not exactly the returning superstar match I'd have made but something tells me Vince isn't on the good side of a lot of his former employees. Considering the Jannetty appearance tonight perhaps it will turn into a Rockers vs. McMahons?
Foley vs. Edge.... Probobly a good match at least... if rather pointless... but I have faith in this one at least that Foley will make it entertaining.
Also where are the inter-promotional matches that made last years Wreslemania a little more interesting....
Not to mention this already looks liek a pretty full card... withnot much Smackdown on it at all... I know it's considered the secondary brand but for something that youre trying to promote rating on it's not a great idea to have your biggest event of the year so dominated by Raw. I'm sure a few more smackdown matches will be announced... most likely something to get as many superstars in as possible like a US Championship tornado match or something. But as usual the focus will be on Raw.
Oh and Zombieman... remember I'm allergic to apples ;)

Ohhh man, I totally agree with Ty about alot of things...
The whole Candice Michelle vs. Trish Stratus thing for the Women's title makes me sick. I hope that this match gets changed, and turns into something else. Although, I really doubt it. But, I'm betting that this will be some sort of gimmick match.
Yeah, I would like to see The Rockers vs. Vince and Shane McMahon. Now, THAT I would totally watch!!! I think it would make for one of the best matches to be honest. Could be very entertaining.
The Undertaker vs. Mark Henry is a waste of time, and will be a horrible, boring match. I don't look forward to it...Of course, they better not let Henry win.
Yeah, another money-in-the-bank match would rule. I would make it Carlito vs. RVD vs. Chris Masters vs. Trevor Murdoch vs. Kane. Shake things up and put another star in there. Of course, I gotta be a fan of Trev, but y'know? It would be fun to see!!!
Orton vs. Angle really sucks, and they are both heels anyhow. I know for sure that they will go ahead and throw Rey Mysterio in the fold. They better anyhow, otherwise it would be pointless and no fun. I would love to see Mysterio win it, but I'm ready for WWE to quit Eddie Guerrero's death as a storyline. Its not even ****in' funny, or appealing one bit. Thats what made me stop watching Smackdown for awhile.
Triple H vs. Cena was a little predictable really. I knew that they wouldn't give it to RVD, and The Big Show is too boring. This match will probably suck big time...Horrible idea...
Foley vs. Edge = Boring, unless there is a fun gimmick like hardcore rules.
If I could make the Wrestlemania line up, like I want...It would feature these matches...

You wouldn't include HHH at your wrestlemania at all?
Zombie! I can't believe you think Cena and the Game will suck. If anything this will be Cenas best challenger to date, and HHH can make anyone look good, even Cena.
I'm looking forward to that one.
I've been saying for a while it will be a three way dance over at Smackdown, simply because Orton is too good to leave out of the equation.
As far as this candice thing, I thought next week she would be challenging for the belt on RAW.....has it been confirmed her shot will be at Wrestlemania?
Makes more sense to have her enter as champ at Wrestlemania..........that way we'll all want to see her lose it.
I realize people may be sick of HHH, and mad at Orton because of Guerrero, but these guys can get it done in the ring, and at Wrestlemania, they will be very entertaining. I'm sure of it.
I feel both deserve the spot they have, and will not disapoint.
Overall, the Wrestlemania card as it stands now, through rumors and such, isn't that strong.
I can only hope that Bret being inducted into the HOF will mean he will appear at Mania.
I think it would be dope if he screwed Mcmahon back.
I would much rather see the Rockers take on anyone but the Mcmahons at Mania, but if Bret gets involved it will be historical.
They definately need to come up with some dream matchups, or have more legends than Foley involved to make Wrestlemania "Big Time" this year.

Honestly.... HHH is a good wrestler but he's letting his desire to be on top plus his influence get in the way of making the show better.
Word has it he's the only reason Cena got the title back in the first place, with the ratings beign higher during that period of Raw and Cena starting to get back over with the Male fans.... but the chase was too short for it to have any lasting effect.
Vince wants Cena to be his next Hogan but he's going about it all wrong and part of that is because of the advice of Triple H who is only trying to advance himself.
The HHH vs. Show matches have been great though.
KingMizfit
02-21-2006, 04:25 PM
Believe it or not I think HHH does have the best interest of the company in mind. Edge couldn't headline a Wrestlemania, well, not yet, especially after the way he won the title.
I'm of the opinion that a win over HHH would solidify Cena as a "real" Champ, as fueds with Jericho, Angle, and edge haven't been able to do.
I got a gut feeling that HHH is more concerned with putting on a Wrestlemania worthy performance then actually winning the Title. HHH has already passed the torch to Orton, Benjamin, benoit, and Batista. HHH is the reason Batista is/was a respected champ, afterall, he took the Game 3 out of 3 times.
HHH doesn't get much credit for being a team-player, but he's helped get over plenty of stars the past two years, and I suspect the streak will continue with Cena.
Don't get me wrong though, It's entirely possible that he will win the belt back at some point.
And yeah The Show and HHH have had some great matches lately, and HHH and flair had a helluva match two weeks ago.
Whens the last time you can say Cena had a Helluva match?

Randy Orton vs Kurt Angle wow that sucks completely ass, but check it out, Batista has 1st contendership, he never lost the title so he has a title shot. So if its Kurt Angle vs Randy Orton vs Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship it would make a great Smackdown Wrestlemania main event.
If theres is a match for the first contendership for the World Title it would be nice like The Undertaker vs Mark Henry vs Rey Mysterio
If there is a match for the first contendership for the WWE Championship it would nice like Big Show vs RVD vs Carlito vs Kane. That would be really nice. And it would shape Wrestlemania much much better

spoiler from smackdown taping
Randy Orton defeated Rey Mysterio for his Wrestlemania title shot this past Sunday at No Way Out. However, at the Smackdown tapings tonight, it was announced that Rey Mysterio will compete in the World Heavyweight Championship match at Wrestlemania anyways. Instead of the World Heavyweight Championship match being Randy Orton vs. Kurt Angle, the match will be Randy Orton vs. Kurt Angle vs. Rey Mysterio.

Is it just me, or was the Chris Masters vs. Kane match actually decent on Monday night? I enjoyed it alot! Though, the end kind of sucked, with the big boot. Other than that, it was pretty damn interesting. I wouldn't mind seeing them two feud for awhile.

yea Master Vs Kane would be nice. or even Masters Vs Carlito.
has anyone noticed that once the interview with HBK or The Rock about the two fighting at WM 22 and The Rock said no, that thats when the whole McMahon/HBK thing started?

WWE has come to terms on the release of both Chad Wicks and John Tolland who wrestled as “The Dycks.” We wish them the best in all future endeavors.

this is just a random thought which will probably never happen but do you think it would be cool if they made a dvd of the fans perspective of the WWE?
they can talk about their favorite moments they've seen on tv and/or in person. maybe some experiences of getting to an event or wrestlers they've met.
i think it would be interesting. if that was to ever come across there are 3 fans in general i would like to see.
1. The Howard Stern Guy (long black hair, always wears the black sunglasses, has a gotee or beard)
2. The Black(?) Cuban(?) Guy (real skinny, mocha light skin, wears glasses)(two guys to the left of the Howard Stern Guy @ ECW One Night Stand)
3. The Muscle Guy (blonde hair, wears a Tye-Dye shirt, has wrists taped up in white, always see him when they're at MSG)(also at ECW One Night Stand hehe)

I'm not sure why the guy never really got the kind of over the top push he deserved, but if Chris Jericho comes back, let the man do his thing and push him for crying out loud.
Granted he got the first unified title. But his title run didn't last as long as it could have.
I've heard Vince was never convinced he could be a superstar. But the guy is so over with the fans its not even funny.
Jericho is second only to The Rock when it comes to on-mic skills and the guy can not only flat out wrestle, but choreograph as well. Anyone else remember the 8(7) man TLC match for the tag-titles from a couple of years ago? Kane and Hurricane retained the belts despite Hurricane not wrestling? That match is STILL one of my all-time favorie RAW matches. And guess who choreographed it?
How about either a Kurt Angle feud with Jericho as a face, or (what I think would be better) a high flying arial fued with RVD with Jericho as a heel.

Is it just me, or is Matt Hardy starting to get interesting? His match on Smackdown kicked alot of ass! When he teamed with Tatanka against MNM. Also, is it just me or does Hardy need to give Tatanka some wrestling lessons? He seems to have forgotten how to do things other than clotheslines, chops, and hip tosses (Tatanka has). ;)

Matt is falling in my opinion. I mean, when he first got to Smackdown he did some nice roles and matches but wow i mean.... hes loosing it, i mean wasnt it just at Armaggedon or royal rumble he fought JBL, now what? hes after the tag titles for some reason with Tatanka, which i have to say has no grip on me, does not interest me. He could easily get on a good role with Benoit for the US title. those two could put great matches, they have before.
MNM should just stay tag champions forever, the tag team division is ****ed up, there is no way of fixing it. at all, there is no way.

I just watched a few matches from Heat, and they weren't bad at all. We saw a rematch between Goldust and Trevor Murdoch, which turned out to be a real dandy! I really enjoyed it, other then the ****ed up ending...Which I still don't have figured out yet. I wish that they would bring that few onto Raw. Other than that, I also watched Lance Cade take on Chavo Guerrero, which wasn't as good of a match, as I had expected. The other matches were blahhhh...

That would've been interesting to see considering who they both are away from the characters.
I wonder if they worked any moves stiff a little bit "just because".

Trevor and Goldust? I'm sure...I saw alot of stiffness from both of them in the past few weeks. Its kind of funny to watch. I've been in the ring with Trevor and he won't hold back from actually knocking the hell out of you. It kind of gets irritating, but its funny to see him and Goldust kick the **** out of each other!

I bet. I wouldn't mind seeing Dustin drop the Goldust character and play himself (or do both-which would be REALLY interesting) and have him team up with Trevor, Randy Orton and David Flair whenever David Flair gets good enough and start a "Sons of Legend" stable. I think that would be a great fall back if (knock on wood) Trevor's push isn't successful the first time around.

Totally a good idea. They all have legends for daddies, and that would be such a great stable. I believe that David Flair is wayyy good enough to come to WWE. I don't know what the deal is with him. But, I would jump for joy if he signed a contract.

^^^ He's been doing indy dates. I'm not completely sure on what feds, but thats the word on the street. ;) Anyhow about Raw last night. I really wanted to see Chavo beat Shelton Benjamin. I didn't care who won between Flair and Carlito. Then, I would have liked to see Trevor win his match, but RVD will do, I guess. As for Triple H and John Cena...I didn't think that I would ever say this, but I hope that Triple H kicks the hell out of Cena at WM. The whole Trish/Mickie thing is still really crazy, and I guess that they will turn Mickie into a complete heel closer to WM. Other than that, I don't really remember what else happened, so that must say that it sucked. Haha!!!

HBK is going to deliver hell to Vince and Shane. they crossed the line. And they didnt answer is Marty getting the WWE Contract, I mean, he never really submited to the Master Lock. man that Money in the Bank match is going to be great, I would love to see either RVD or Flair win it, either Flair making history by becoming an 18 time WWE Champion or with RVD by winning the WWE Championship for the first time.

i mean ya hate them both, but ya know what would be awesome during one of those hhh cena talking fights?...is if all of a sudden BAM *glass shatters, cue in austins music*!! Stone Cold just comes out and tears into them orrrr, cue in this music *If ya smelllll what the Rock is cookin!* the Rock makes an appearance saying how lame both wrestlers have become and talks about the good ol days and makes it like a fatal four way for the title! ohhh geez, see now that would be something fans would not expect buut we alllll know how these next few weeks are going to be...A-hhh and cena will have their tag match but somehow they'll end up fighting with one of the other walkin out on the other...then B-hhh will more than likely get john cena alllll bloodied up and cena will do his classic stumbling and bumbling act like he is soooo woozy from losing all the blood and then he'll have a big ol band aid on his forehead for Mania...then who knows what will happen at mania but by the looks of it, prolly hhh will win it. Oy yoi yoi, ya know i would really like one night for smart fans to try and write something for wwe because honestly the writing sucks...and I really dont think it is because of the actual writers...i mean ya they have a lot to do with it, but a big portion no doubt goes to vince who seriously tries to follow every other sitcoms way of doing things..he needs to go back to being spontaneous and creating his own controversy rather than just riding on the coattails of other trends that are occurring.

You mean you don't like the ole':
-Announce the match and have a staredown at the center of the ring where one wrestler says "we're not gonna wait for (insert ppv), we're going to settle this right here".
-Then Vince or the GM comes out and stops anything from going down and says they can beat on each other in a tag-match later that night or makes a tag match on next week's show. (or insert the ole "no touch" clause as per the wrestlers contract).
-Then during the tag match, the lesser wrestler will pin the star so the ppv match becomes more "believable".
or
-During the tag match, something happens and the match ends in a DQ because face and heel start beating on each other or s*rews the other one over.
-Then you get the meaningless title matches leading up to the ppv. Champ has to "defend" his title against someone we all know he will beat because it would scr*ew up the ppv bill. Or if it's a "non-title match", non-champion ppv opponet comes down and interferes with the outcome of the match to make the champ mad. Or if it's an actual title match, non-champion ppv opponet comes down and causes a DQ so the champ retains, but is PO'd.
DangerMouse
03-03-2006, 12:23 PM
Oh, and before I get the inevitable "what would you do" response, I would do what will NEVER, EVER be done.
Go with a PPV every other month and actually start changing belts (ie WWE Champ and Heavyweight Champ) on the actual RAW and Smackdown shows or at least change things up.
Take for instance the HHH versus Cena match. They are signed to meet each other at the PPV. Have a potential for Cena to get upset by HBK prior to Wrestlemania. If that happens, you have Vince vs. HBK for the title. So now you have a situation where Vince and HHH are put in a position where they need to help their opponet prior to the ppv so they can either get a title shot or keep a title shot.
Or better yet, and I have no idea why they haven't done this before, Wrestlemania should be champion versus champion.
SD Champion versus Raw Champion
SD USA Champ versus RAW Int. Champ
So on and so forth.
All title matches are non-interference matches meaning no superstar can interfere so you get a "somewhat clean" pin.
The winner stays champ, the loser is stripped of their title and a "brand" tournament is started that culminates with a title match to crown a new (or old) champion at the next ppv or (heaven forbid) a "Special Championship Edition of RAW (or Smackdown)".
Of course what do I know.
jbailey84
03-03-2006, 03:17 PM
if they ever want to have a Raw Vs Smackdown type matches/ppv, save that for Survivor Series.
everything was better when feuds started months way before Wrestlemania and were good. and when feuds would last forever, dont see that anymore. feuds were better when it wasnt so much storyline, the story was told in the ring in a match.

- As previously reported, WWE released Marty Jannetty on Friday. There was speculation that this was part of an angle. Jannetty was scheduled to appear on this Monday's RAW in Birmingham, AL, but somehow he screwed up and upset WWE. He is not expected back and the angle involving him for RAW has been scrap.
