Wrestler Sting doing biopic here in town

Some Nashville folks are making a feature film about the transformation of old WWE star Sting from boozing, drugging womanizer to praising, worshipping Christian.

Seems Sting's longtime manager is one Kathy King of Franklin, and her hubby, George King, is a Christian music industry veteran who found Sting's story compelling.

So Sting and George King are making a film called, get this, Sting: The Movie. Brilliant!

Face-painting Sting, a k a Steve Borden, will play himself in the movie, though local fitness center manager Donny Fallgatter will play a younger Sting.

Other local actors, including several first-timers, have been cast by Lyn Richmond, local casting guru. Among those on the set yesterday: former Titans wide receiver Chris Sanders, who is playing the part of a rasslin' referee.

And yes, there may be a tie-in eventually to that pay-per-view wrestling league, TNA, which has a regular Wednesday night show at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds.

The movie might not be coming to a large theater chain near you, but it's likely that Sting: The Movie will find distribution somehow through the Christian community.

Starring TNA's Sting and The Sting's Paul Newman as Ric Flair! With original music by Sting. Hear Will Ferrell say Sting.

Wtrestling-Edge:

Thanks to Nate Jackson for the following:

On the local 5:OO news here in San Antonio it was reported theat Stone Cold Steve Austin has been arrested again for assaulting his girlfriend of one year.

PWInsider.com has confirmed this report. We are working hard to get more details on this situation.

Come on austin, you need help with those problems...

Partial Credit: PWInsider.com

To update an earlier report on the Steve Austin situation, he has apparently not been arrested. However, the rumors about a domestic abuse incident with his girlfriend of one year (now known to be Tess Broussard, 37 years old) were in fact reported on local San Antonio TV-news affiliate KSAN-12 as reported.

The story goes, police were called to Austin's house in San Antonio on Thursday and according to a police report, the two, who are in the process of seperation, were talking when Austin "became irritable" and apparently pushed down Broussard, who landed on her hands and knees. Broussard told the police she "feared bodily injury" and that she has pictures taken for evidence and will pursue legal action against Austin.

SSA Entertainment sent out a press release earlier today stating the following: "Despite the reports of Steve Austin's situation in Texas earlier today, SSA Entertainment has confirmed that Steve Austin will be in Secaucus tomorrow as scheduled." So, those planning on catching the Austin autograph session in Secaucus tomorrow can still plan on seeing Austin there.

I'm really going to get bored with this angle FAST, this is one of those that should go to "Gimmick hell" alongside The Gobbledy Gooker, Hillbilly Jim, Doink, etc. Whoooa actually Hillbilly Jim and Doink were cool but they considered those "horrible gimmicks". But totally, this Bradshaw thing really sucks, I liked him better with long black hair, the mustache and the APA look, he was a hoss.

i like his new gimmick, he cant stay with APA forever and on his own that gimmick would suck, plus i never knew he could do good promos outside of the APA, seems i was proved wrong.

i thought it was a pretty good smackdown this week, cena's rap was pretty funny. If they could just give rene dupree a new gimmick past the 'french' then he will be a great wrestler.

from rajah.com

"There is a possibility that WWE will have the post-WrestleMania draft lottery becoming an annual event due to the high rating RAW received this past Monday. The feeling is that the brand split has been established to the point where combining the rosters for one night would impact the ratings and create a “special” atmosphere. Most believe that if the roster had never been split, RAW would have not been able to draw a 4.5 rating."

Well I missed Raw and the repeat in Canada will be too late for me but I wish I could've seen that match. Hopefully they don't both Shelton's push. Remember Maven eliminated Taker from the Rumble and beat him in a hardcore match.

in other news.
The following is from WWE.com:

WWE.com received the following information from the office of Jim Ross, WWE’s Executive Vice President for Talent Relations:

Terri Runnels and WWE have mutually agreed to terms to part ways. Terri has been a great member of our team for almost seven years, and we wish her the best and would enjoy working with her again if the situation presents itself.

Sean O’Haire has been notified that he will be released from his contract. Sean is an excellent athlete and we wish him well in his future endeavors

Well Terri should've been released long ago, O'Haire is just another wasted talent at the WWE. Was he in the Survivor Series PPV?

Bradshaw vs Eddie? no thanks. Heel contenders can be pushed to a certain extent since the fans don't have much of a say (Trips, Big Show). Bradshaw and Booker T are now the top heels on Smackdown, one month ago they were both faces in forgetable tage team matches at WrestleMania and Lenser and Angle were the top guys.

Booker T vs Eddie, Bradshaw is fed to Taker, RVD turns heel with Heyman as his manager and works a program with Cena. Heyman is planned to return as a heel manager, but with who is the question. Angle better be a short term GM.

Well seeing how Staples Center is a small venue compared to Sky Dome and Safeco Field I would think the WWE would be asking for higher ticket prices to make up for the smaller attendence.
For front row I would say aim for $600-700 since it's WrestleMania 21.

I've been a wrestling fan since WrestleMania, which coincidentaly is when I started watching TV when I was that young. I don't think I could ever stop watching it. I make sure I catch RAW or at least tape it or see the replay every week. I've never missed a RAW in years.

Anyone who says wrestling is dumb is just very opinionated. Lots of people watch that reality garbage and soap opera's all the time. But somehow that is better television? Says who, the people who like it. I like wrestling, star trek and family guy. I also liked Beavis and Butthead and He Man. Oh yeah, KnightRider and Airwolf rocked.

Which once again proves my point. German's love David Hasselhoff (Norm MacDonald - Saturday Night Live)

Can anyone here tell me where Scott Steiner dissapeared to? I haven't seen him on tv in quite some time. Is he injured?

slinger
04-08-2004, 06:10 PM
He should retire. He's injured I think with a leg injury.
Should be back soon. Ugh.

Remember his Royal Rumble match with HHH? "You ****ed up!" and "boring" were never yellled out more than in that match. Trips was practically a face because Steiner was so bad, they needed Flair to get some heat back. I belive it also ended in a DQ which made the match suck even more.

Then Benoit and Angle put on the ultimate wrestling clinic and Benoit gets a stading 'o' after the match, that he lost. Best of 2003. Then for some crazy idea (maybe it was in his overpaid contract) they do a rematch (HHH vs Poppa Pump) at the next PPV and it wasn't that much better. Luckily a young Evolution came down and destroyed him.

The problem is with this new ECW is, what happens when their established champ is over, WWE has some injuries. what is Vince going to do? He's going to move him to RAW or Smackdown.

i know im behind on this, but i downloaded the Brock Vs Goldberg WM20 match on KaZaa, and i was thinking to myself,

do you think the match would have been better if the fans didnt know about Brock wanting to go to the NFL?

cause watching it from all those chants it looked like they both didnt care and wrestled however.

slinger
04-09-2004, 10:01 PM
Well it probably would've been better. It had crappy buildup (no Goldberg) and the fans already knew Goldberg was on the outs bc the WWE wasn't going to pay him. Lesner left bc he didn't like wrestling anymore (and he was many valid reasons) so the fans let him have it. If Lesner has no desire and Goldberg has a handful of moves it isn't going to be a good match.

Bill Gldbrg Live: It could have been a wonderful match in history but the fans in the arena wouldn't let that happen. They just wanted to heckle us both for leaving. We didn't want to be there at that time, but give me a break. I wouldn't have been there if it wasn't for the fans."

from rajah.com on WCW Event resurrected

"WWE will be reprising a WCW tradition this year. On 6/27 they will present The Great American Bash as a June pay-per-view. The show will take place from Norfolk, Virginia and will be set around an “American-patriot” theme. Promotion photos show Torrie Wilson in a red, white and blue Uncle Sam outfit.

Norfolk is the home of the largest naval base in the world. WWE will also announce that members of the military will be able to view the pay-per-view for free.

The Great American Bash began as a series of summer events promoted by Jim Crockett in the late ‘80s. In July of 1988 the show aired on pay-per-view from Baltimore, Maryland headlined by NWA Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair verses Lex Luger, with Flair coming away victorious once the match was stopped by the State Athletic Commission due to Luger’s excessive bleeding. That night marked NWA’s first event ever available through all cable systems on pay-per-view.

The name was used annually as a NWA/WCW event and later became a WCW tradition."

That would be a Smackdown PPV. Good thing all the Canadians are on RAW. Might've read that its been quite a stir up here now that
Benoit "now residing in Atlanta, Georgia" (Edmonton home of Backlash)
Jericho is from Manhattan, NY (Winnipeg, Manitoba)
Gail Kim is from Korea (Toronto, Ontario)
Edge is from Florida (Toronto, Ontario)
and La Resistance is now from Quebec.

Benoit I understand and respect since he's lived there since '96 and two of his kids were born there. The whole feud between Jericho/Trish and Christian started with a 1 Canadian dollar (a loonie) and now when Y2J enters he's from the Empire State. Trish still lives in TO so that won't change. Many see it as a slap in the face, changing faces to American cities and heels to Canadian. Maybe if Jericho, Benoit and Edge were new but the audience and fans know that they're Canadian. JR has mentioned it countless times.

How anyone still cheers for these morons when they dance is beyond me. What WWE need to do is throw a few guys back to smackdown, lose rene dupree's tiresome gimmick, cause he's a good wrestler but he is being screwed by a crappy gimmick, and make RVD and cena main eventers. Wow, Se7en is pretty angry with the WWE. I have to agree that Grandmaster Sexay and Rikishi don't have alot of talent in the ring, but I have to disagree on Scotty 2 Hotty. Yeah, his "Worm" move may be kind of lame, but its total gimmick, the man can really wrestle. Think back to Backlash of 2000 when he wrestled Dean Malenko for the Light Heavyweight Title, that was a bad ass match! They just need to let Scotty fight some more technical wrestlers is all. About Bradshaw, I don't think his gimmick is racist and even if it was, who cares? Its just a show! I agree about the tag team division kind of sucking too, IMO when Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas were a team, that was cool!

APA I can see since they fired Simmons and somehow thought Bradshaw was worthy of a huge heel push, but they lost four teams that were just on a PPV and had to put the gold back on Evolution due to the lack of contenders. Smackdown is a shell of its former shelf in all divisions. If it wasn't for Cena and Eddie the show would have no hope. Keeping Taker of TV to increase houseshows might be okay at first but he needs to be on TV. Once Backlash is done they can start setting up matches for Judgment Day (usually a crappy PPV no matter what year) and he should be back.

i'm not totally pissed with WWE its just they are doing some really obvious stupid things and not doing obvious good things, they split up tag teams, who they obviously need them, they send loads of great wrestlers to RAW who dont need them and leave Smackdown with, ok some great wrestlers but not enough. I do remember the dean malenko v scotty 2 hotty match and it was good but what they need to do is stop blinding me and the stupidity of scotty's gimmick. also as regards to rikishi again, if one of your finisher's is rubbing ur ass into another guy's face, then i think you gotta reconsider ur chosen profession or at least make some changes. Anyway, did anyone else notice that when there is any anti-american group (the un-americans or la resistance), they away make a lot of sense when criticising the USA....just a thought. WWE's greatest problem is wasting talent. Sean O' Haire? he had talent and he coulda been big, tommy dreamer? see any match in ECW, paul london? why is he still on Velocity, the kid is really really good! doug and danny bashem? they guys have either no gimmick or a terrible gimmick, some of the guy's moves are great! nova? where is he?

Alright here is my idea to really make Raw interesting. Have Orton win at the ppv and HHH lose. Then on Raw HHH shows up and can't get into the Evolution room. Then Orton, Batista and Flair come out and rip on HHH for losing once again to Benoit. Orton says he beat yet another legend and HHH couldn't even beat a gap toother joke and his one time bestfriend. Then orton says Evolution doesn't have a spot for a joke like HHH and that he is now the leader of the biggest thing in wrestling. With that he introduces a new member. (someone massive and bad ass to team with Batista. Flair will finally become only a manager)

That would be such a good angle imo

That would be great if Shelton turned heel on RAW and HHH was on the outs. He has beaten The Game twice and it would really help him to hang with Evolution.
Have a old fahioned beat down and that would explain Triple H leaving to go film a movie. He returns and wants a title match against Benoit since Orton his own thing with say Jericho. Then maybe for Survivor Series its HHH vs Orton with Hemsley winning and then Orton would eventually win the title next year and enter WrestleMania as champion.

I strongly disagree. He's too generic to me. His finisher is a toned down Diamond Cutter and he's slow in the ring. "One of the better mic workers" is being very generous.

Flair is the best wrestler in Evolution by far. Batista is only good as a monster and HHH just annoys me now.

Just found this on another message board.

Eugene's origin revealed?
By JOHN POWELL -- Co-producer, SLAM! Wrestling

Nick Dinsmore as 'Eugene'.

As controversy continues to swirl regarding the WWE's new "mentally challenged" character, information is now surfacing concerning his possible origin.

A former WWE employee has told SLAM! Wrestling that the 'Eugene' persona is likely based on a real "mentally challenged" boy who used to hang out backstage as a guest whenever the promotion visited the Northeast region of the United States in the eighties. According to the source, the boy wasn't aware that his disability was persistently ridiculed by some of the WWE employees at the time.

"Folks in the WWF treated the kid, named Eugene, with respect, but he was always laughed at behind his back. Many people routinely mocked him and sometimes for fun he would even be mocked up front," the source claims. "It struck me as odd that we could be so nice to the kid while at the same time delivering vulgar disrespect."

Debuting on last week's Raw broadcast, 'Eugene' is played by grappler Nick Dinsmore. Eugene was introduced as Eric Bischoff's "special nephew" and the snobby William Regal was assigned to manage/baby-sit him. With fantasy possibly mirroring reality, Eugene's erratic behavior was positioned as comic relief on the show with fans laughing at and not with the new character as he imitated the Bushwhackers, licked the announcers and had to be led away by¨Regal. As most fans are aware, Nick Dinsmore himself is not disabled in any way.

After being besieged by email from irate fans who expressed disgust and concern over the angle, the WWE began issuing a form letter response to defend the story line and clarify their purpose in going forward with it.

"The WWE intends to portray the character of Eugene as a hero, as are the many people with disabilities around the world (many of whom are WWE fans) who must everyday face challenges to live the type of life many of us take for granted. Eugene, despite his disability, will get a chance to achieve his dream of becoming a professional wrestler. We hope that Eugene's story will encourage other people with disabilities to strive to achieve their dreams, whatever they may be," states the WWE in their e-mail response.

It is unclear whether negative feedback from fans altered the WWE's plans for Eugene or not.

In Eugene's profile on the official WWE site, he is described as "unique" and that "the "special superstar and his manager will provide Raw fans with a lot of interesting times together to look forward to."

In assessing the Eugene persona, the ex-employee wasn't surprised at all that the WWE would produce such a character.

"The WWF has some strange cultural roots, and some attitudes that are shameful. This is just one of them," said the source.

That is just f**king sick.

interview with Kurt Angle

Michael Landsberg had a chance to sit down one-on-one wth 1996 Olympic gold medalist, and former mulit-time WWE champion Kurt Angle on Thursday to discuss his health, WrestleMania 19, and his future in the business.

To watch the entire episode, click here.

Landsberg started out by asking Kurt Angle, "How's your health?" Angle said that he had four years without an injury, and then he hit a wall, knee surgeries, two neck surgeries, and now he is going to have to have another neck surgery. He will be having his surgery in May, and should be back by August.

Michael asked Kurt if he would consider hanging up the tights, Kurt said that he's lived with cronic neck pain since 1996, when he broke his neck, and he used to have a doctor shoot his neck with Novocaine so that he could continue amateur wrestling.

Michael said, "You're a pretty mild mannered guy, you're not a threat to hurt anyone else, but you are definately a threat to yourself." Angle responded saying that until he had a baby girl last year, it wasn't a huge concern to him.

Michael talked about WrestleMania 19, and walked through the match between Kurt and Brock. Tape rolled of Angle walking to the ring. Kurt said "At this point I only had 20% strength in my left arm. The thing I was most nervous about was Brock Lesnar, he's a rookie.", Angle spoke briefly about Brock Lesnar, referring to his rookie status "He doesn't really know how to work yet, he's basically a loose cannon." "If I had Triple H, Chris Benoit, or Eddie Guerrero, I'm fine."..."As the match went on, I had less and less arm strength, and I couldn't lift my arm above my head." After the match, things were just as scary, "As I went backstage, I broke into a sweat, and I went into shock."

Michael said "Aren't you glad you got into something that's fake?" Angle responded saying "My body's more beat up in this than 20 years in amateur wrestling."

They then showed the Brock Lesnar shooting star press, "He wasn't hearing me at all, he was out, god forbid, I thought he was paralyzed.", on what he was thinking at the time, "When he missed me, the first thing that came to my mind was we're going to have two guys out. We're going to have the top two guys in the business out."

Landsberg then talked about Angle's first days in the "Funking Dojo" with Dory Funk Jr. Angle was in a crop of talent that included Val Venis, Test, Edge, and Christian, among others. Kurt started wrestling on a Monday, and was in his first pro wrestling match on a Friday.

"Are you worried that you have missed your chance due to injuries?" "Yes, I am, I'm never going to be the most popular ever. My goal was to be the best ever among my peers. Ric Flair, Bret Hart exactly. I've only given four and a half years."

Kurt is also worried that he won't get pushed high enough because of his injuries. He likened it to Eddie Guerrero, who could have been there two years ago, but had a drug problem. He's worried that WWE managment may not have enough faith in him because he might not be there long term due to his injuries.

Michael showed some video from three years ago when Kurt was on OTR, talking about pain killers, Michael followed up, asking if his opinion had changed on pain killers. Kurt responded saying "No, I can't say that I haven't taken a painkiller, I've got chronic neck pain. We go out there 250 days a year, how are you not going to take a Vicodin here, or a Percocet there? Vince McMahon has a strict agenda for us and he says 'If you screw up and get caught up in drugs, you're gone.'"

With the Olympics coming up, Landsberg if he's got the itch, Kurt responded by saying, "Nope, I don't have the itch. That part of my life is over."

The Quirky Fact going to break was: "If this wrestling thing doesnt work out for Kurt he could always take Landsbergs job. Before joining the WWE Kurt made his living as a sportscaster for Fox Sports in his hometown of Pittsburgh." However after the break Angle said; "I'm not good on that side, I'm good on this side. I wasn't very good at that."

Angle said that at 35 years old, there's no way he could go back and do amateur wrestling again.

Landsberg asked if he had helped to create respect for amateur wrestling, and respect for pro wrestling with amateurs.

"Brock might have never happened if it wasn't for Kurt, that gave a lot of guys the ambition to become pro wrestlers."

On whether amateur wrestlers respect what he does now, "Most of them, not all of them, some of them are so old school that they'll never change. This gives them a chance to display their skills that they learned in amateur wrestling. You take your amateur wrestling and bring it over to professional wrestling and gives you a whole new career."

When asked "What is Kurt Angle in the ring?" Angle responded; "I think Kurt Angle is as close to the real person as possible. I really am a gold medalist from Pittsburgh. We've pretty much gone with the real Kurt Angle."

When asked how he had changed in the last three years, he replied, "Well I'm bald. I think I've matured as far as the way I look at the business, the way I look at my family. I think I was more star struck with the WWE. Now I think I'd rather be at home with my wife and kid right now."

SmackDown will be at the Air Canada Centre on June 1st, and Angle says "This will be the first time in almost a year, with Rey Mysterio Jr., the Undertaker back, Eddie Guerrero will be here, it's going to be great."

Another great inteview, tsn.ca/wrestling has a link for the whole interview. Above covers pretty much everything. He did say that WrestleMania 20 could've been much better, it still was a great match, just if he was healthy he could've done more. Sounds like he might have 1-2 years left in him, depending on how the WWE uses him and if he can get by with no injuries. To me in his limited career he's one of the greats.

Trained ref? So you fall down at the slightest touch and make sure to never watch the heels? If they want to make the product better they should use the refs better instead of the old predictable stuff where the ref goes down, he doesn't see etc. Try something new. Give the refs some personality. Remember when Nick Patrick was a heel ref in the WCW Invasion. So when the match starts and a certain ref is involved we know that something will happen. Really, Earl Hebner only gets 'You Screwed Bret Chants'. And whats his name is always involved with women matches. Not make it a 'special guest referee type match' but just so it adds an element. Certain refs would let things go like in other sports.

LMAO, dude you'll be happy to know that I'm totally not like that in the ring. I am different from any other referee, I have my own style and I don't let the wrestlers push me around much when I do referee, I will push them around right back. I have an attitude and the crowd loves that, it adds more to it because the fans always know that when a wrestler touches me, then **** hits the fan, hahaha! Winnipeg is getting a 'double shot' of WWE Television. Smackdown was already coming here July 6 and sales have been very good after two weeks. Chris Jericho (from Winnipeg) saw that SD! was coming to The Peg and just had enough. He talked to DeMarco (WWE Canada) and some WWE 'Brian Trust'. Basically he got RAW to appear in Winnipeg the night before. This rarely happnes and especially with a market this size. However, there are plenty of great wrestling fans here. (Raven is doing a show this week.)

All the other Canadian cities have gotten PPVs or RAW and Smackdowns, but never back-to-back. Maybe Toronto two years ago. The Arena is also being closed and replaced with a new one downtown. John Cena said earlier (on the same radio show) that is Smackdown sells out the WWE would take notice. They always want to be the first event in a new entertainment centers in North America. So perhaps a another RAW or possibly a PPV (depends what they do with Jericho) is in the future. I don't know my summer plan but it would be great to go.

the clotheslines and chops were surprisingly stiff, we did suplexs and powerslams and simple (enough) hammerlocks and collar and elbow tie-ups! i absolutely loved it! All in all i am definately going next week.

Awsome, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Clotheslines and chops are always going to be stiff and especially because chops are actually very real, lol. I'm surprised that they let you take powerslams and suplexes on the first day, you must have potential. Your lucky that your trainer wasn't like a drill instructor because my first trainer was like one and now where I train at, its more laid back. Front bumps are tough for alot of new trainees, but personally thats my best bump that I take and always has been since day 1. But yeah, glad to hear that you liked it and I hope you stick with it!

I kind of have to agree with you about Michaels needing the title. I think he is the best in the bus right now also, he still has it going good for him! He does need a better gimmick and a total heel turn from hell. Triple H doesn't need anymore shots at the title, I'm tired of him. This HBK vs. Benoit feud is awsome and I'm loving every bit of it! Benoit needs to keep the title for awhile but eventually it needs to lead up to HBK winning the title and then Triple H making a face turn in the future and challenging HBK for the title at Wrestlemania next year. 'The Toy Headquarters' unleashed some huge news today as it revealed its future publishing plans for the company's WWE wrestling franchises. Announcing a total of three games in all, THQ not only addressed the question of when gamers can expect its next batch of grappling titles, but has also settled the question of what these titles are going to be called.

PS2: At the top of the announcement list was the revelation of the all-new Smackdown! title, WWE Smackdown! vs. Raw. Once again developed by the team at Yuke's, this sixth installment of mega-selling franchise will feature abundance of new options and games modes; with a particular attention paid to improving on the graphics for a more realistic presentation. The game will be released near the end of October/beginning of November.

XBOX: THQ also confirmed that it has done away with its Raw franchise altogether and has instead replaced it with the former GameCube property, WrestleMania. To be more formally known as WWE WrestleMania XXI, the game will not only boast an all-new developer (Studio Gigante of Tao Feng fame), it will also introduce plenty of original game modes and improved television style visuals. Expect to see it debut simultaneously with the WrestleMania XXI event next year.

GameBoy Advance: The final game on the list is the all-new Game Boy Advance SKU, WWE Survivor Series. The first game for the GBA WWE title in two years, Survivor Series should boast a ton of new features over its predecessor in addition to a variety of match types. No other details other than its release date (Holiday 2004) were given.

Well I think Vince wants to keep his stars healthy as possible. The Taker-Lesner/Heyman HIAC was good and it wasn't that violent nor did they leave the cell. Taker was probably the darkest crimson mask you'll ever see.

HIAC is usually used once or twice a year, the brand extension makes it one per brand. But if this is ture HHH has been in a few of late. Y2J and Nash both lost to HHH.

I'd much rather see a Kane-Benoit HIAC match. But since HHH-HBK have used so many gimmick matches (Street Fights, Cage, Elimination Chamber, Triple Threats, Last Man Standing) they need something to top the previous ones. Benoit looks primmed for a SummerSlam match with Hunter then.

We have just been told that Brian 'Grandmaster Sexay" Lawler was fired from WWE upon arriving to RAW last night. We do not have very many details on this other than the fact that Lawler showed up late to one of the RAW brand house shows this weekend and was warned by management.

Lawler was told that if he showed up late again to a WWE event he would be fined.

Christopher had previously been released by WWE in 2001 after being arrested in Canada and charged with possession of illegal drugs. Christopher, real name Brian Lawler, pled guilty to possession of cocaine.

I've always hated the "roster split" or "brand extension" or whatever the hell they want to call it. It was a horrible idea and it makes me not as interested because mainly I don't get UPN anymore.

i haven't seen smackdown in a long time. I get UPN too. i just don't seem to watch it a lot. Only if there are cool things in the spoilers. I watch RAW mainly and that seems to suck lately.

didnt see RAW this week, but i did see Kane getting 'beaten' by eugene silly....silly move if they want kane to be a serious title contender. You know with eugene really getting over, i think vince wants to put as much of him on RAW as possible....i have a bad feeling this is gonna backfire

The reason why the fan got thrown out of the Arena at the Passport to Pain tour in Munich last night was JBL did a Nazi salute in the ring two times during the main event. A fan got mad about it and wanted to attack JBL for his actions. The Nazi salute is strictly prohibited in Germany, even foreigners can be punished by German law for such activities. It's really sad that a person needs to use such things to draw "cheap heat".

wow that is sad..

Raw was kind of boring again tonight. But I am still going to order Badd Blood this Sunday. Who else is going to watch it? I will post up my predictions later. Also what match are you most looking forward to? I'm actually looking forward to seeing Eugene whip Coach's ass believe it or not.

i'm not going to get it. the only reason i would probably get it is because of the HIAC. i'm looking forward to hearing about Eugene whipping coaches ass.

RAW was boring tonight also.

HBK was busted open and he was wrestling Orton. Batista came down and interfered but got Sweet Chin Musiced by HBK. he then SCM Orton and got a chair and started to beat Orton and Batista with it. He point and HHH and went up to the skybox where he was at. Flair tried to catch him at the stairs but HBK threw Flair down the stairs and kept going. He made it to the box and then HHH and HBK beat the living crap outta each other.

i couldn't find a site with the matches but i'll try later.

WWE.com is trying to toy with the fans. look at this headline:

BIG NEWS: Stone Cold signs... his cooler. And you can own it!

John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield has been fired by CNBC in the past few hours, after finding out and investigating the “Nazi” incident which occurred on the German leg of WWE’s European tour. More information on said incident can be found on the newsboard a few posts down.

-- CNBC, as I said, investigated the incident and a spokesperson for the company said that they “found his behavior to be offensive, inappropriate and not benefiting anyone associated with our network”.

Yeah Gail Kim is still wrestling, and yes she did disappear there for awhile. I'm not sure on that situation, she could have been injured or they just didn't have a spot in the storylines for her? Anyhow, being that your from Germany and a WWE fan. I'm just curious, what is your take on the John Layfield Bradshaw/WWE incident when they were in Munich? He did the Hitler salutes and marched around the ring in his match and is now in deep ****. Did that offend you pretty bad? I think its turning into a serious situation over there.

im actually american, just living here in germany with my parents cause my dad(air force) got orders to germany for 4 years. but i told my friends that are german about it and they laughed about it cause its a very stupid thing to do in germany. the hitler salute & using the word Nazi towards someone is a huge big no no. other than that, bradshaw could have done something better like got on the mic and spoke some german slang & not disrespect a country by doing the hitler salute.
