Didn't see a thread for this, but this is obviously the remake (or re imagination) to the cult classic The Prisoner.

It begins this Sunday it seems with two episodes.

This is getting many decent reviews, and I love the fact that they serialized it as a 6-hour miniseries rather than trying to milk this as a full series or as a shorter movie. The concept deserves to be fleshed out and I hear that it has a very smart conclusion and that the entire show really is smart and makes viewers think (and the main criticism is that the talk/discussion of free will, capitalism, and paranoia will become boring for most viewers - which often just means the creators respect the intelligence and attention span of their audience).

not sure if i should be a purist or not with this, but 6 hours is simply not enough time for the entire prisoner saga.

I played the RPG and that was pretty weird - I've seen various episodes of the original, but kind of felt lost not seeing it from the begining.

I never realized there were so few episodes

They are replaying it at 10pm so if you missed the 8pm EST. You can always catch it again right after.
