Who would you rather have seen take over these classics?
Or are you happy with how things are going?

The Texas Chainsaw remake, The Friday remake, The Hitcher remake.. was the Hitcher remake PD? Maybe not. Either way all the remakes have been utter failurs. Pure cash-ins, no other reason, no real talent behind ANY of them and all monumentally fall short of capturing what made the orginals classic to begin with.. and the NOES remake looks just as bad and early word from the screenings have been anything but stellar.. So I'm not looking forward to it. It's a shame that no real filmmakers wanted to take stabs at these remakes and understandably, why would you wanna f**k with the icons, but having someone with talent step in would of mattered greatly. Suddenly Alex Aja's remake of The Hills Have Eyes is looking mighty brilliant right about now. :P

I loved the TCM remake but I did hate the F13th remake, also liked the Amityville remake so at this point I have no major issues with them. If they screw up the NOES remake though I will be ticked off. JEH in NOES is a win so if they can not provide a script that makes the film shine, I might just have to burn their building down.
