Scream 4

Scream 4 is supposed to be in writing and David Arquette and Courtney Cox have already signed on. This series was one my favorite, but i just dont think part 4 will work. What would the story be about? Maybe they'll do it like h2o halloween 20 years later where jamie lee curtis dies right away, in this case Sidney Prestcott.

i dunno how this would work either. and the fact that this new trilogy would focus on two of the SUPPORTING characters from the original films doesn't strike me as a good idea...

plus, i didn't care all that much for them in the first place. they're fine as supporting characters, but as the MAINs? don't think so.

i honestly think the best bet would have to change the whole scene. get a darker director, and do it as a prequal. why the person went nuts and how her mother is wrapped into the whole story. something out of range of the cast but they are around in more of the background..

The first one was interesting because of the twist at the end. The others just milked it and weren't nearly as exciting. I can't imagine how this one will be any different than the 2 crappy sequels.

I have respect for Craven and if he directs this I'll see it for sure.. but he's an idiot for being associated with any further Scream movies. Scream 1 worked. I hated the fact he made 2 & 3. They weren't bad films but they did nothing to enhance the first film. It felt like Craven was just going through the motions for the studio who were begging for sequels. This new trilogy is UNNECESSARY.

If they really wanted to shock audiences for this one, they would either have Neve Campbell get killed in the beginning or have one of the good guys from the first 3 movies become the killer.

That didnt really work for Halloween though. I dont expect this to be good at all, though I was never really a huge fan.

Excluding the three bands jinx_girl13 said most bands scream because, truly, they CANT sing. either they dont have the brain capacity to create lyrics OR they just plain cant sing because they dont have their idea or the majoritysof the perfect voice.

The second season are usually not so good as the first one .I wonder wether you have seen a film called "Final Destination”，the first two season is good while the 3rd and 4th one is not worth to see.

This is the first I've heard of it. I liked the Scream series and actually will watch them still occasionally so hopefully this turns out to be pretty good.

I liked Scream a lot. Scream 2 was okay until the end--some moments were downright good like the scene in the police car where she has to crawl over the corpse, the scene where Gail watches Dewey get stabbed through the glass.

Scream 3 was HORRIBLE.

I hope they don't further sully the movies with another sub-par sequel.

I did love the part where Gale sees Dewey get stabbed in Scream 2. That was amazing. I was pretty disappointed by the 3rd... if they can do a 4th and redeem it, I'm all for it.
