Jeepers Creepers 2 was decent but the first one scared the living hell out of me in my childhood. I watched it again recently and saw that this was a very good horror movie, but Noone compares it to Halloween though or anything like that probably because it wasnt that very popular but watch it again and Justin Long is great and the way they portray the monsters character in it is amazing. They give him just a little bit of taste in his personality as he whistled the "Where'd you get those eyes" tune. I thought it was Great Directing along with it. The scene where the cops are escorting the kids to the station the monster just lands on the car but you see this from the windshield of the kids car in front of them which i thought was very inventive. One of the best scary movies to date for me. Hope someone agrees. I thought i should remind some people of this movie. Halloween was the best though.

The first one was decent, had some good suspense going, even though the ending was a bit of a letdown. The sequel however, was one of the worst horror films I had the displeasure of paying for. At least I got a night of hilarity out of it.

Wasn't there supposed to be a 3rd? I liked the storyline of the first, the 2nd got cheesy, but left off with potential for a decent 3rd if they stay away from the campiness of the last one.

Yeah, I heard a 3rd is supposed to be in the works or have been talked about as well. If there is, I'd love to see them take it back in time to the 50's or even back in the late 19th century.

Jeepers Creepers is definitely one of my top 5 horror flicks of all time. I just love how this film starts off with peeling layers off this mysterious person to reveal it's true form by the time it was nearing the end. Not too long ago I was checking to see if that old Church was still standing in Florida after I heard it was a real one they used in the Director's commentary and unfortunately, it was destroyed by a fire by some teens a few years back. It was actually neighbours to George Lucas' horse ranch.

Part 2 was just as fun to watch as well with those kids on the bus even if the mystery of what he was, was gone. But we still got to see how he ate and what came about because of it which I thought was cool.

I saw it on the same day I saw Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and The Musketeer and The Others. That was a good day. When the ticket seller's looking at you all crazy-eye 'cuz you've been there all day, that's a good day. I loved that movie quite a bit. I was gonna wait to talk about it til it comes up in the tournament, but **** it. I thought it hit just about every note right. The only thing I wanted to complain about was when the Creeper gets to the police station and limps along, except limp isn't the right word 'cuz he didn't have half a leg. I didn't like that, for some reason. When you've set up something that bad-ass you can't give it a weakness. But when its wings popped out, and the final scene, that was all awesomer than ****. I liked how dark the ending was, you don't get that much anymore. Part two was meh. I didn't like the knife thing, with it heat-seeking or whatever, that was pretty lame. There were some cool parts, but there were some suck ones too like the ending in the cornfield. I'd like to see a three, though.

I didn't mind the limping so much. Sure, it showed weakness but I thought it was for the best since we did see his leg getting crushed there so we would have to assume it anyways. As a matter of fact, it was the scene leading up to that incident that bothered me the most. Where she hit him with the car. He with ease, avoided getting hit the first couple of times by running up over the top of it. Then she put on this mean face and punched the accelerator and even then, he still had all the time in the world to react but just ended up looking feeble making the scene feel unrealistic. It just didn't look natural the way it was done and you can tell.

The original started really well, but seemed to take a bad turn. The third one is on its way soon tho which should be worth looking out for.

These were 2 of the biggest pieces of **** movies ever made. I'm not a fan of horror movies, but when I laugh my ass off when the 'monster' if first shown, it's bad.

i thought the first half of the first movie was really neat. I liked the chases, and watching "the scarecrow" dump the bodies was really creepy. I always found myself wishing that they had not gone for the supernatural angle and had just made him a twisted psycho. But then I suppose that the movie would not have been as original.
either way. I check out as soon as Gina Philips runs him over and his wings pop out.

I saw this movie but the first one was far much better. JC2 was a little above average but it was certainly an entertaining film.

I just found out that this is the same director as the movie "clown house"
Hes a pedophile. And made jeepers creepers when he got out of prison as a come back. Its actually pretty obvious when you watch clown house, he has a lot of shots of the main character in his underwear and a scene where hes taking a bath and both of his brothers are in there with him all just talking..I dunno about you but Ive never taken a bath while my brothers were in the bathroom with me all nonchalant.

well theres a fun fact for anyone who diddnt know that.

The first JC's was fantastic. I remember seeing it in theatres with a packed crowd and we were all on the edge of our seats on a cold and rainy Friday night. A perfect popcorn horror freakout.

The sequel was a HUGE disappointment and a little creepy seeing as how the director Victor Salva is a pedophile and for most of the film the cast which consists primarily of teenage boys are without their shirts. :P

So then are they going to hit up Polanski for JC3 when he's finally released?

I really liked the first one but it started to go downhill as soon as the Creeper sprouted wings. The 2nd started cool but got bad fast...

I loved JC up to the scene where he turns into a giant bat monster thing. that kind of ruined it. It was just so creepy up until that. Huge guy dumping bodies, scary ass truck, scared teens. That is the best recipe for horror. Then you throw in a giant bat man monster and it goes down hill. I quit watching JC2 after about 45 mins, it blew.

When he turned into a monster it took things into an interesting direction with the whole every 28 days it feeds or whatever.. if it was just a guy stalking teens with a truck it would of been boring.

I loved Ray Wise in the sequel. I'd see another one. They're not the best, but I enjoyed them.

Yeah but in the second one, it was the dead kid from the first film that was connecting with her. In the first one, the lady was pretty much doing it on her own. Seeing into the future that is.
A bit different so is why that never really bothered me.
